"I can stop magic which is already in progress but with illusions there's rarely any need to do that, right? It's not substantial. Pass your hand through it, throw a pebble at it, that sort of thing. Anyway, what makes you think it was an illusion?"
(OOC: I'll add some information, but don't stop your discussion.)
Brin can potentially cast Dispel Magic, due to the (home-brew) magic necklace. But he seems less than thrilled when reminded about the necklace passed to him by Froskan.
The party finds a small hill some distance away from the warehouse, that still has line-of-sight. Trimyrai adjusts some unusual goggles over his face ( Eyes of the Eagle ), and reports more information to the party.
After your party left, the sergeant went into the warehouse, along with one of the guards. There is still a guard by the fire barrel, motionless with his arms out to warm his hands. The third guard walks about the corner of the warehouse (no longer in line-of-sight), while the fourth guard climbs to the top of the 20' warehouse to watch the surroundings.
All the roads and paths near the guard warehouse have posted signs. You passed one of them. It warns people to return to their homes, on orders from the city rulers and the city guards, given the state of emergency from the blizzard.
It will be difficult to get near the warehouse without being noticed. There are no huts and other buildings within 30' of the warehouse. They appear to have been demolished, the rubble still visible through the snow. Other buildings further away (but still in the vicinity of the warehouse) are in disrepair, and appear shuttered and abandoned.

Reverie hums in thought by the reports. "A guard in motionless with his arms out to the fire barrel... I think it could be an illusion or maybe the guards has been corrupted by the magic or such." Then she looks at Anna and Brin. "Brin did mention about the fire barrels that doesn't seem to provide the heat for someone. Also, I am curious the way they were asking Iskander a question about where and what unit he's belong to... According to the information from Trimyrai, the warehouse seems to be fine than the other buildings that has been in disrepair, shuttered and abandoned." She frowns even more. "Something is definitely wrong here. If we could, I would like to see the Earl, the rulers about this matter," a pause. "Could we ask someone at the church of Eldath if they know anything about this? Or to the temple of Oghma? Perhaps, they could gives us some advice or answer to this event."

Trimyrai: (to the party) "A guard being corrupted, or is a part of the church of bane. It seems like Bane's influence in the area is high. I expect us to encounter more members of his church to show up as we adventure around here. Could be Bane and his church are being more brazen about their activities since they have so much influence."

DMing "Gallia Campaign 1".
Looking for a new game, if you need a player private message me.
Reverie hums as she looks at Trimyrai. "... Would it be the Bane or the followers of Talona?" A pause. "Do you think that they might work together for some reason? Or perhaps we could go to the church of Bane, and ask some questions about this strangeness as well." She doesn't like to think about to visit the church of Bane to ask a question, but could be worth for a try.

"We could always be using an illusion ourselves, disguise ourselves somehow, and then be moving back in." Brin offers. "No be sure how, as there no be anyone else around, so no sure who we pretend to be, but it be an option." He shrugs though, not really seeing that as a valid idea. "Better option be using a distraction to get em to be all looking somewhere else while someone be sneaking up to get a quick look inside."
What does the roof on the warehouse look like? If someone were to fly to it, could they land and stay out of sight and get a look inside?
(Previously mentioned that one of those regular guards climbed to the roof and is actively watching the area.)
The warehouse is 20' tall, and a mix of wood, thatch, and hardened mud. Better than the huts in this area, but not a permanent stone structure. (OOC: I had in mind the medieval equivalent of prefabricated corrugated metal buildings, that could be built at a new site and is better than a tent.)

Ana shrugs and says "I can probably get in without too much trouble if you need it investigated. A squirrel, a spider... No need to be stealthy if you don't seem out of place." An insect would be best for infiltration, but she couldn't fly in wild shape yet, so actually getting to it might take some time with all this snow.
(OOC: If Ana decides to shape shift to a woodland creature, she can pick something that you'd expect to see rummaging around the city and wouldn't be too suspicious, like a squirrel or a hedgehog. I was going to say a snow hare, but she would probably avoid the more edible animals, in case the guards are hungry.
In case it helps to list some of the ideas mentioned, this is what I can recall:
Shape-shifting scouting
Return to the warehouse, and directly confront the sergeant and the other guards
Return, with stealth, and try to sneak around (assuming you figure out a way to avoid being seen by the guards). This may or may not involve a distraction of some kind.
Find a decent unoccupied hut to watch over the warehouse from a distance, and do a stake-out
Visit the Iron Gate guild, to get their feedback.
Visit some of the other City Guard. You know that Clew-Sea didn't like your group, but you know where to find his office.
Circle around the warehouse, avoiding it, to get to the spot where Anaskyrath was plane-shifted by Darvin and the bheur hag.
Some of these could be done in parallel, but I'd have to be told who is doing what.)

"No reason we can't be taking a couple minutes here for our shape-changed friend to be doing a quick check of the building." Brin mentions. He nods to the druid. "If ye be in trouble get ye out of there, or let us be knowing ye be needing our help."
(OOC: If Ana decides to scout as a weasel or something similar, then I'd need a basic plan for what you want to do, so I don't put you in a situation you didn't want. Also two Stealth checks (+5) and three Perception checks (+3). I might not use them all, but better to have those rolls handy.
Right now, the party is 300' away, far enough are out of sight of the guards at the warehouse with minimal effort, but close enough that Trimyrai can watch them with his magic goggles.)

Reverie nods as she listens to the conversation for a moment. "Since the warehouse seems old, maybe the spider would be the great idea to infiltrate; however, it is too far and there is a snow... A hedgehog may sounds more decent at this moment. How many times can you shifting shape per day, Ana?"

((Wild shape: "You also retain all of your skill and saving throw proficiencies, in addition to gaining those of the creature. If the creature has the same proficiency as you and the bonus in its stat block is higher than yours, use the creature’s bonus instead of yours." So I would use the weasel's higher Stealth +5 but my own higher Perception +7, not so?))
"Since there's some strain involved in it, I can change shape twice before I need to rest for an hour. So I could change from squirrel to spider on my way there but then I'd be stuck in that form. Well I could change back to my normal form of course but not into another animal. The question is, can I get in as a squirrel? I would guess not, so I would have to try to look through windows or something." She thinks for a moment. "Well, if I have to take the trip back as a spider, so be it. "

"Perhaps some sort of illusion magic? Is anyone able to dispell such things?"
"I cannot." Brin answers. "I can end a spell someone is trying to cast, countering it, but I cannot stop a spell that has already been cast."

if there is a way to just circle around it and get to the spot we want to get to, then that would be what BRIN would want to do.
Ana looks around to see what the group wants to do. She's ready to change shape and go but wants to make sure the group is on the same page first.
