Reverie Forestgleam—Human Paladin Level 5 in Frontier City of Nunkreet Extremely busy and busy as ever recently, but I will trying to catch up as much as I can
Theren and Trim do enough damage (6, 9) to finish off the last deinonychus. The body twitches a bit, so Reverie whacks it a few more times to make sure it stays down.
Your group looks around, and there are no more dinosaurs in the vicinity. It does reek of lizard blood and flesh, especially from the stegosaurus, which has been dead longer.
(Froskan needs to roll if his inspiration saved him from that last 3 damage. Combat is over. Let me know what you want to do next.)

For the first time, Reverie flops down slowly on the ground after the fight. This time, Reverie feels a bit of tiredness. However, it didn't take a long time to sit for her. Within a minute, she stands up on her feet, putting her weapons away. "I am fine," she speaks with a sigh, "It was an unexpected foe, and yet we won. I should say I am fine." Then she smiles at her companions, tiredly.

(Didn't realize I could use inspiration to add to AC on defense. I"ll give it a shot: 1 )
(Jack joined the bardic College of Valor, which allows him to give Combat Inspiration.)
(For Trimyrai: Was able to recover 2 of 4 arrows. You will be at the Greensville village the next day, and will be able to get 2 more arrows there.)
Froskan was unprepared for the unusual power of Jack's words, so the effect wasn't enough to ward off the claw slash. With more time to think, this was one of the new abilities Jack was bragging about after the Watchful Guild training.
The group notices that vultures have started to arrive and peck at the dead dinosaurs. Another sign that there are no more hidden dinosaurs around. Also not dangerous to you; if you "shoo" them, they will flap a little further away and wait to resume eating.

“I don’t know about making camp,” Froskan says from where he sits, “but I could definitely use a bit of rest before moving on. Do you think we need to bring something from that,” he waves to the dead stegosaurus, “with us as proof? One of the tail spikes maybe?”

Earlier in the day, Reverie had concerns that the wounds on the deinonychus did not appear to match the description of the wounds on the slain donkeys. Seeing the stegosaurus tail spikes in person, they appear too wide and curved. As Theren checks the head, the teeth are blunted for plant eating, not flesh tearing. Theren feels confident that a mistake has been made. The stegosaurus did not kill those donkeys... It was something else.

Reverie frowns ever so slightly as she tried to find the similarity of the wounds on the stegosaurus, and her frowning went even deeper once Theren discovered the creatures they attacked were not capable of striking the flesh with their teeth. "... Do you think," she clears her throat once, "I don't know what I could say, but do you think the culprit is still this kind of creatures or... a dragon, perhaps?"

"Dragon? No. I doubt it. Ye see, a dragon is smart. If anything, it wouldn't have left survivors to tell the tale. It would've killed it easily. Plus, you'd think someone'd see a giant dragon."
Trimyrai: (to the party) "You guys are telling me there is something bigger and scarier than these creatures we just killed? and i certainly hope its not a dragon. for the sake of argument and it was a dragon, wouldn't we see scorch marks or signs of fire?"

"That is very true, and I feel better by your opinion." Reverie relieves as she chuckles. "We need to find information to find this creature. The description I heard from Bommie is different." A pause. "Should we go and find this creature or should we go back and tell Bommie about our progress?"
