Knowing that Reverie could heal herself if only she could move, Ana decided to repeat her action and cast the spell to purge Reverie's paralysis. Laying her hand on her friend briefly, she cast a spell and said loudly "Focus on that blue monster. It regenerates, try to disable it somehow." Since her arrow did nothing to it, she shfted her gaze on the guard who had taken a lot of damage and sent a luminous arrow at him.

Brin's spell (Aid) increases the maximum HP for himself, Iskander, and Reverie for the next 8 hours (no concentration needed). That also heals Reverie up to 29 HP.
Reverie is unable to act that round, but Ana removes the paralysis so she won't be helpless to slaad attacks.
Trimyrai sends 2 arrows at the slaad. The first deflects off the tough hide of the toad-creature, but the second impacts for 12 damage.
Iskander strikes the guard twice (28 damage combined), and Ana's astrological arrow blasts the same guard for 16 damage. Despite its body being split open from collarbone down to the ribs, the guard still stands impassively in front of Isk... Brin's voice calls out menacingly to Iskander: "Finish him!" (Iskander resists the urge to scream out "mortal kombat!") One more glaive strike (25 damage) finally gets a response from the guard. All 4 guards at the same time have a brief expression of surprise, then slump to the ground as pools of grey sludge.
