Towering trees, whose tops are lost in heavy gray mist, block out all but a death-gray light. The tree trunks are unnaturally close to one another, and the woods have the silence of a forgotten grave, yet exude the feeling of an unvoiced scream.
Velnor follows his companions with a grim face when the fog starts apearing, when he hears that they are not in the same forest he starts following his companions with shame, now hearing Arbist words he says "It was under my council that we faced the forest head on without a guide, i can only blame myself for what may happend now, but you can be sure i will stand beside you my friends"
Arbrist, being very much a well-traveled man, looks around, hoping to find anything that would even remotely indicate where they are:

A foul scent leads you to a corpse half-buried in the underbrush about fifteen feet from the road. The young man appears to be a commoner. His muddy clothes are torn and raked with claw marks. Crows have been at the body, which is surrounded by the paw prints. The man has obviously been dead for several days. He holds a crumpled envelope in one hand.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Arbrist retrieves the envelope, opens it and looks through its contents. this done, he looks at the body and the vicinity thereof, giving special attention to the claw marks.
Mituna calls out as they all run off the path. “Did you consider that the man off the path in the woods is dead because he left the path? Come on, we should keep moving! We have a village to reach and people who want our help! If we help them, we can probably ask them about where we are and what is happening!”
As you continue your journey on the road through the forrest. You start to notice a river. This river flows as clear as a blue winter sky through the valley. You continue down the road until tall shapes loom out of the dense fog that surrounds everything. The muddy ground underfoot gives way to slick, wet cobblestones. The tall shapes become recognizable as village dwellings. The windows of each house stare out from pools of blackness. No sound cuts the silence except for the mournful sobbings of sevreal people that echoes through the streets from a distance、it origins unknown.
As you knock on the dark house、you hear the scurrying of movement. You also hear、coming from another direction the squeaking of a wheel. The sobbing continues.
”Fear not, for we are never without a guide. The gods will make our path clear.”

You learn nothing new about the statue. It is simply made of stone.

You catch the scent of death on the air.

Investigation: 9
After which, he calls out to the party:
"Guys! Come here, I found a dead body!"
Perzival rushes over and investigates the man: Investigation 18.
He also peers at the letter over Arbrist's shoulders.

Abrist agrees with Mituna:
"Yes, let us return to the road!"
Once this is done, he reads the letter out loud to the party.
Perzival says: "The letter speaks of a vampyr!"

Arbrist is relieved at any sign of life, so he approaches the nearest house that does not look abandoned and knocks on the door.
As you knock on the dark house、you hear the scurrying of movement. You also hear、coming from another direction the squeaking of a wheel. The sobbing continues.
"Anyone here?" Arbrist shouts to the house. "We mean no harm!"
If he receives no response, as the wheel squeaking should, logically, indicate people, he will turn around to where the sound is coming from.
As Arbrist attempts to parley with the people inside the house, Mituna turns to look at the wheel squeaking.

(Perzival roll perception check for hearing inside the house)
