Looking around afterwards, he asks, "Anyone else in need of healing?" (I don't recall how much damage anyone else took :P)
(Beegred took 12 damage, but probably okay to use the long rest instead of a spell. If Derendil is fine at half heath, so is Beegred.)

Narstin, the paste made from the mix of rust, minerals and fungi may work to make an orange-ish paint. Without anything to carry it in, it wont last long. Best paint with it soon.
(Had been planning to ask if there was anything I could use to make paint, but figured it was possible the perception check was for that, so, cool :D)
Realizing he could make a rudimentary paint from the materials at hand, Narstin quickly starts mixing it, using it to paint 2 interlinked rings (the symbol of his deity) on his shield.
Hauling your hard earned materials the remainder of the day, you all decide to make camp in a cave that appears to have been used as a prison a long time ago. You can see piles of crisscrossed rust where cages once stood as well as lines of rust across several nooks that would have served as prison cells. On the ground are long rotted furniture that yields like mush when you poke with a finger. Besides those, there is strewn rubble all around and a layer of dust. This alcove doesn't appear to be traveled or used anytime recently.
(If you are doing anything prior to stopping to take a long rest, let me know. Otherwise, tell me where to place your tokens for your rest. I especially need to know where Sarith, Narstin and Xilyrah set up for their watch.)
(I forget which symbol is Sarith. If he is I5 or I6, then that is a good spot. I think he would want most of the group as shields between him and the cave entrance.
Beegred will take whatever spot is open, since he will be working on his armor instead of taking a guard shift.)

Tozer plops himself down at G2, after moving the metal debris out of the way, of course. He will attempt to sleep facing the cave entrance, lying on his side with his shield in front of him and a javelin close at hand.

(Beegred's modifier is 1 higher, so a 23. )

Narstin, Xilyrah and Sarith set themselves up for the first watch. Beegred settles into an alcove and quietly works at repairing the breastplate. The remainder of the party settle into their respective spots to sleep. An hour or so passes and the regular breathing of sleeping folk is all that can be heard. Then Narstin hears language, guttural and not far away. Turning to make eye contact with the others to see if they heard it too, Narstin accidentally knocks his shield over, causing a brief clatter.
A voice speaks again in a guttural language, but much louder and made to carry further. The caves go silent.
Xilyrah, startled by both the guttural language and the clatter of Narstin's shield, immediately jumps up and peers into the darkness, crossbow at the ready.
