"Okay," Kyne says, closing the book he is holding. "Then how would you suggest we reach Old Lornack? Sarlona is dangerous. Dul Zerath is a long way away. How do you propose we get there? If this is an urgent matter, then surely you don't expect us to traipse across half the world? If you do, then a day more or less will hardly make a difference."
Seb'riel puts her pen down and looks over the top of her papers. Yes, what do you propose we do? Do not condescend me or treat me as a fool. You think these papers are filled with what I have found on nothing? They are patterns, gaps and segments on the unexplained. Things that seem to follow one pattern but are attributed to different beings, events where the source is unknown. Things I believe orchestrated by the same beings, in their own groups. In the hope that perhaps one of those beings is Yuriel. More importantly, they are filled with things I did not know before. So if we are to journey for several years and undertake a task this dangerous, I might be prepared for more of what may come."
The satyr chuckles at Hurosks impersonation, and then he turns towards the elven sibilings.
"oh we don't have years... months perhaps. It depends on how fast he prepares, and we don't have any way to know that, don't we? so we should better be on the move and don't try to learn alll the secrets of the universe on books. Who out!! live a little!!! if you'd ask me, a little bit more colour in your face would do marvels to your sking... " he says to Seb'riel moving his fingers in circles, encircling her face from his perspective. Now... if you are not able to use magic to transport you to Sarlona, perhaps you should find someone to do it, or book passage on one of those fancy airships... certanly going via sea would take more time... why do you ask me? you are the natives to this plane or planet or...whatever...you should be the ones telling me how to travel!"
"A skyship will take a long time too - if one of them is even travelling to Sarlona. One day in the library won't be a difference in the grand scheme of things. You appear wherever you want, whenever you want. Can't you just snap your fingers and send us there if you want our help with this so badly?"
"You don't listen do you? No I can't. I can't directly interfere with the flow of things. I am taking a huge risk here helping you. One that you simple, sparky mind cannot start to comprehend. I just wanted to let you know that you will not find anythng about Yuriel on this library, or any library for that matter. Why are you so picky today? So many paper and so few flaames perhaps? "
Kyne grits his teeth and forces a smile, his knuckles pale as he grips the pommel of his sword and pale orange tones swirl within the dragonshard embedded in its hilt.
"Lyreis. Would you care to accompany me to the docks to ask about an airship? I think my sister can manage alone from here."
"Have I not been? I hadn't noticed." Seb looks up at her brother with a half grin. "If somebody could inform the goat man that if he makes comments on my looks another time that I shall become rather less than helpful though, that would save me some considerable trouble. For now, I am going back to these stones, finding them was supposed to be important to being able to combat Yuriel, so finding him before we have them seems rather foolish."
Galdly helping the group along wanting to fit in as the new guy, Dworic went off to find more books on the subject and sneak in a few books on what interested him as well. On his way back carrying a pile of books so tall it blocks his vision he feels a tangible tension in the air when he approached the group. He tilts his head as to look passed the book to see what going on and sees the satyr and Kyne looking at each other with what appears to be some conflict. He continues to bring the books to Seb as he places them on her desk and then looks up towards the satyr and addresses the group in general, "Ay, whose dis goat-mahn over here? He wun of yer frens?" (Hey, whose this goat-man over here? He one of your friends?)
"Yes I am... or that I thought... please be so kind my good dwarf to inform your elven friend that I already told them that the only one who can help them with information on Yuriel is on Sardonas. It seems that they think they could do well without my help.Well we'll see about that...."
Seb'riel smirks. "Back to the stones then. I need information on weapons powered by dragonshards, either those we have, to discover how to unlock their potential, or others that we may find their location. Here is a list of potential places to start." She takes the paper she had been writing on as the Satyr spoke and divides it up between those remaining to go and search.
Before Kyne leaves to look into the airship she grabs his arm. "Is he listening in on us do you think? It troubles me that he repeated words I used last night about not finding everything in books and needing to get out into the world."
"Probably. He's fae, what do you expect? If he is, then ᴍᴀʏʙᴇ ʜᴇ sʜᴏᴜʟᴅ ɢɪᴠᴇ ᴜs ᴀ ʀᴇᴀsᴏɴ ᴛᴏ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴛᴏ ᴅᴏ ʜɪs ᴅɪʀᴛʏ ᴡᴏʀᴋ ғᴏʀ ʜɪᴍ!" The sorcerer adds, raising his voice at the end, in case the satyr is indeed eavesdropping.
Seb nods. "See what transportation you can find. I'm keen to unlock more of the potential of the weapons we have. The answers may be here. Or indeed the locations of others. Weapons like these tend to form legends."
"I think you all have this taken care of," Hurosk says tossing the quill aside and jumping from his seat. "I could use some fresh air, so I'll join you," he says to Kyne.
"If you're staying here, Seb'riel, someone will have to go talk sense to Kyne," Moltaris tosses back over her shoulder as the group makes their way out. "Or put out his fires!"

Eshuvenniel Kazander Ravid,Valor Bard and Acolyte of the Goddess of Luck Caradoc Langham, Halfling Rogue - Lost Magics - Epic of Pre-made Proportions! I'm not looking for heaven or hell... just someone to listen to stories I tell...
The party doesn't have trouble to find the skyport, it is actually near the actual port, Shallan smiles and points out that, at the end, the warforged was right and they had to go back to lake.
They found the skyport bursting with activiy, with several deck hands working hard and deck officers yelling orders. They look up to check the reason of the commotion and they can see a mssive airship getting ready to dock to the upper platform of the skyport.
The ship is al least twice the size of any airship they could had seen before and has two elemental rings that keep it airborne. The figure head of a roaring gold dragon adorns the hull of the ship. The delicate maneuver to dock it is witnesed by the group and it's quite a sight.
One the things start to calm down a little and the estevedors start to unload and load part of the cargo of the lage ship they can see some of the passengers disembarking, either to take a walk on the city or, perhaps, because Passage is their final destination.
They walk up at least two histories at the central tower of the three that form part of the skyport and finally reach on deck officer that can attend them between the apparently controlled havoc of couriers and people passing by as they talk.
After hearing their needs, the man, who is already on his fifties and look at them behind a pair of glasses from time to time while still working on taking some notes replies.
"Well, there is only one ship that will make the trip to Sarlona right now. You have to had noticed it. The Golden Dragon. Huge ship on Lyrandar's fleet. Passage is its last stop before making it's first intercontinental flight. This is its inaugural flight you know? we at Lyrandar are very proud of it! I am not sure if they would have any free cabin though. How many are you? I could ask if you want. " he pauses for a moment, taping his right temple with the quill he has been using to take notes. " You can always could try to arrange a charter flight there... I think the Mist Eagle is currently free... "
Seb'riel pulls several of the more interesting scrolls and texts towards her, making notes on a final summary page.
Scepter,
Current Location, in my possession.
Capable of producing snow storms and blizzards. Freezing an entire harbour. Power intensified by strong emotion. Potential problem.
The Black Hunter
Bow.
Last Known Location, Jungles of Xen'Dric, close to the capital. Wielded by the elf Sevarash.
Capable of killing a giant in one strike.
Powers heightened by emotional connection and passion.
Unknown blade
Current location, potentially with Lyreis. Used by defenders of Aerenal and champions of the undying court.
Potential unclear. Most powerful in the most zealous defenders' hands.
Unknown Scythe of The Reaper
Current location, unknown. Last noted on the cliffs of southern Zilargo. Goran the Reeper perished in battle with a paladin.
Red gem at the top of the scythe. Wielder was obsessed with purging evil and searching for 'the chosen one'. Could be the most direct link to the defeat of Yuriel. Everyone seemed evil to the wielder, so he killed entire villages. Disappeared either when struck by lightening or in a flash of light.
Mindsplinter
Morning star with abilities to dismiss those from other planes and disrupt psychic powers, wizards' spells and Monk's balance.
Current Location, lost with the cursed kingdom, potentially more information to be found in Riedra. May not be the best thing to have around.
Finished, she rolls up her notes, and finds a map to pin the known locations onto and make a plan of which would be easiest to find along their next planned route. With this in hand she heads towards the docks to look for the others.
"Not sure I want to sleep out on the deck of one of those things, let's hope they have space." Lyreis speaks his thoughts out loud, the others able to hear him easily. The blademaster is looking around with a smile on his face. "In all my years this isn't something I have ever done, I'm looking forward to it. At least I will be of we can find a space on board." He runs his hands through his hair smoothing it back into place, his long fingers quick and accurate as he retires loose strands. As he lowers his hands he let's one brush against the necklace given to him by Ryn, reminding him that he needs to speak to Sebriel about it, ideally before they leave.

Dworic, has a confused look on his face at the Satyr's comment and quick exit. "Ayve nuh cloo wut hay's on about." (I've no clue what he's on about.) He sees Kyne leaving with most of the group to the docks and he's tempted to tag along but hearing Seb discuss these stone-powered weapons piqued his interest so much more. He follows the group right before they leave passed the front desk and walks back to Seb, "Nevuh a bad aydea to hev anuther payr of hans. Whether en fightin' or en buk collecten." (Never a bad idea to have another pair of hands. Whether in fighting or in book collecting.) He then gives himself a hardy chuckle and big toothy smile at Seb.
Seb nods, though as she doesn't look up from her work it is unclear whether she has even listened to what Dworic has said. A few moments later when the scribbling is done she looks up though, finally properly acknowledging that he has remained. She bluntly asks "Now would be the time to tell me your theory on getting more power from the stones. What I have is written here and you can see it after you tell me your own thoughts first."
