The altar stands below a statue of a young man, dressed just with a toga and a mischevious grin in his face. Anatol offers a quick prayer and by the time he finish he notices that the young woman has left the room without making any sound. The old man is still at the same spot. minding his own bussines it seems.
Moravasti begins to wonder about the others who have been wounded. Aretheir minds, like the old woman's, now corrupted?
The monk turns to Brother Klithus and asks, "Have you noticed any strange behavior from these wounded ones? Have you heard them say anything angry or threatening, while awake or asleep?"
Moravasti's response to the cleric is both honest and calm, for he does not wish to create a panic. "Merely being thorough and cautious, Brother. The monster that attacked these individuals sprang forth from an old man...an old man who had been speaking words of judgment and violence. I'm hoping that none of these who are recovering within the temple will succumb to a similar fate."
The monk then conveys a telepathic message to the other person who was attacked.Fight to remain who you are. Shun the darkness that seems to reach out for you.
Wisdom saving throw, if necessary (w/ advantage as a result of Kalashtar's Dual Mind trait): 17
"And you think that some of this... hate.. could had spread to them like a poisonous weapon? " asks with both curiosity and calm Brother Kilthus "Why could you think that?"
Reaching the mind of the other wounded he find it at peace, no violent images assult him like with the woman, neither pain. Just a steady calm. The man appears to be sleeping a dreamless sleep, probably thanks to the sedative beverage the clerics give to the wounded to ease the pain.
(In case you are wondering, yes, they administrate the same sedative to the woman but it seems that it has no effect. Moravasti please, roll an arcana or history check for me)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"I am a Kalashtar, Brother Klithus; therefore, I have some skill in linking my mind to that of others," explains Moravasti, who then points at the old woman. "What I have encountered in her thoughts is cause for concern and grounds for caution. Her mind wrestles with the darkness, similar to what I saw in the mind of yesterday's monster."
The cleric seems worried about those under his care and nods at Moravasti's words.
He walks at the woman's side and puts a hand in his head.
"I see.. poor child. How we can do to her? " asks Brother Kilthus.
Moravasti Nice roll!:
You know that certain individuals are capable of project their conscience to the physic plane, where things like the Q'uvari dwells.
The creature you faced feeds on the negative emotions of their preys, fear, hate, anger... those negative emotions feeds and breeds them, givien them more power and creating portals between the Realms that they can use to manifest in this plane of existance. This is, most probably, what happened with the old man. His hate fueled the creature and the creature fueled it, in a retroactive circle that ended how they saw. Seeing, and feeling, now the havoc and the storm of feelings that are inside the woman's head, he fears that, in time, it would be too late to save her.
He then remembers the crital they found. That kind of cristals are used as focus and reforce natural Physic abilites. Perhaps with it someone could porject himself, and potentially others with him, into that realm. That's really dangerous but it's not unheard of. He knows that some groups of powerful mystics had porjected attack units into the Dreams Realm during the war to fight their enemies not only at their plane, but into their realm too. He also knows that most of them didn't find a pleaseant end.
Metagaming a little bit if you had played the Dragon Age series it would be like going into the Shade in that game.. I am not sure is that precise name but I hope you understand what I mean.
Moravasti recalls what he has learned about the Dreaming Dark and the fiendish spirits from Dal Quor. This woman may very well be a gateway by which another nightmarish monster will arrive in this place.
Turning to the cleric, he says, "Something real...something sinister...but something distant lurks in her dreams, Brother. I do not yet know what can be done on her behalf."
Inquisitively, Moravasti then looks at Vallineral, wondering if the elf has any insight.
(Hey all, finally back from visiting people etc. and got reliable internet again. Will be posting sporadically until about Monday/Tuesday.)
"Hmm," Vallineral looks to the woman. "I am sorry I cannot help further. However, there is a pull to my senses, like a strand of the taint is tied onto my fingers."
"The crystal you now possess, Vallineral. It might allow us to save this woman. Possibly as a means to project us into the very realm where this threat originated."
The idea seems ominous, even to the one who just articulated it.
"Are you sure about that? " he asks them " That could be really really dangerous.. " he looks really concerned " Another of those creatures you say?" he puts his hand over the woman's head and she groans quietly in dreams.
Anatol starts to wonder if he shouldn't go to the tower the others are and join them.

Anatol indeed was
"What's taking so long. Hope they haven't trouble without me." Anatol mutters to himself and heads into the church in search of his friends. He ll ask for direction to the sick wards.
Anatol will keep the spell on but give the blind man a long bow of respect.
Then moves toward the main altar and give a quick prayer.

The old man replies to the bow with another one.

Anatol will go sit with him then. Still invisible. He waits for his "prey" to reappear.
Once sitted next to the old man he says.
"I hope you don't mind if I remain invisible." he chuckles at his own jest. "I m rather fond of my privacy."
He then sits and enjoys the silence.

The old man smiles.
"Oh! Were you invisible? Sorry then.. excuse this poor old man. My senses aren't what they used to be back in the day... "
At least five minutes pass and no one enters or exit the room, neither the door from wich the hooded figure dissapeared is opened again.
Meanwhile at the other tower of the Temple of the Host the rest of the team seems to have a potential dangerous situation developing...
PbP Character: A few ;)
Deciding that it had nothing to do with the hooded figure had nothing to do we them Anatol will take his leave.
"it was nice making your acquaintance. Seems I followed the wrong person. Good day to you."

"One never knows young one. " replies the man as he nods to say goodbye " one never knows... "
Anatol leaves the tower and comes back to the main temple.
Sounds of dice rolling behind the DM screen.

"Hmm no.. not that I can remember or heard of. They were quite grateful that we were able to help them... why do you ask?"
( Does Moravasti try to enter the other wounded mind? There was still another one from the attack of the creature... )
