Ooc: Volimpdis, I like to add a bit of introspection with my characters when I'm playing. I add bold for ooc, italics for internal thoughts, an a colored quote section for dialogue to separate it and kinda replicate IRL play. I don't see anything amiss with what you're doing so far. Also, don't count any rages as used. I was trying to be cinematic, and I can get carried away sometimes with details.
Allen: The man covered in frost starts to convulse, shaking uncontrollably. The lady appears to be sleeping peacefully.
Merno sneers and takes a stance similar to that of a dancer. His demeanor from cowardice to brovado a 180* difference, and it's clear he's ready to defend himself. He's challenging Graeme forward with a 'come hither' motion and teases, "Oh my, we wouldn't want you go to get lost. You poor dears. Don't worry, you'll all soon be neatly pieced out into jars before long." Overconfidence leaves him wide open, and a well placed arrow pierces his left shoulder.
Letting the arrow's momentum carry him around full circle, he hisses and rips it out violently. Rumble hurls a spear Memo's direction, but his spinning motion carries him out of it's path. Rushing forward and jumping into a flying kick, while strong, is a bit telegraphed. Merno sidesteps the blow with a hardy laugh.
ooc: Everyone that's awake, please roll initiative. For those not awake, still roll. I'll insert you as appropriate. Graeme, you can reach him, and our other two make take their turn before jumping into order.
The coin pouch hits the halfling's chest and after recognizing it as being his, he checks his own pockets to see if in fact it was his pouch.
"S..sorry, who are you lot? What is going on?? Did someone just say there are undead outside?? Ohh I must be dreaming. I knew Shouldn't have gotten into that cage fig--" he winces from the pain on his right flank...
Ah, not dreaming... the halfling looks at the other figures still with a confused look but searching for some direction in this chaos. "Please, let's just get out of this alive"

The halfling wields his axe with two hands and stands his ground inside the cart. He is still unsure about what is going on and who to trust so he will be very defensive for now.
Readying an action to attack anyone who obviously attempts to attack him first.
Edit: there is a shivering body here. I want to perform a first aid check on them and free them if possible. I was just helped and heard we need to stay together. I'd feel bad if I didn't check on them. If this check uses my action that is okay, I will prioritize this. Not proficient or antthing, just an average joe check.

Ready for anything to come your way, you stand prepared in the wagon. Being more concerned with the seizuring human takes precedence. Cautiously prodding the seizuring body doesn't evoke any direct responses, but it's very clear he's still alive and extremely cold to the touch. The human is bound, and he is shaking heavily. Unfortunately, he does not respond to your words.
Merno reacts just in time as Graeme moves in and slices upwards with great force. Bending backwards, the metal rings by his face as it cleaves the air in front of him.
Rumble engages and thrusts the spear forward. It catches Merno center mass very hard. Hard enough for him to double over unexpectedly. Your follow up kick soars over him as he's catching his breath.

Taking his shortswords in his hands while running, Euron will also join the others in close combat. As Merno has to catch his breath from Rumbles Kick, Euron uses the Moment to hit him with both weapons.
Euron steps up over Merno and strikes down with his left shortsword. It cleaves into the man's back with a puff of red mist. The man gasps in disbelief as he begins falling to the ground. The second strike hits home hard, slamming the man down with force. Abruptly, Merno laughs loudly until pittering out into silence. The raspy laugh echoes for an unearthly amount of time until the forest grows deeply silent.
Ooc: Merno is now dead, and combat is over.

Rumble draws his spear from his back with a flourish and tosses it at Merno as a follow up.
Attack: 23 Damage: 6
He then uses his feline ajility if needed to gain a sudden burst if speed and deliver a flying kick as a bonus action: Attack: 17 Damage: 6
