"You're not planning to go see Halia tonight," the barmaid says, clearly overhearing Glynquinal's comment. "She'll be closed up and headed home by now. You'd best wait until morning."
HDP will play a tune for whoever is left at the bar, and any collection he makes he will secretly donate back to Toblen for his generosity. Then he will go up to bed.
Ian will linger in the bar, making sure there are no suspicious folks hanging around. He is the cautious sort. He would like to be the last one to leave the room, if possible without it being awkward to the owner/barmaid. As long as he doesnt suspect anything of anyone, he will finally head up to sleep.
Herr Doktor's performance is more than welcomed. Not only is everyone excited to see the saviors of Phandalin back in town, but to have live entertainment is a big draw. It ends up being a busy night for the Stonehill Inn. Herr Doktor ends up earning 10 silver in tips. When he tries to give it to Toblen, he waves off the bard. "You've brought in so many customers tonight. You keep the coin you earned. And your room is on the house any night you play."
There are a lot of faces for Ian to watch. Unfortunately, many of them address him directly as one of the saviors of Phandalin. It's hard for him to do a good job of investigating tonight as it is impossible for him to keep a low profile. He does stay until Toblen is ready to lock up for the night. The young human bids the elf a good night as Ian finally leaves, feeling there wasn't anything fishy going on tonight; it seemed like everyone was having an honest, good time.
Glynquinal, as you were heading to your room, Gundren caught up to you alone and explained that he wasn't planning to join the group the next day. He explained that he is much more comfortable in an office making plans than swinging a sword.
Ian, when you get to your room, you decide to examine the cloak a little more closely. You can tell it's special. You spend 10 minutes with it and discover that while wearing it, you can cause a projection of yourself to appear directly beside you. It copies your movements exactly as if there is a mirror following you around. (Cloak of Displacement added to your inventory. Merry Christmas.) The object jogs a fuzzy memory from when you and your family still lived in the woods. It seems like it involved you and some other boys and a similar magical item, but you can't really remember very well.
The next morning, Rock returns to the common room wearing his new bladed gauntlets.
Trilena, Toblen’s wife, greets Rock and Glynquinal as they sit down in the otherwise empty common room. "You two are up early this morning," she says with a smile. "Can I fix you a plate?"
Glynquinal greets her, "Something small for me. I'm kind of excited this morning. Things are looking up for my friends and I."
Relaxing at the table Glynquinal relays to the other two, "Gundren pulled me aside and said he would not be joining us as he's not comfortable going out on adventures."
HDP enjoys performing, and assures Toblen that he will perform again another night. He makes his way to bed, sleeps very well, and wakes up rested and ready for action. He heads downstairs, and sits with the others, also asking Trilena for a plate of whatever everyone else is having, as well as a large cup of light ale…any looks from the others, and he says “Don’t knock. A light ale with breakfast is a good start to the day.”
Ian finds his way down to breakfast as well, his new cloak in his bag…for now. To the group: “Who is ready to hunt some goblins, and hopefully find some answers?! Anybody know they way down the triboar trail to Wyvern Tor?”
Trilena brings out what everyone orders in stages as they gather around the table. Someone asks her about the Triboar Trail and Wyvern Tor. She tells them to head north out of town to the Trail, then head east. "Once you hit the ruins of Conyberry, you'll be able to look south and see the crag. Head that way, keeping it in sight. It's probably a 20 to 25 mile hike through the hills after you leave the Trail. Are you going to Wyvern Tor?"

Glynquinal laughs lightly, "You are right of course, It would not do to show up late in the night to do business. Tomorrow it is then."
Gruxx nods to Glyquinal.
"I appreciate that. Yes, I'd be happy to tag along with you in the morning." says Gruxx.
Anything else tonight, then?

The next morning, Rock returns to the common room wearing his new bladed gauntlets.
In the morning feeling well rested Glynquinal returns to the tavern room to get some breakfast and wait for his friends to appear.
Rock will join Glyn for food.
Glynquinal to Rock, "Morning Rock. Ready for what the day holds for us?"
"Aye, friend Glyn, do you have the funds that you need yet?
let us feed, and be about it then!
Trilena, Toblen’s wife, greets Rock and Glynquinal as they sit down in the otherwise empty common room. "You two are up early this morning," she says with a smile. "Can I fix you a plate?"
Gruxx makes his way down to the common room. He spots Rock and Glynquinal and gives a wave and makes his way over.
" 'Morning folks. Ya'll about ready to do a little shopping and hunt a few goblins?"
Gruxx looks to Trilena.
"I'll take a plate please. Gonna need the energy." says Gruxx.
Yes please, what ever you have in raw meat please, and ale
Glynquinal greets her, "Something small for me. I'm kind of excited this morning. Things are looking up for my friends and I."

”I’d say if I’d been taken prisoner I’d want to take some time to myself too.”
