You have an excellent memory for maps and geography, and you can always recall the general layout of terrain, settlements, and other features around you. In addition, you can find food and fresh water for yourself and up to five other people each day, provided that the land offers berries, small game, water, and so forth.
Ian and HDP also volunteer for a watch. Ian takes his time to set up an alarm around the campsite with some rope and bell. (not sure what you would like me to roll for that...)
Four watches. Rock is taking first watch. Glyn, you want to take first and second (each watch is two hours)? Then, Ian can take third and fourth and HDP can take third. Gruxx, do you want to take a watch?
This is the HP I have after the gnoll battle: Glyn, Rock and HDP are full, but Gruxx is at 10 and Ian is at 17. BEFORE YOU READ MORE OF THIS POST, please decide if you'd like to roll some hit dice. Since the gnoll battle, you'd have had at least one short rest and could have healed up if you wanted. If so, go ahead and roll your hit dice in a new post below and then finish reading this post.

Rock and Glyn stay up as the others bed down soon after sundown. Both the dragonborn and elf are surprisingly tired after the long hours on the road and the fight with the gnolls. Rock is unaware, but Glyn actually "falls asleep" — which just means his mind is otherwise occupied with restfulness — sitting up. At the end of his watch, Rock sleepily says goodnight and quickly falls asleep without realizing Glyn isn't listening.

Around midnight, during second watch, Glynquinal, Herr Doktor Professor, Rock and Ian are woken rudely by being attacked at wolves! Of course, Gruxx is woken up as well, but because of the sounds of the attack.
Round 1 (all players are surprised, and none get to act this round as everyone was asleep)
Wolf1 attacks Glynquinal at advantage as he is prone (sitting): bite attack: 23, damage: 8 piercing damage
Wolves 2 & 4 attack HDP at advantage as he is prone (lying down): bite attack: 22, damage: 69 piercing damage & bite attack: 17, damage: 68 piercing damage — let's try those damage rolls again: 75 & 6
Wolf3 attacks Rock at advantage as he is prone (lying down): bite attack: 19, damage: 8 piercing damage
Wolf5 attacks Ian at advantage as he is prone (lying down): bite attack: 19, damage: 8 piercing damage
Catching their quarry unawares, the uber-stealthy canines bite down on their targets painfully. The wolves snarl and bear their teeth, clearly planning on making a meal of the party.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rock gets to his feet and, taking his great axe in hand, attempts to bite back, but the wolf dodges the attack and keeps coming.
Glynquinal comes out of his trance and quickly takes an offensive stance with both shortswords. He swings the weapons at his attacker, catching the wolf with the first strike, but missing with the second. The bloodied creature doesn't look like it's ready to back down. (wolf1-7 damage)
The wolf attacking Glyn takes advantage of the elf's pause after his second strike to bite at him again. (bite attack: 20, damage: 8 piercing damage, 14 damage total) The creature's teeth sing into Glyn's leg, causing blood to run.
Wolves 2 & 4 continue to tagteam the party's bard. (bite attack: 13, damage: 9 piercing damage — bite attack: 21, damage: 7 piercing damage) Now awake and aware, Herr Doktor is able to dodge the creatures' attacks.
Wolf3 lunges at Rock once again, going for the dragonborn's legs. (bite attack: 11, damage: 10 piercing damage) Rock uses his weapon to deflect the attack.
Wolf5 continues to harry Ian, who hasn't yet gotten to his feet. (bite attack: 13, damage: 7 piercing damage) Still groggy from his trance ending so abruptly, the elf is having trouble defending himself, and he suffers another bite.

Ian, still groggy from being shaken from his trance, is brutally attacked by a wolf, that brings him dangerously close to death before his brain catches up with what is going on.
Ian pulls out his potion of healing, and downs it to recover 5 hitpoints, and uses his bonus action to disengage, then move. Not sure of placement, but assuming we made camp off the path in a clearing in the woods, Ian locates the nearest climbable tree, and after disengaging with the wolf, takes off using his movement to get to the tree, and climb up as far as he can, hopefully out of reach of the wolves.
Herr Doktor Professor, annoyed at rudely being awakened from his beauty sleep, is roused by the attack. He snarls at the wolf, then jabs at him with his rapier (to hit, 13, damage 6), then calls out a quick little poem he learned as a child about wolves, and uses to inspire Gruxx. (Bardic Inspiration, for 10 minutes, the Gruxx can add 1d6 it to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw. This can be added after seeing the roll, but before knowing the outcome.)
Ian and HDP agree "Yes, lets find a spot to pull off. Gruxx, you can do your famous foraging. Maybe rustle up something good to eat tonight."
It is overcast and a fairly cold tonight.
Gruxx nods. "I'm on it!" he says.
Gruxx will take a handaxe and go hunting.

You don't need to roll for that.
Gruxx provides supper for everyone.

OOC: Glynquinal will join Rock on his watch.
Rock will use his goggles on watch
All you watchers, roll perception. Gruxx, if you are taking a watch, roll at disadvantage, please.
Gruxx will help on third watch.

Short sword 1 to hit 12
Damage for short sword 1 4
Short sword 2 to hit 4

Gruxx will definitely take short rest opp. 2 Hit Die: 20
Ian, roll either athletics or acrobatics to see if you succeed in climbing a tree.
Gruxx, you can go ahead and take your turn. Identify your target (you can attack any of the wolves). You have been inspired by HDP.
