(The boy is a human, the girl and her brother are goblins.)
The boy shakes his head, "I...I don't know. They wore cloaks and never took them off. I just know they were humans, veldakin, or one of the elves, not the Loxodon or Minotaurs. I heard some yelling and a fight going on after the elf chased them, but didn't want to leave Lano and Risa alone." Lano, the goblin on the floor is stable and is unconscious for a short while.
The voda nods as she nurses a bud, coaxing it to bloom. "Welcome, Throom, Thwuut, and Aelar. How are you all on this wonderful day?" Throom gives a small bow of his head and then a smile, "Although there were some trouble, I'm happy to see those that choose to help me are not hurt. But it saddens me to say that the recent trouble in the forests near here are due to a Gruul clan. A shaman from the Skaarg clan, collecting venom from the spiders there. The spiders have layed claim to their bodies but I've managed to bring back one of their own. I've asked for the votaries to watch over him."

Kieryl nods as he heads down the alleyways.
Hormir finds some more pieces of the cloak, enough make out a Rakdos symbol. Although it is patchy in various places as if it was burned by something. Kieryl jogs back, waving towards you, "I've found a trail of blood. It leads out of the alley and towards one of the houses. I tried to look through the window but it was too dark inside there though I can definitely hear something or someone going about in there."
A man only in red breeches with bizarre tattoos going about his chest sits on the floor, cards spread out before him. He grins widely as he picks a card up and shows it to the few onlookers he has. He then tosses it up as it combusts in mid air. It wows the small crowd as he beckons them to silence themselves, drawing attention back to him. He opens his mouth and sticks his fingers into them, pulling out the same card as the one that caught fire.
(The squad has not caught up yet. The last place you saw them was the street where the horses rid through. The civilians there are mostly likely complaining or reporting what happened there.)
"Thank you, Voda." Twuut gives a solemn bow. "We do what we can for the enclave. We found some samples of what they were looking for, which Throom has collected."
"I may not be a member of the conclave, but you know that my family and I are always willing to help," Aelar says, following Twuut's lead." I'm in between contracts now and would be more than willing to help."
"Normally I would," he looks down where he came from, "But I'm worried that we won't arrive in time. I'm going to go see if I can force that door open and find out who or what's in there." Kieryl heads back to where he went. You see that the sergeant is a bit ways and talking to a few locals. The sergeant seems to be trying to calm them down and shoo them away.
The man performs some more tricks dealing with fire. Setting his deck on fire, squeezing the ashes together and out comes a small creature. It roars its tiny voice as it climbs up the man's arm and settles on his shoulder. As the crowd disperses he notices that you've stayed, "Interested in my tricks, are ya?" He says as the small creature darts about his body.
The dark elf peers out to the streets, a worried look on his face as he starts to pace. "Almost had them...If only I was faster, now they're out there with the eggs and know we're after them. I'm such an idiot." He shakes his head in frustration as he turns to look towards the simic hybrid, "I'm sorry, I know the swarm is being harsh on you for being a hybrid and here I am messing up a chance to prove yourself."
Throom hands the two bottles to the Voda. She peers into the potions and even slips a finger into one. Her eyes seem to change colors as she starts taking the potion into her. She shakes its off as she sets them aside. "Yes, one of the bottles hold a portion of the spider's venom, although the other one is the same but altered. I felt it try to paralyze me from the first but the other seemed to have stirred me. It seems they were brewing some sort of potion from the venom although why are they antagonizing them...Throom, perhaps we may be able to find out more from the clansman you have brought. Please see to it. And I thank the both of you for assisting the vernadi. Especially you Thwuut for staying with Throom when the clan lashed out. A small gift to you." A branch reaches out and on it hangs a small bag.
(The squad has not caught up yet. The last place you saw them was the street where the horses rid through. The civilians there are mostly likely complaining or reporting what happened there.)
Gallias takes a moment to ponder what to do next. Out of options, his training kicks in to remind him that, if anything, he should report back to his commanding officer.
'I'm with the Azorius.'Gallias shows the human boy his insignia. 'We'll get you and your friends the help you need.' He crouches down near the unconscious goblin boy. We'll go find my squad and get your friend medical aid.'
As he lifts the goblin up, Gallias silently curses the fact that he frequently skipped out on going to the gym. Lucky for him, a goblin child does not weigh much but he does make a mental note of working out more often. 'Your brother will be all right.' He softly says to the goblin girl in the Goblin tongue. 'Please follow me and stay close.'
With the goblin in his arms and the other two following him, Gallias makes his way out of the alley and back to the street where he reckon his squad should be.
"You are too kind, Voda." Thwuut will graciously accept the gift. "And of course I would never abandon one of our own. The enclave protects and nourishes."

Blitzen smiles as artlessly as he can.
"You are very good. But I'm more interested in whether you know about a certain piece of equipment belonging to my new superior. A sort of electric gauntlet?" Blitzen studies the man's face as he speaks, trying to get a read on him.
Yevna looked Varis in the eyes, her emerald green eyes holding his gaze. It is not a fault of yours my friend, I was the one not here to help. Now those surface dwellers have escaped. Yevna’s fine features resembled those of the Devkarin, with pale skin and dark black hair. However on close inspection Varis could make out gills on either side of her throat. Did any of the surface dwellers that attacked you look distinctive? Scars, symbols, tattoos...anything? We need to get to them before they can harm or sell the egg.

Throom gives a short bow before leaving the voda, beckoning you both to follow him. "Well...how hard can it be to convince a clansmen about their plan, I suppose it shouldn't be too hard. That shaman did just blatantly said he was in the forest for the venom." Throom says as he begins to descend down.
