 "Begone, foul creature!" Sssyd cries, as he swings his scimitar, aiming for a wing and hoping to at least hobble the gargoyle.

The gargoyle 's wings are torn and it's hide is scarred, but it fights on, making two savage attacks on Donaar.

Neither Donaar's nor Merzin's attacks are clean enough to inflict damage.

Sssyd hisses as he takes another swing at the gargoyle.

Frustrated with this creature, he snaps his jaws at it.  (Bonus action)

Sssyd's savage onslaught fails to break the stony hide.

Aegean!

Having had little luck with any of his magic, Aegean tries a different tactic, darting in to stab at the creature with his rapier while his cat continues to hiss in the thing's face to distract it, leaving it sheathed in booming energy if it hits.

Booming Blade Attack: 25 Damage: 9, takes an additional 5 damage if it moves on it's next turn.

The gargoyle staggers from the blow but recovers. Launching itself up to the ceiling (everyone gets an opportunity attack and Booming Blade deals an additional 8 damage), the creature rips free a chunk of stone which plummets into your midst.

If the gargoyle survives the opportunity attacks you must all make Dexterity Saves.

As the gargoyle launches upward, Sssyd swings mightily as it passes by.

Attack: 12 Damage: 8 and another 6 if it hits and the gargoyle keeps moving (which, presumably if it's jumping to the ceiling it can't stop.)

The gargoyle scrabbles vainly at the ceiling and then falls.

Aegean mutters and shakes his head.  "Bout time," he says, then turns to survey the room around them.
