Dagon nods in agreement with the Aarakocra's statement.
"Yes, I agree pack mate. I do have these," The half-orc pats his satchel and the unmistakable sound of metal jingling within can be heard, "animal traps that I can place behind some doors, or if any of you have other ideas or options, I am open to those as well."
"What about those barrels in the other rooms. Place those near the doors for a nice explosion. After we help ourselves to a little nip of course." Perry says with a smile

Humphry tells his teammates of the dangers he sees, "Th-th-th-three of us can k-k-keep watch at the three other doors." He looks over to the barrels of booze, "I d-d-don't believe alcohol comb-b-busts fast enough to c-c-c-cause any significant exp-p-plosion. Other than th-that and those traps I think we'll be f-f-f-f-fine." Humphry then moves to the eastern most door on the south wall and begins listening for anything out of the ordinary coming from whatever lays beyond. Perception 21
(If we make it through the short rest Humphry uses Arcane Recovery, allowing him to regain one 2nd level spell slot)
His eyes going wide, Humphry graps a small length of copper wire from his component pouch and puts it to his mouth like he's blowing on a grass whistle and casts Message. He sends the following message to Dagon: "Don't look now, but I think there's a whole shitload of monsters behind the door I'm at. What do we do?"

"Alright let's get to it." Kic will say as he goes over and marks near the door Humphry said was trapped "this one is Perry's favorite", then make his way over to the south west wall and see if he can hear anything.
Dagon's eyes grow wide and the marauder whips his head back and forth for a moment, apparently taken aback by both the gnome's voice unexpectedly in his mind and the substance of his words. The warrior quickly spies Humphry at the easternmost door to the south and he frowns darkly, worried for his companion's safety being that close to the door if what he heard was in fact just behind it.
"We lock it." The half-orc rumbles quietly under his breath, hoping that his response can reach his pack mate through whatever eldritch means the gnome managed to send it. "Lock it and barricade it somehow, and we keep a close eye on it while we rest."
Dagon will then quietly make his way over toward where Kic is inspecting the south wall, and very low, the half-orc will say, "We have a problem, pack mate. The little hunter has discovered a swarm of enemies beyond that door." The warrior will gesture toward the indicated danger, "We need to secure that somehow. Perhaps Perry can make sure the door is locked, and we can stack those barrels behind it like he mentioned as well. Or we can brace the door with the bodies of the slain Orc and Orog. Either way," Dagon's expression is ominous and fierce, though the energy expended in the previous fight causes him to look slightly winded, "we must be cautious. If they hear us and decide to frenzy at the door, they could very well break through it before we are ready for a battle of that size."
Kic nods and looks over to where Humphry is then over to Perry who now looks upset for some reason. "If you haven't told Perry yet, see if he also needs some medicine he looks constipated."

Dagon will nod very solemnly and proceed carefully over to where Perry is standing, convey the same information, and suggest that the monk chew upon the undergarments of their fallen enemies for fiber if he is backed up. It's an old tribal remedy, the half-orc assures him.
Humphry wasn't sure if it was a joke lost in translation or just some stress induced bout of extremely awkward humor, but he shook his head and tried to ignore Dagon's comments. "Perhaps it would b-b-b-be better to take our rep-p-prieve in a different chamber, hmm?"

Perry hums in response to Kic and Dagon, ignoring the comments and suggestions as he moves toward the door with tools out to check of its locked. If not, attempt to do so.

"If we can't lock it, I say we barricade it. This is definitely the best room to hold up in."
"I agree. This room has its dangers but allows more room for error and strategy." Kic says as he begins to Help Dagon setup traps at the doors. Looking at Dagon, "Can we use these as well with those traps so they work together?" lifting up some rope and oil flasks. (hopefully dangling them above the door so that when the door opens or the trap is engaged they will fall and shatter on the unsuspecting victim)

All of the doors appear safe save the northmost door on the east wall, which is outfitted with a falling block trap.

Through the door Humphry can hear a low moaning, as of a hundred voices in unison.

Perry glares at Kic.
( based on Kic's perception he's oblivious to the glare lol)

Humphry does his best to quietly back away from the door to the center of the room for the time being. Stealth 14

Perry finds no way to lock the door.
