"yea. Want to bottle neck it at the door and corridor? I can try to open it quietly and fly back as soon as I open it then let it come to us" Kic says.
"Yes pack mates, let what ever it is stumble into our jaws. We will have the advantage by baiting it to fight on our terms."
The hulking marauder takes a position also approximately twenty feet from the door, making sure that he is facing the opening fairly head on. He reaches up and grabs a javelin from the quiver hanging across his broad back, hefting the projectile for a brief moment to get a feel for the weapon's balance and ergonomics. Satisfied, the warrior plants himself and assumes a throwing stance, leveling his throwing spear directly at the door in preparation to ambush what ever it is that might be lurking on the other side.

Agreeing with the others of Chimera, Perry would swap his quarterstaff for a long bow and fly up to the ceiling before notching an arrow and taking aim at whatever might be waiting behind the door.

Seeing that there were two enemies instead of one, Humphry will remove a hot pepper from his component pouch and stuff it into his mouth, and slap his hand over his stomach, casting Dragon's Breath on himself as a Bonus Action (choosing the damage type to be fire). He'll then get close enough to the shambling corpses to blast them with a 15 foot cone of fire as his action, and he'll use the rest of his movement to run back behind one of his teammates.
Both foes must make a DC 13 Dex Saving throw. On a success they take half damage.
"I was expecting some kind of theme at least.." Perry shooting another arrow, aiming at the ghoul who seems to stagger slightly, hopefully closer to death.
Kic will mark the intersection so we will know which way we've come from. "Wanna check the door Humphry?" pointing to the northern corridor.

The ghast dives out of the way, regains it's feet, and continues the mad rush without breaking it's stride.
