Meanwhile, Rivoril feels an unseen evil force surge through his body. Controlling him, using him his friends being no longer recognizable. He finds himself powerless to resist, he lashes out. With an unholy hatred to those closet to him.
The healing magic restoring most of his health, Kixarn casts mage armor on himself to try and shield his body from any more attacks- foe or friend! An additional thread of the magic envelopes Korvus as well, making the bird even harder to hit.

She nods at Ghanima. " Hopefully we run into this Bastion and Avan soon....Both groups could use the extra numbers. " She studies her new companion curiously as they walk along. Why does she always have her hood up?
Katharina and Ghanima both head towards the big opening in the wall of the stronghold. As they near it they can see that it curves inward to the right as it goes downward. You can see there was a battle around the opening of late as burnt trolls. You follow the passageway down until you come upon a opening leading to a large room. Across the room you can see some horses and a female half elf standing near them watching a hole in the far wall that leads deeper into the caverns.
Main group Rivoril goes to shoot again and bastion hits him with the flat of his blade hard dealing 3 actual damage and 33 stun damage. Rivoril needs to roll a fortitude save or lose consciousness. Bastion then attacks the Creature before him causing it to become gaseous and it starts to float towards the door. The one in the far corner looks at bastion Will saving throw again DC 14. The one by Rivoril looks at Avan as he advances towards Rivoril too. Avan needs to make another saving throw DC 14 still. Meanwhile Kixarn needs to make a saving throw vs hold person spell. DC is a 15 on that. The Jackal hits the creature on the table as does a flaming sphere but it is stil up and attacks the jackal Hitting it for 9 damage and it needs to make a charisma saving throw DC 14 or lose constitution points as well as a level.

Katharina studies the signs of a previous battle. Seeing the half elf and the horses she assumes they are getting close to the other group. She walks through the opening into the room not trying to hide her presence. " Well met, traveler. We seek to help another group that came through here. Do you know a Bastion and Avan? if so, do you know where we can find them here? We wish to help save this village as well. " She holds her hands down at her side in a non threatening position.
I hope my attack against Rivoril's bow also went off. (though I don't think I would want to if Bastion knocks him out first, depends on order of action and whether or not they're simultaneous)
And the Jackal would get an attack for Deanna casting, unless she took a 5-foot-step or did so defensively.
Avan feels the intrusion into his mind, but he turns to placid thoughts of moonlight over nature.

"Excellent work, now we can't let Deanna waste all her spells here!"
Just checking how my saves went for now. I'm going to reserve my action for once Bastion's save resolves (not sure what his initiative is, mine is 17). And to check if Deanna had indeed moved last turn.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Bastion shakes off the effect once more and turns his attention to the creature in the corner behind Rivoril. He calls out "Which one is affecting Deanna? Maybe she'll snap out of it if its defeated?!"

Arilynia seeing the travelers approach, she is caucuses but hears them out when one of them approaches closer and speaks. She calms the horses as the new arrivals seem to have startled them a bit. She is standing by her own mare as one of them speaks.
She listens to what this stranger says before she herself speaks. Upon hearing the names of the leaders of the group she was with, Arilynia answers, " Yes, I know of Bastion and Avan. They will want to know as to what do you have to offer as way of help? "
Arilynia will wait for a response before she states as to which direction they went while she stayed with the horses. She was worried about her companions as she could hear the distant sounds of want she thought was a battle. She did not show that she was worried on her face though, she learned long ago to keep some of her feelings hidden from showing.
Katharina smiles coldly at this stranger. " I offer death from the darkness..." she twirls her kukris rapidly around. " I also can help scout and ambush. My companion has quite the way with undead. We have taken out a lot already without a scratch on us. " She nods towards Ghanima to give her a chance to speak if she wished.
"I think the one on the table, but not sure!" Avan goes over to his named target placing himself such that he's also threatening Deanna in case she casts a spell (probably AA45 if Deanna had moved north, or AA46 if not).
If Deanna had not moved so far and Avan only takes a 5-foot-step, Flaming Sphere against table guy:
Fire Damage: 8
He attacks the creature on the table simultaneous to the Jackal's slightly-harder-but-less-precise bite (Power attack -2/+4, flanking already added).
Ghanima looks sternly at the half elf, for the first time she sees the dimly glowing eyes. "Undead are an unnatural evil that have no place in this world. When their presence is not encountered, I follow the road to find where a cleric like myself can be of most use. At this this time it appears I am needed here."
Arilynia looking at the newcomers, relaxes a bit more and moves away from where the horses are(AI 21) and speaks once again.
" I agree with you that the Undead are not of this world and should be dealt with, along with any other creature who wishes to harm the innocent. Bastion and Avan, are the Leaders of this group. I am Arilynia, a Ranger by trade. I can guide you down this opening behind me if you wish to find the others and offer your assistance. Having another Cleric would be most helpful as well as another fighter. " She gives them a small nod once she states the last and waits for any response from the strangers.
Katharina, Ghanima and Arilynia meet up and talk for a bit before Arilynia starts to lead them down a small narrow passageway that leads away from the bigger opening.

Bastion is able to knock Rivoril out so he can not do any more damage. Avan and the jackal attack the one that was getting off the table and it turns to gaseous form and starts to head out the door as the other one is doing. Dena snaps back to herself and looks a bit traumatized that she attacked those she was helping. She walks towards the doorway. Bastion is able to attack the one by Rivoril turning it to gaseous form too. This leaves the one in the far corner that has moved up some and tries attacking bastion. It is able to get a hit on Bastion he loses one level of experience. plus he takes 8 points of damage.
Avan rolls the Flaming Sphere at the last one and moves up to it. The jackal charges in for a powerful bite (P.A. -3/+6, charge +2 bonus added, AC 13 this round).
Kixarn tries to run for the door and get ahead of the fleeing undead, not trying to force his protection against them, but trying to be a cork in the bottle of the room. Taking yet another potion from his arsenal, he deliberately smashes it on the floor in front of the door so that the area is engulfed in flames!
OOC - just to be clear, moving to be a door they can't easily move past, and making the area they are floating in covered fire without attacking them directly. If Kixarn gets hit by the fire, that's okay. From the map, he just takes a single step and smashes the flask next to him. If the door is 10' wide, he'll be in one side and fire the other, trying to include at least one of the gas clouds. Alchemists fire burns for a few minutes, from various sources. 2 damage per turn. d4 damage per turn.

Bastion strikes back at the last of the creatures, hard, mystified at the smoke trick they're pulling, but unable to do much about it.
Replenished maneuvers last round, so using Mountain hammer to add extra damage to this strike. I assume by "one level of experience" you mean one negative level, and adjusting appropriately.
