Whilst unimpressed with the accuracy of his spittle, he was impressed that it took the form it did. Trying to replicate the acid, he spits another blob but this time at the fleeing cultist. But as it rushes past the cultist, there is a large crack of thunder as it impacts into the wall.
Vruuk steps farther into the room, focusing on his target. Just as he is about to let loose his arrow a piece of broken door slides under his foot and he stumbles forward, firing the arrow into the face of the burning corpse on the ground.
Cinders launches a violent vibrating blob through the air that slams into the wall with an ear shattering crack of thunder! The sound of the thunder echos down the hallways with enough forces that it shakes dust from the wooden supports and causes the gravel and small rocks on the floor to jump and rattle until the thunderous shockwave dissipates.
Battle of the storage room........
Cinders Pokim Carmir Cultist1 = really dead... like.. on fire / crushed / arrow to the face. Cultist2 = Also very dead, stuck on a pike Cultist3 Vruuk
OOC: So one cultist 3 moved 30 feet away from he previous location.. so we will say he is 40 feet from the prone bugbear. The other cultist moved forward 5 feet, attacked / got AOO and left, moving a total of 25 feet away from the prone bugbear. Since it takes half your movement to stand up from prone, I don't think you would be able to get close enough to his to the closest cultist... although.. because I would think you would be 10 feet away... but your Pike does have reach right? So if someone can confirm that you would still be close enough I will say it hits :D
Pokim manages to impale the cultist as he attempts to hobble away. The pike bursting through the mans chest as he is speared from behind by the outstretched bugbear.
Carmir is up! There is one cultist remaining who is about 50 feet away from you (I assumed you were behind Pokim)
"Oh ... dear," Carmir remarks more to himself than any of the others at the sight of Pokim shish kabobbing the fleeing cultist. "Uh ... er ... in ... incendio," the tiefling says desperately, making a quick gesture with one of his hands. A sudden blaze erupts in front of the other fleeing cultist (hopefully cutting off his escape route).
(OOC: My post didn’t load so I’ll have to do it again - sigh)
”Pok’im Mon pok’im good and proper”Pok’im chortles. Not realising that the cultist is dead, he lifts his pike so it’s body slides down towards him where he roars into its face “what yuh do wit Pok’im’s Ma and Pa?” Not surprisingly he doesn’t get an answer.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The cultist increases his speed after hearing the cry of his fellow follower as he is stabbed through with the pike. Glancing backwards for just a moment, he would turn his had forward just in time to see a wall of flames erupt in front of him. Without time to stop, the silver robed figure leaps through the flames (17 dex save) Somersaulting through the air and through the fire before landing on his feet on the other side and continuing to dash down the hall and around a corner before you hear him shout. "FILTHBOODS!! ATTACKING FROM THE MINE!!"
(He dashed an additional 60 feet, but disappeared around a corner about 40 feet from where he started)
Just as the cultist rounds the corner, each of you can hear a few shouts and heavy footsteps. You are not sure if it was the loud clap of thunder or the cultist yelling but you are pretty sure that there are a large number of people heading your way...
Vruuk is up! We can either end combat or we can continue in combat initiatives since you all might be in combat again very soon..... You can hear people coming and are not sure how long you have before they arrive... you don't know how many there are.
Vruuk grimaces, divided between his own faulty shot and seeing where it landed. Before he can properly come to terms he turns wide-eyed hearing the rumble further down the hall. Mustering his resolve, the bugbear readies to send an arrow down the hall at the first cultist to break past the corner. Though if Pok'im is too big to fire freely, he trades his bow for handaxes and charges forward to stand just behind his brother. "Get ready, yaw'll. They coming. Might have to close the passage somehow it things get too bad."

Wreckers, I have an idea, but I need to know what the walls are like here. Are we in caves (rough, uneven surfaces), or are we in man-made rooms and halls that are stacked stone or smoothly carved rock? And, aside from my merrily-burning bonfire, what's the lighting like?

Ugh, these rolls!
OOC: I was rather pleased with them myself... although I had hoped that Pokim would have taken more damage :D
(OOC: just you wait Henry Higgins, just you wait. One day we’ll get the numbers we want/need)

(@Wrecks: It does have reach, and bugbears have the long-limbed trait which extends their reach by 5ft on their turn when attacking. ^_^)

Pok’im just sets his pike ready to receive the charge saying “Pok’im Happy he get to poke more bad guys soon”
DM - Stopping a god in his tracks
Cinders just grins and waits for bad guys to appear.
