(this is the story as read by either Slate or Ruby to the children)
A long time ago, there was a beautiful woman with long flowing silver hair. Her name was Shektra… and she was one of the most kind and pure people in all the land. She was so beautiful and everyone liked her so much that people started to warship her. As more and more people began to warship her, she began to develop divine magical powers and her eyes started to glow with a radient white light. At first she only used those powers for good... but one day, a particularly handsome and charming follower caught her eye. His name was Greckar. The two of them fell in love and she kept a journal of their time together written in celestial. This journal became known as the Tome of Tears. She would spend lots and lots of time writing down her thoughts, her feelings, and about her new love. Often times when thinking about Greckar while writing in the journal, the pages would become stained with tears of joy. One day, Greckar asked Shektra to meet him under the full moon near a small oak tree planted in the center of their village. That night, Greckar revealed to her that he was actually a wereboar. The beautiful man transformed before her eyes and while appearing grotesque and pig-like tried to embrace the woman he loved but she could not do it. She pushed him away and ran off… leaving him alone under the tree. That night she wept tears of sorrow and rage into her journal. The following day she ordered her followers to capture Greckar, declaring him to be an evil monster but he was able to escape into the forest. The love inside of Shektra turned to hate… She believed that she had been lied to by a monster… and that all monsters were evil… Her once beautiful looks started to fade as she allowed herself to become more filled with anger, causing her to begin wearing a silver mask depicting a beautiful woman’s face. Shektra still wrote in her journal every night.. But now the writings were full of hate and anger.. Perverting the book and as she shed tears of anger into it... as she bound her soul to it. Over time, she became obsessed with purifying the land of all the creatures that she considered filthy... Ordering her followers to capture and kill anyone that she considered to be a filthblood. She succeeded in driving away any of the still good followers that remembered her as she was… As she used to be. One day, a pair of her followers that had seen what she had become managed to sneak into the Silver Mothers chamber and steal the now evil and powerful book of tears and hid it somewhere safe... When Shekra discovered the book was missing.. she became enraged and using her divine powers, killed countless followers for allowing someone to steal her book before she was ultimately defeated by the same pair of followers that had stolen her book… Those two followers knew that she had become the real monster… and after locating and making sure that Greckar was OK, they worked with him to ensure that all races were loved and cared for while also being forever vigilant to make sure that no one ever discovered the Book of Tears…. For it is said to contain the soul of Shekra.. the Silver Mother… and will try to convince anyone who possesses it to continue her work.

(Sorry. I apparently missed a lot of context post, so I didn't fully get where the story was about till just now. XD )
As the story plays back in mind, Vruuk's expression takes on a harsher countenance. Though Night Vruuk preps the arrow, he refrained from raising it for the shot. Instead, he tried to pick out what faces he could among the crowd to the best of his ability without getting any closer. If it however becomes clear that such would prove impossible, he settles in to continue watching the proceedings in silence until either the group dispersed, or his hour was up. Whichever came up first. But in the former's case, he attempts to next mark where the woman walks off to with the book before considering his next move.
Perception: 17. (If necessary. And if Investigation would be more appropriate, subtract 4 from the results)

Darastrix saw no reason to do much of anything as he watched the crowd of villagers harmlessly hang out. The lizardfolk considering leaving as he finishes off the rat. Despite the similarities to the story he was told as a youngin, it was their village to do as they pleased...
"Part of me wants to check out what they're up to, but mostly I just want to go home. Can we just skirt around them and get back home? I know it's a long way, bit I don't really want to go back to that barn, it stinks."
"Ash yuh rite. Dat Silva Mudda not a good lady. But Ma will tan our hides if we pick a fight wit all the Village. Pok'im tink we best just watch for now?" Pok'im says to both Ash and Kulzee
(those of you inside the walls of the town would know that while there is a pretty decent crowd of people there.. it is probably only between 5 - 10 percent of the town.. just in case anyone was thinking that the whole town served the silver lady)
All of the robed figures in attendance are also wearing hoods that cover their faces. Vruuk can tell that everyone in attendance is a dwarf, human, or elf based on exposed hands, body types, outlines of pointed ears against the hoods, and other minor details and assumptions.
"Silence everyone... Please return to your homes now and rest. Soon we may begin the process of purification... because it is only through purification of the land that we may have unification of the land..." The soothing voice will sing from behind the silvered mask, lowering the book and holding it close. As she does, four large hooded followers move up beside her and escort her across the town square and into what appears to be an old temple right in the middle of town. As she does this, the crowd begins to disperse as members seem to move down streets and alley ways laughing and chatting to one another as they make there way to their homes.
Shunting aside Temptation, Night Vruuk continues to lag behind just long enough to feel the alleys and roofs would be safe again to traverse. Warier now more than ever before, the bugbear moves with caution from whence he came, eventually scaling the wall again before making his way back to Haggard's farm. Where a nice, warm couch awaited Day Vruuk, and none save 'Pok'im were the wiser.

One hooded follower will make his way back to his house. The front door is about 20 ft. from the barrel Darastrix is hiding behind, still chewing up his mouse. The silver robe reflecting the moonlight as they approach their front door, and struggle to unlock the front door, pulling out their keys and holding each one up close to their face before placing a key in the lock.
Roll stealth Darastrix
(so what are the three of you that are still outside the gates doin?)
The figure, unlocking his door will look over towards the barrel and doesn't see anything at all before opening the door and moving inside, Once inside he would close and lock the door.

Ash just waits for the crowd to disperse and calms his siblings.
"We'll tell Ma about this but we promised to help," he adds in his whispering tone. "After they leave we go back to Hagger's. Agree?"
