OOC: What no roll to see if my AC beats them? It's 17 sheesh!!
yeah, I am still learning traps. I don't think you should have had any chance to dodge and instead it should have been just an attack vs your AC. dont you worry.. my NEXT TRAPS will be done differently :P
(I treated it like a huge cloud of arrows... so I could have said you got hit with 5 or 10 but it only was going to deal 1d8 damage. If you or anyone else had scored higher on the perception check, I would have said that the blood spatters on the walls seemed to line up with a plethera of little holes lining both sides of the hallway... also you would have seen the pressure plate... )
(Most traps are saves due to shear volume or nature, as they are typically designed to bypass armor (class) for the most part. Short of carrying hardy cover, something would hit eventually without more active evasive measures. Unless you are a rogue, monk, or (I think) ranger with evasion. If it was just the one or two crossbow though then sure... but eh, just my 2 cents.).
(Also, not all fey have darkvision. But dnd in general makes it feel as if EVERYTHING and their MOTHER has it. Funny and ridiculous... and also why some dms color code dangers in darkness to keep pcs on their toes.)
Vruuk actually got caught up in look at the sign. So it is with eyes wide that he turns to the sound of arrows that assailing his brother. "Uh.... Well... Seems Ma put some traps down here. Pok'im is kinda heart.. so is Ash." He looks to Ash. "Yaw gone be aight? Should I go get kit from the kitchen?" He asks, looking about ready to head back up the stairs.

"Would Ma do this? Maybe I should lead the way, I can keep an eye out for more traps?" Kulsee takes the lead if everyone is okay with it and is rrare to go.
Kulsee manages to spot two more pressure plates in the hall and points them out to her siblings. after about 30 feet she makes her way into a room about 20 x 20 feet wide with a 10 x 10 feet wide hole in the middle. As Kuksee approaches the side of the hole, she can see a number of sharp spikes and some kind of dark figure but she cannot see what it is exactly. she also sees another 10 foot wide hallway heading north out of this room.
You can see what looks like a silver robe reflecting some light back at you. It is partially wrapped up in a large grey dusty sheet that you assume had been covering the pit before the unsuspecting person recently stepped on it and fell in. There are multiple large spikes that have driven through the head, chest, stomach, and thighs of whoever it was that fell in the hole.

"This is gruesome," Ash says saying a prayer before holding the torch up and looking around some more for other signs as well as a way to void the hole.
Perception 9
Investigation 7
OOC: aaaaaaahhhhhhh aaaaahhhhh I hate these GD dice!!!!
Ash can see that there is a 5ft wide stone path around the perimeter of the hold that appears to be safe to walk around the hole. He can also see the entrance to another 10ft wide hallway and an engraving on the left wall at the opening to the hallway. As he tries to positing himself to read the engracing, one of his back hooves gets too close to the hole and he begins to slip and slams his head into the wall as he catches himself to keep from falling into the hole.
Vruuk had been following along quietly, but nervously behind his siblings. Whereas Ash and others looked about ready to move on from the figure down below, Vruuk gets to rubbing his chin in thought... and has a pretty bad idea. "I'm goin' see if they gots anything on'em."He says, fishing out some pitons. Then if he can get in close without triggering any other traps, he'll start making his way down using them, and whatever small footholds around.

Pok'im plucks the crossbow bolts from his side without even wincing and drops on them the floor.

OOC: TOTALLY kidding. I'm just confused is each bolt 3 or two bolts just 3 points?

Ash removes the bolts and tosses them aside. He follows behind Kulse.

**the dark figure is down in the hole?**
"Can someone shine a light down here?"
*** yes, not moving***
Ash follows Kulse avoiding where she says and then shines his mace over the hole.

Pok'im also steps carefully in the same areas as Kulzee saying "Pok'im likes playing hopscotch!" as he moves over to the hole and peers down.
