The limp body of one of the bandits continues to lay motionless. You know that before long he may wake up but for now the common looking fellow is just laying there.
Pok'im says hopefully to Vruuk "can Pok'im wake 'im up so yuh can ax'im questions?"Assuming Vruuk says yes, Pok'im grabs a bucket to empty it over the bandit's head but because it had already been emptied to put out the fire, all that floats out of it onto the bandit's face is a few ashes. "Neva min'" Pokim says to himself as he grabs the bandit by the shoulders and shakes him vigorously "Kook. Ka. Doodle. Do." he yells in the bandit's ear.
Pokim grabs the man and shakes vigorously. The bandits head whips back and forth a moment, before this slowly open. Once the bandit locks eyes with the hulking beast in front of him, he immediately begins trying to scramble away before quickly realizing his calf muscle is still rolled up behind his knee after a well placed arrow cut is achiles tendon. "Aaaagggghh! Let me go! No one was supposed to be here!" The man says wincing in pain as he tries to move away from the large bugbear.
"And where were they supposed to be, then?" Gin asked as she skittered over, her orange eyes reflecting the light unsettlingly. "Trust me," she said, offering a sharp toothed smile. "I'm your friend. And I want what's best for my friend. And what's best, is for you to answer. Some of my siblings can be a bit impatient to hear what they want to know." As she spoke, she wove a subtle enchantment into the words, making a small motion with her claws as she casts Charm Person on the bandit (12 WIS save).

Vruuk had been too caught up in recounting split, but he gives a nod that could be taken as a 'yes'. Either way, once he hears the man complaining the bugbear takes notice. He holds back on saying anything until after seeing Gin's spell in action. "And what yaw'll were hope'n would be here instead? Ma and Pa... they got us through, but it weren't like dey were rich or anything." He states, then frown thinking of the extravagance just beneath their feet.

Cinders takes his pile of coins and if no one wants it, he will put the ring on his finger.
He then pays half attention to the interrogation, Keen to learn what happened to the rest of his family but his attention is also occupied by Vignar who he petting and talking to Draconic, aiming to get the mastiff used to the language.
Before the Orphanage, Cinders spent some time with a travelling troupe of performers. One thing he recalls from spending time with the animal handler, is if you repeat key words in whatever training language you want to use, the animal will become more accustomed to that language and it will help with the training.
DM: if you want any rolls for this let me know
Draconic Speakers:
Whilst petting the Mastiff, you will recognize words such as good boy.
(So basically what I am thinking is the first 5 times you ask the dog to do something, youbwill need to do an animal handling check, after 5 successes you no longer need to make a check. after you teach the dog 3 things total that no longer require you to make a check, I will grant you proficiency in animal handling. sound fair?)
"Don't hurt me alright!" the panicked man will cry out. As the goblin talks to him he will calm down a bit, trying to scoot around on the floor to position himself closer to the goblin... and trying to put the goblin in between himself and the others. "Look... my friends and I were enjoying a drink at the bar when a lady came by and asked if we wanted to make some quick coin... said we could take what we wanted from the empty house as long as we torched it when we were done" he says quickly, holding his throbbing leg. "Said all you filthbloods had left town and that the land was here now... said she wanted this plot of land wiped clean... ... I didn't ask questions, I just needed some money" he says trying to grab at the goblin, his eyes pleading.
"Had you seen this woman before? Describe her...now" seeing the reaction Veng sheathes his blade as he talks and sits to appear less threatening. (Persuasion 7 )
Vruuk had given a disapproving look, but restrained it to just that. At a moment's notice he was ready to at least try to hold Pok'im back from doing anything rash. Emphasis on try... "And why yaw'll didn't just turn back when yaw'll saw some of us still there?"

The man would hold up his hand to cover his face as Pokim growls before looking to Veng. "Look, I didn't see her face..." The man will say quickly, his eyes darting around the room looking as though looking for exits or more creatures... "She was wearing a fancy cloak... kind of like some of them wear that go to the big church in the center of town... only fancier than normal... the hood came down far enough I didn't see what she looked like." The man says as he tries to pull himself up on one of the nearby chairs next to the dining table.
As Vruuk asks his question, the cowardly man replies "The lady said she owned it... she said no one should be in there... I thought maybe you were squatters or bandits. I was trying to scare you all off... why do you think I was firing my crossbow close but not actually landing any shots." he says pointing towards the crossbow bolts embedded in the walls. "She said anything we wanted in the house was ours and we were going to get paid for burning the place to the ground."
(We will see what everyone else rolls but so far Pokim Thinks he is telling the truth about everything where Veng is PRETTY DANG SURE that the man is lying about missing with those crossbow bolts on purpose... The changling thinks the guy is telling the truth about everything else he has said so far.)
OOC between seeing him up close and talking, plus the good insight roll giving an understanding could I attempt to pass as him specifically using both racial and rogue skills
(you would be able to disquise the way you look no problem, I have to see about your voice but we can have you roll for that if needed lol. I would imagine you could make your body the same height and build as him right? I have to look at what it says about changlings. If you can you could steal his clothes lol)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

”Glad you understand we’re on the same team,” Gin said, nodding sagely. “This woman you’re talking about was certainly trying to put you and your friends in danger,” she said in a soothing tone, smiling warmly. “You said she wanted to pay you for burning the building. Did she pay you before hand, or was she going to meet with you somewhere? It’s crucial you tell us. So we can protect you from this woman. Alright?”

At the term filthblood, Pok'im growls.
