(I like to think that it happened in the middle of him taking off his clothes and answering questions... just struggling to take off his pants and a dog attacks.)
The dog, hearing Cinders words will stop a moment... look at the kobold and then back to the man... bite him again quickly before flopping on his back with his tail wagging expecting a belly rub. He is laying in a slowly growing pool of blood on the kitchen floor

(Haha it would be a funny sight! I almost feel sorry for him)
Cinders just shakes his head and mutters "Daft dog." he doesn't move and just keeps pointing at the ground. "Come here" he tries again, repeating the command in Draconic.
Pok'im looks over at dog and gives a quick whistle holding out his hand so the dog can give it a sniff before carefully reaching down to scratch it between the ears. "Good puppy" he says.
Vruuk hasn't stopped trying to pull his fur out ever since the dog attacked the man. "So much blood... Pa's gonna kill us."He complains morosely, shaking head. After big old sigh, Vruuk wordlessly gets to work carrying the body back outside with the rest. "Ohh… It's getting everywhere now."He lets out a closed mouth moan as he looks back to the blood. "Yaw'll aughta get somethin' together to burn 'fore dat signal, if'n yaw'll still plan'n to go." He says, shoots the mastiff one last disapproving look, and then continues carrying the body out.

"I'll get started. Oh, and Vruuk! Put that somewhere far away, the last thing we need right now is to be blamed for that. Even if it technically is sort of kind of our fault," Gin said. With that, she crossed the kitchen and climbed up, hopping out the open window. She started scavenging for dry wood and brush, hoping to get a large smokey bonfire going a safe distance from the house and the trees. Survival (for the bonfire): 16

Gin makes her way around the house and grabs logs from a large pile of wood that Father uses in the fireplaces and stove in the house as well as a number of other larger logs and sticks from the surrounding woods. Before long she has a fairly large pile of wood stacked up out in front of the house in the middle of the dirt clearing where the road ends in front of their home. (are you tossing the bodies on there?)
(well I mean... they are normal human sized bodies and you have large bugbears, a centaur, a tiny goblin, a lizardfolk with a tail... I mean.. it is possible lol! if they don't think about it too much :D)
"I s'pose it could be smart to burn the bodies, but I just want to make sure we have enough smoke going to signal that woman." Gin said, adjusting the straps of her backpack as she stoked the fire with a stick. Probably would've been smarter to ask Cinder for help, but she got antsy when she wasn't doing things. "Does anyone know where that inn was? Since Veng and I can both change how we look, we can interrogate the woman while you all wait outside," she suggested.

(You could always look for other things to throw on the fire other than wood and bodies to make lots of thick smoke, Also each of you have been in town a few times so anyone that wants to roll a survival check for me to see if you can remember the path through town to get to where the tavern would be may do so.)
Stealth: 20. (Only applicable if they carry through on sneaky into town)
Vruuk has a less than pleased look about him at the suggestion of burning the bodies. But with little more than a heavy sigh, he got to adding them carefully to the pile before it started, and spent at least a few moments possibly with Ash giving them last rites. Though in his case, they were muttered and half-remembered verses than proper rites spoken by priest of Torm.
Whatever loot isn't taken, Vruuk will see to it that its hidden in the floorboards or buried close to the woods to be grabbed later.
"I.... hmm... I think I know where that place is. Don't know why, but... I think I know." Vruuk expresses as much, and will offer any details he can to those going into town. As for him, as soon as they start to get close he'll stop short. Before then he says, "Pok'im, and I... I don't think its a good idea fer us to go in, if'n we're try'na fool'em. Way I see it, we can try to sneak in and stick to the alleys and roof, I guess. But, me and Pok'im especially gonna stick out like sore thumbs. But we can do try. And if Cinder and Gin wanna do the whole trench coat prank thing again, they should be good to do."
Vruuk then looks to Dara, Ash, and Kulsee (assuming she hasn't beaten feet to the farm) with wary looks.

The dog gets up, hanging his head a little as he realizes he isn't getting a belly rub.
(so what is everyone up to now lol!)

The large mastiff wags its tail and gives the bugbear a lick.

Cinders calls out after Gin who has run off. "Just get plenty of stuff to burn and I can get a big fire going in no time!"

Veng will suggest it, hopefully if someone comes to check they'll think the charred bodies are us

Burn to a crisp, just bones left like a macabre jig saw puzzle. They'd not likely try and reassemble
(True lol)
So you now have dead bodies and a pile of wood. A lead as to who sent the bandits as well.
