"Ya dats where Pok'im pulled the plow and got da box of toys. Dey was good toys" Pok'im remembers. "Ya reckon we should go back and talk to 'im - Vruk?"
Vruuk just shrugs at first, and then looks to the ground while tugging at his suspenders. Given a moment or two to think, he straightens out and nods. "Maybe. Maybe not. We still aughta go talk to'em. Let'em know what 'appen with er'rebody here. Pops might not be good at show'n it sometimes, but... but he's good people."

An Alchemy Jug? She could make poison! Acid! Mayonnaise! That had to come in handy somehow! She tucked the jug back into her bag eagerly. Either way, it meant never going hungry again, even if she had to subsist exclusively on mayo, honey, and wine. "Are we all going, or do we want anyone to stay behind and work on digging this out?" she asked curiously, standing up. She wasn't volunteering to stay—she'd pick talking over manual labor any day.

"But we don't want to abandon this project, incase the letter leads to nothing. Is someone happy to stay here and help me dig whilst you guys investigate tbe letter?"
"If you gon' be okay 'ere by yer self fer a bit..."Vruuk says worriedly. "I'd stay too, but... well... At least one of us gotta look out fer the scrawny ones. Not that they know the way anyhow.." He smiles sheepishly, and pointedly avoids meeting the other's gaze. Then, if noone else seemed up to debate the course, Vruuk makes sure to give Pok'im a firm pat on the shoulder for good luck on their way out to the farm.

So Pokim and Cinders continue to work clearing the tunnel. Progress has been going pretty well on clearing all the dirt and rubble and you think that by tomorrow morning you should have the path cleared.
Veng, Gin, and Vruuk head off towards town once more, knowing that old man Haggers house was on the other side of town. Last time you visited Hagger's place it took about two hours to reach his house because you guys went around town instead of through town. As the familiar sight of the eastern gate of SleeptyTimbers becomes visible once more, what does everyone do?
Before the group would step into proper viewing range, Vruuk speaks up. "Welp. I'm taking the express way. They still ain't no I'm still around yet, and I'd like to keep it that way fer a bit longer." Vruuk smiles sheepishly at his siblings. "I'll meet'cha on the other side, and don't worry. I'll be keep'n an eye on ya." If none have anymore to say at that point, Vruuk makes his way over to his usual point of egress.

The large bugbear makes a loud racket once as he climbs over the wall and lands on a trashcan on the other side, much like his brother the last time they scaled the wall. This time however the old woman makes her way to the window in time to spot you. "Hey! Who are you! Were you the one climbing on the wall the other day! You get out of here you overgrown rug!" The old woman yells loudly, prompting a few other people to look down the alley and see what is going on. "Is that the guy that caused all those problems last night?... I think he ruined my pie yesterday! i think he is magic!' a few of them whisper as you duck down another alley and quickly scale the building and make your way across the rooftops. As you do, you see a few guards walk around looking up to check for giant bears on the rooftops but they fail to see you.
