"Ok so either we take a wereboar on the streets or we take the tunnel. I suggest we see if it leads towards home, we know the general direction. If nothing else we should be safe for the night." Veng looks to his siblings and then to the old wereboar "do you have a torch to spare?"
The whole time everyone was talking, Vruuk had been silently glaring at them while tearing into lamb leg. And the more they talked over or down to him, the more viciously he tore it apart. Eventually, there's nothing left but chunks of bone and meat too tiny to bother with licking off the floor. The same could be said of his patience. "Piss off, Veng. I go where I wish."He says gruffly as he stands up and stands up to start sniffing around. "Where's the rest of it, old man? I'm taking some for the road."Vruuk only has the patience to wait maybe half a minute. After which he starts nearly ransacking the kitchen for anything meaty and/or bloody to fill his gullet.
Only after taking a hefty bite out of something does he start for the door saying, "Let's move, people! We ain't got all night."
(So Haggers house was at one time a very nice house but has not been kept up for some time. It sits about 20 minutes outside of town (west of town). There is no tunnel under this house, the map shows that under the church that you entered disquised as a dwarf sits on top of where the main silvermine for Sleepy Timbers had been located. The map also shows that your home (The orphanage) was built on the location of a second smaller silver mine. )
As the hybrid bugbear-boar begins to raise his voice to Hagger, Hagger will let out an angry snort as the old mans eyes harden "Excuse me BOY but that is not the right tone to take with yer elder!" The old man will snap with a snort, Haggers own tusks glinting in the lantern light. "I'll get ya some more food when ya ask nicely! You better learn to control yerself or I'll put ya down myself. You asked for this now don't be an ass hole!" Hagger would say moving to block Vruuk from the kitchen.
Vruuk lets out a breathe so heated out of his nose, it appears as jets of steam. But after huffing and puffing for close to a good minute, all the while glaring daggers at the old man, a rumbling grumble turns into a grudging sounding, "I would like more food... Pleease." As the last word left Vruuk's mouth, the tension eases back from his shoulder and eyes. Not enough to be considered truly calm, but getting as close as he is likely to get until he gained further control over the beast. "I'm... sorry... Mr.... Haggard... Sir." He adds through clenching and unclenched teeth as if the phrase physically pained him to say.

A small grin will spread across the old mans face. "Sure" the old weathered were-boar would say with a nod before heading to the kitchen and returning with a slab of raw salted ribs and leg of a large goat, handing them to Vruuk instead of tossing it on the ground. "That curse is just that... a curse... but with time I think you will learn to control it and may even be able to use it for some good... I am hoping that you can use it to help save your parents and yer brothers and sisters..." Hagger will say as he starts to calm down and his appearance begins to shift back to normal. after a few moments he is back to looking the way he did when you all arrived, leaning heavily on his cane.
Mouth watering, Vruuk takes the meats in hand almost reverently. As entranced as he was, the bugbearboarman managed to at least avert his gaze long enough to meet the old man's eyes so long as he spoke on. But after and feeling clearly ashamed, if only a little, Vruuk found a corner to chew on the leg in peace until his other siblings were ready to move. Any other questions or pointers he might've considered asking had faded in the wake of the incident.

(It is dark now. About 9pm ish. The moon hangs brightly in the sky and there are no clouds. A silver light seems to illuminate the farmers fields and nearby forest as the full moon shines.)
(So you guys could stay the night, or head home.. or whatever you all wanna do. Also, Cinders and pokim have pushed through. I know Cinders asked Pokim as to what they should do so I guess they are waiting on him?)
"Home."Vruuk says firmly, anger returning to his voice. "We go home. 'round town. Wide ways." He nods to himself, and takes another bite out his goat leg. Then, he looks to Mr. Hagger. Words failed him after a few moments of silence, so he just bows his head in thanks. "Let's go."

So Gin, Vruuk, and Veng make their way out into the night, heading towards town and making their way through the forest nearby, sticking close to the exterior city walls before following the path back to their home. They don't see anyone on the way back and arrive home to the sound of Pokim and Cinders discussing what to do after having cleared the cave-in in the basement tunnel.
Once they arrived home, Gin would attempt to casually slip over to Cinders and whisper to him. "Vruuk's not like himself. Keep an eye out, be careful," she would say before stepping back, trying to look more at ease. "So! Looks like the tunnel is opened up, good work!"

Try as he might, Vruuk cannot help but to experiment along the way. Since they were actively on the move and not cooped up in a building, it felt "easier" for him to direct the irritation and bloodlust towards more constructive outlets. It also helped that most spurts could be managed (for now!) with a few healthy tears into the meat. Though by the time he made it to the house, it was unlikely enough would remain to help in the futre.
At first it was just by sniffing at the ear generally getting used to the different and even played at his balance. When it came to the later however, his bones began to creak and muscles started to tear from another transformation. Feeling more of himself begin to disappear as the change began, Vruuk promptly forced himself back to his feet -- hooves. The rest of the trip he spent sullenly following after the others...
If Vruuk noticed little Gin pull Cinder aside, the transformed bugbear pays it no mind. Rather he had been staring at Pok'im intently, taking his brother measure as if... as if sizing up a challenger. So long as Pok'im didn't try to touch him, Vruuk could fight down any irritation. Mostly. "You ready, brother?"He asks gesturing gwith his head to tunnel.
(So are you guys goin in the tunnel. Also... Paging Pokim?! You still here? If not maybe a cave-in happened when digging the tunnel and you died? let me know :P)

Isn't there one in this guy's house....I totally thought he had an entrance in his house like us

Is it fully dark yet or twilight? I think we need darkness
(It is dark now. About 9pm ish. The moon hangs brightly in the sky and there are no clouds. A silver light seems to illuminate the farmers fields and nearby forest as the full moon shines.)

"Good job digging. I think we need to explore this."
