"Do we see where this goes or head back for the others?" Veng looks at the tunnel "it might connect to the house, if we went that way maybe we find them if not we could help dig from the inside..."
(Looking at the map, the map is just of the town and it shows the two different silver mines that you think might be connected to one another some how but it doesn't show any kind of underground view at all)
(@WrecK: And the other one is just plainly located where the Church would be I assume?)
(Also, did we have shovels back at the house? And if not, would we be able to get further faster including that plus everyone taking shifts?)
Vruuk goes back to pontificating for some time. But eventually, his head falls with a sigh. "I mean... If you could give me some pointers, Mr. Hagger about... managing it. I don't see why not make use of it? 'sides, I'm sure Ma or Pa can prolly undo it once we rescue'im if things start to go hanky panky."An uneasy smile splits blooms into being. "'sides if you can't come, it'd be like I'm bringing a piece of you with us... ain't it?" Once he had an answer Vruuk properly settles in to listen to examine the map. Seeing only the two entry points however, his expression darkens for a brief moment.
"Darn. I 'ad been 'ope'n there might be another way still open. But from the looks of this-..." He just trails off shaking his head.

(Yeah, basically the map shows a very early sleepy timbers with a few buildinga and farms and early homes... as if from an top-down view... It shows one mine enterence where the church of the silver lady stands now and another silver mine where you house now stands. Also there are probably shovels somewhere at the house or you could ask for some from Hagger, he has a farm and would probably have some...)
"Alright, you talked me into it... I am going to give you the curse the only way I know how..." Hagger would say standing up straight and rolling his shoulders with a sickening crack as his older bones shift within his body. "You may want to stand back you smaller kids..." The wereboar would say motioning Veng and Gin to take a step back. "Alright... this is going to hurt you.. a lot..." Hagger would say before lunging towards the bugbear.
(I assume you are going to let him hit you...)
Attack: 6 Damage: 7
Hagger, obviously trying to do as little damage as possible slams his tusks into Vruuks gut before ripping the tusks from the bugbears stomach.
(Vruuk, make a DC12 con save or you may choose to fail it. If you fail it you get wereboar lycanthropy)
(Con Saves. The Few Saves that are hard to intentionally fail.)
Curse Save(DC 12): 6.
(Yeaaaah boooiiii!)
Vruuk claps his hands and rubs them together. "Yosh."He plants his feet, and starts doing a few quick breathing exercises the moment Hagger starts talking about having the others stand aside. Then a thought occurs, prompting him to toss off his leather armor too and open up his under shirt a bit more. "Vruuk's body is re--OOPH FUU!" Even holding back, the slam is enough to knock the bugbear nearly off his feet. "Oof. Hurt worst than thought.. *cough*.." Vruuk presses his hand against his stomach, staunching the bleeding while silently thanking mother for making him so tough.
"What... happens now?" He says while catching his breath.
Vruuk collapses to all fours before curling up into a tight ball, his fanged teeth clenching tightly as it feels as though fire flows through his veins. The excruciating and blinding pain fades after about thirty seconds. Those 30 seconds however feel like an eternity as the bugbear thrashes wildly on the ground.
So the sun had been going down from the moment the three of you arrived at Haggers farm. Now as the bugbear thrashes around on the floor in pain, you cannot help but notice the faint silver light of the full moon shine down through the freshly cleaned windows. Just as the wave of pain begins to subside and the bugbear is able to shake of the feeling of fire flowing through his veins... a new pain begins. As the light of the moon penetrates the windows, loud cracking sounds can be heard from inside the bugbear as his body twists and contorts. Large tusks erupt from his face with small spatters of blood and his long soft fur becomes much more coarse and bristly. This noes becomes more boar like and the claws on his feet seems to twist into hooves.
"Woah there big fella, you might not be feeling too good right now... you may have some urges that you are going to need to supress alright! I have learned to control my power and you can too but it ain't going to be easy!" Hagger will shout while pushing gin and veng back.
(Vruuk, make a DC 15 wis save)
So back at the house, Pokim and Cinders are continuing to dig and finally break manage to break through as they can feel a slightly cool breeze hit their faces. After working to widen the hole and rig up some supports, they are pretty sure it should be safe now to travel through the tunnel. It is very dark inside the cave but you can hear echos of water as well as echoes of any sounds you make indicating that the tunnels may be pretty vast.
So as Vruuk finishes his hybrid transformation, he grabs his head and snarls and snorts for a bit. His vision blurry and the desire for blood clouding his thoughts... but as he stands there and hears Vengs words and thinks about his parents, he is able to take control of his emotions enough to refrain from striking out at any of his siblings.
"Well he hasn't attacked anyone yet so that is a good sign..." Hagger will say with a snort.
Gin nods to Veng—she's always ready to run if it comes to that. As Vruuk falls to the floor, she starts making the hand motions for a healing spell, more as a nervous tick than with the intent to cast anything. "Mister Hagger? Do you have any advice, um, for us? To help him manage it, make sure everything stays in check," she says.

"You may want to lock him up durning the full moon for the first few years... until he learns to control his power... to embrace parts of the curse... and repress others..." Hagger will say moving to the kitchen and quickly returning with a raw leg of lamb and tossing it at the feet of Vruuk. "eat that.. it may help your bloodlust a bit" Hagger will say with a smile.
Vruuk felt exhausted after what felt like hours of running away. It was supposed to be a simply hunt! And the beast was so big, surely his brothers would finally be happy with him for a change. In his hurry, he doesn't so much as see, but feels the root sticking out from the ground a moment too late. End over end he flips as he flies through the air before finally hitting the ground bouncing several more feet.
'Not yet.. Just a little...'He thought, as he tried clawing his way back to his feet. Then he hears the hoof beats of the beast behind him. Seized by terror, he curls into a ball and covers his ears, awaiting the inevitable. Expectations are dashed as new voices manage to reach his ears with a promise. Vruuk gathers his courage and sees a different figure shilloutted by the moon. A feminine one with black fur, lithe figure, and a single, thick ponytail. In one hand she held Dire Boar by the snout high in the air. And in the other, a bow. As she turns to look at him, a single word slips out from young Vruuk's mouth.
"... Mama?"
Back to reality. Oh! There goes gravity...
A subconscious step forward nearly spells disaster. But he catches himself, grips his head, and gives it a few shakes. "Quiet. Is a start."Vruuk says, the light finally returning to his eyes. He starts to raise a hand to brush the usual fluff from his eyes, but stops short, realizing then bothersome bangs had curled back and stiffen as against his scalp as if held by gel. "Why the **** are you all staring at me like that?!"He says irritably, glaring at everyone each in turn. A second later, he brushes off Veng and starts towards Gin with a hand out reached to grab her, the scent and Haggers words finally sinking in. He plops down and starts to dig in, only to just then proper note the tusks. "Hmph! No wonder stupid ass Orcs can't speak right."He grumbles as he works out how to work the meat back in his mouth.
Snappish, huh? Was his irritation just lashing out from the pain, or was the curse affecting his temperament? Gods, she hoped not. "Calm down, Vruuk," she said, taking a few steps back. "We need to focus on getting Ruby and Slate back, right?" Maybe it was just the stress, but he didn't seem himself. She mumbled a silent prayer under her breath to the Sylvan Ghost, a few absent words asking him to protect them all and get around to teaching her anti-curse magic some day. That was the best she could do for right now. And if worst came to worst, well, she'd get herself and Veng out of there. She did have that silvered knife, right?

Hagger would look towards Veng "I don't think so.. I was born with my curse and it took me a long time to get the curse under control" Hagger would say shaking his head with a snort. "Anytime the moon is full he is going to have to fight his urges... as he gets used to controlling these urges... he will get better at controlling his curse. Once he learns to control his curse.. he may choose when he changes and what form he takes. " the old wereboar would grunt.
