Healer chitters in that same whirring tone. At a higher pitch than before.

"I don't like the sound of this crunching under my feet."

Gobber responds in a heavy gaspy voice.

"Oof. Thanks for picking me up like that. Couldn't hold on too long."

Angie looks more closely around her for clues as to what might have created the cavern they are in.

Make an investigation check please.

Healer would like to check the area for tracks or signs of life. 

Angie you have no idea what created the space you are in.

Gobber asks the spider to gently help him down

Healer you are able to see long shallow indentations in the muck leading from the mouth of the tunnel deeper into the darkness ahead. Upon closer inspection it appears the marks were caused by something being dragged through the tunnel. There are no visible signs of life, but there are more grey webs and yellowing bones further into the tunnel.

Healer scurries over to the long shallow indentations. He turns to the group and chitters frantically while pointing with his forelimbs. 

Like Lassie, but much creepier. 

Angie listens to Healer's excited chittering and turns to her other companions. "I'm not 100% certain, but I believe this giant spider, who was once our friend Healer, would like us to follow him." Angie picks up a rock and casts light on it before handing it to Thokein. "Here you go, this way you and Gobber will be able to see where you are going. However, stand a few paces behind Healer and me and be warned, if we hear or see anything in the distance I will immediately douse the light and leave you in the dark."

Healer chitters and scurries along the wall to the upper part of the cave mouth. So as to proceed along the ceiling above Angie.

"Thank you. Understood."

Healer would like to conceal his presence as much as possible while they move. 

You proceed into the gloomy tunnel with Angie leading the way. Thokein and Gobber make their way a short distance behind while Healer crawls along overhead. The tunnel is roughly ten feet wide and is eight feet from floor to ceiling giving you all enough room to walk forward without bumping into each other.

You continue to see small bone piles strewn randomly about as you walk on in silence for what feels like an hour. At the end of this time you can feel the straight tunnel begin to widen. You pause at the mouth of what is probably a small underground cave of some sort. From the entrance to the cave you can see small stalagmites rising from the cave floor and larger stalactites hanging from the low ceiling. A pool of water stands nearby and you hear a slow drip.. drip.. drip.. as water breaks the surface.
