(So is each square 5 ft? If so is the outer wall about 300 feet away from the dark green area? Also, feel like its about to get all helms deep like soon. Gonna be awesome.)
(Yes, each square is 5ft so the northern part of the west wall is roughly 250 feet and the southern part is about 300 ft. I wish I could create something that epic. Only time will tell.)
"If there are no more questions, I will leave you to go prepare tonight's recon mission and will meet you here just before noon to go over the results. The rest of the day and morning are yours to plan." Inara says as she lifts her hand. Vines spring from the ground and twist into a 24 inch flat plank that then begins to sprout vines and flowers. The vines recede but the plank remains in Inara's hands. She walks over to Mucor and hands him a physical overlay of the illusion that you see before your eyes. "Take this and use it to help you plan. If you need anything ask a guard to seek Geo and he will find you." Then she turns to leave and exits the temple leaving you with Geo who gives a bow and exits shortly thereafter.
The time is roughly 2 in the afternoon. (Mucor here's your chance.)
(Got it. So it looks the entire keep is within 600 feet of the dark green =forest?)
"I can pick at least some of them off from the edge of the forest while you approach from the south. I don't think I could see the ones within the walls but could hit the ones patrolling on the walls." (Thank you sharpshooter) Aryn says as she watches Inara leave and looks over their new 3D map. "If were lucky they may begin to congregate on the west wall to see the commotion, drawing them away from the east."
Gaelin looks over the map then to his sister and back to the map before saying, "You think you can take them out from that far sis? It would probably provide a distraction. I like the idea of coming in from the south east. Less walls to worry about. I suppose we should make sure we all have grappling hooks for the climb unless we have some kind of spell that could lift us up or transport us to the other side."
(If Inara or Geo are still within earshot) Jinara thinks for a moment as if to recollect if there is anything he knows. He then yells out "Inara! Geo! Are the residents of the grove that have the capability to make people fly temporarily?"
(Sorry for lack of posting, this weekend was very busy and work has been crazy as well.... my problem is I havn't thought of the best creature or thing to try to make my best friend!?!?! FFUUUUDDDGGGEEEE)
(@Aryn- Yes, dark green is forest. @Mucor- No worries, weekends can be rough. It'll come to you. If not you can always awaken a second thing later.)
Geo turns and says, "I believe the shopkeeper who just left has that ability but he is unable to join you on this mission. However, our people do have the ability to move earth or make walls of stone that could assist in your endeavor. I believe your own druid companion has one of those abilities currently." and lifting his hand he casts Mold Earth some of the earth around him moves into the shape of a 3 foot mass of land with a small earthen wall. Next to the wall a small earthen ramp forms while simultaneously a tunnel is dug out of under the wall. Geo rotates the mass of earth giving the group a good look at it before moving back into its original position. "I will speak with the shopkeeper to see if there is a way he can assist with flight but if you need to get over or under a wall you already have that ability."
"Thank you Geo. Might anyone with the ability be willing to share their ability?" as Jinara removes his hand from under his sleeve intentionally revealing the Ring of Spell Storing.
"Yes" Geo says as he leaves and quickly returns with the shop keep. The shop keep smiles as he admires the ring that came from his shop and taps it lightly. His hand begins to illuminate brightly before the spell (Fly) is consumed by the ring. "There you go he says. That should be enough for three of you. (5th level) Please let me know if I can be of further assistance."
Mucor would smile and walk over to Jinara. Placing his large muscular hands over the ring, he would cast mold earth into it (as many times as needed) before letting go of his hand. "There you go friend.. If nothing else, I have found the spell useful for burying the dead" The minotaur would say with a snort.
(@Jinara-I added a note to your Ring under your equipment. Other than that I'm not sure what you could do. I wish they had some type of drop down menu of spells type-o-thing.)
(so basically an awakened shrub but a little different. That works! I will have to try to draw a picture of it!) Maybe if work is slower tomorrow I can do it then :D Also I am dumb and thought he wanted mold earth.. but yeah.. him talking to GEO about getting flight would be better :D Yeah.. .getting like... an owl best friend or even a rat or spider would probably be the better play... but RP wise I think he would like a mushroom friend. He will start summoning it once Geo leaves and stuff. That being said I may not get to post much again until tomorrow. My kid has her first softball game tonight :P)
Aryn would grin and say, "I'm gonna go practice some more. I'll meet up with you at dinner." Aryn would look for a guard and ask if there is an archery range where she could practice long distance shots (300-600 feet).
A guard leads you down a path for a few minutes through the forest until you get to a field where a large wooden shields sit against posts at varying distances up to 600 feet.
Aryn- You pull back your bowstring and feel the small surge of energy as you release your first arrow. It hits the center of the shield. Feeling confident you quickly release a second that hits about a foot from the bottom of the shield. Remembering your training you focus in and release the third arrow that sticks right next to your first arrow in the center of the shield. You adjust your angle and the first arrow hits the right side of the shield marking 400ft. The second arrow lands a few inches in front of the shield. You hold your breath as you pull back the bowstring with your third arrow exhaling slowly as you release the arrow hitting the center of the shield.
You methodically pull out your next three arrows hitting the target dead center. You release the second and third arrows at the shield 500ft away and hit but lower than you'd like. As you grab the last three arrows you take your time judging the distance and setting up the correct angle. Your first arrow hits a bit low and you make slight adjustments and make a straight line of arrows on the shield with the second hitting the center and the third hitting the top where you imagined the enemies head would be. The group of guards that were also practicing watch in respect and partial amazement as this small frame'd female lands all but one arrow hit their intended targets. The scent of the bonfires catches your nose and you head to meet up with your group. The guards nod and bow as you make your way past them.

(The walls of the keep are roughly 15ft high.)
"I am very familiar with that spell" Mucor would say with a smile as he churns up the earth nearby with a wave of his hand.
(Would I be able to awaken the death cap mushroom I picked?)

(@ Mucor- Yes, here is what it would be. Awakened Death Cap)

A guard leads you down a path for a few minutes through the forest until you get to a field where a large wooden shields sit against posts at varying distances up to 600 feet.
I'll take three shots each at varying distances:
300: 10 20 26 400: 24 23 14 500: 18 14 19 600: 9 16 9
Aryn- You pull back your bowstring and feel the small surge of energy as you release your first arrow. It hits the center of the shield.
