Quentin's first bolt takes the goblin in his chest and through his heart killing it. The second bolt finds the already damaged goblin, who shot Grunting with his bow, in the eye and falls over the edge of the wall motionless.

Mucor will watch as the enemies flee before turning and looking up at the east wall. He will immediatly dig his hooves into the dirt and will a snort lower his head and dash as quickly as he can across the grass and up one of the eastern ladders before lowering his head and attempting to spear one of the zombie goblins on the wall with his horns
Horns Attack: 21 Damage: 4
Then quickly turning, he will shake his head generating another cloud of spore before blowing them towards one of the other nearby zombies (dc 12 con save or take 6 necrotic damage
(I dashed, used my bonus action to attack with horns because minotaur, then used reaction to use beefed up halo of spores ability since I still have my spore wildshape thing going)
At the Gate: The phalanx guards move back behind the safety of the wall and the portcullis is lowered down. The three remaining zombies are engulfed in columns of radiant fire from the acolytes and priest that moved up to the eastern wall and guard tower.
Western Wall: The orc zombie attacking Onyx also erupts into flame and takes an arrow to the back from the far west tower. The zombie goblin impaled on Onyx armor claws and bites but can’t penetrate the dwarf’s armor. The guard from the western gate tower comes down the ladder onto the ground and grabs the legs of the goblin pulling down with all his might. The goblin rips into three pieces and expires. The guard looks at Onyx now covered in black and green ooze and says “Sorry, I didn’t think I could make the shot without hitting you.”
Eastern wall: Mucor dashes up the ladder goring on goblin through the chest before thrashing his head splitting the goblin in half. The deadly spores released by his thrashing flock to the last remaining zombie goblin and choke the undead life from it.
The ogre, now out of range continues his sprint to the woods and vanishes into them as the light fro.
-----------------(End of combat)-----------------
Gabriel, Onyx and the guard make their way up the ladders on top of the wall and help the guards remove the ladders. The acolytes collect the bodies of their fallen allies for proper burial and the guards start to drag the bodies of the enemies to a large pit to be burned. The townsfolk come out of hiding, some begin to mourn the loss of their loved ones as others assist the guards. As the afternoon fades into evening all the bodies have been moved and only blood stains and a large burn mark remain as a hollow reminder of the battle that transpired.
Your group comes together near the pit as Jesse tosses the torch onto the mound of bodies then makes his way towards you.
“Thank you. I… I don’t think we could’ve held them off without your help. Everything will be on the town. If you still feel open to helping our town, I have a mission for you… Come see me in the morning and I’ll give you all the details. Your work is done for today. Go get something to eat or drink and rest at the Riverboat queen. I hear some of the guards have gone there to get a drink.”
As Jesse speaks to you a half-elven man approaches from the side carrying a pouch.
“Thank you all for your help! The town owes you a debt of gratitude. Please accept this token of our appreciation.” the man says extending the pouch out to whoever will take it. “My name is Xavros. I am the elder councilman of Riverwood. Jesse tells me you have great talent…”
Jesse interrupts Xavros, “Yes but they’ve earned a night of rest Xavros. We can talk more tomorrow. The town can sleep safely tonight because of each of you. Again thank you!”
The fire from the pit burns brightly in the night sky and you imagine could even be seen from the mountains in the distance. The town and night are yours. (Also may want to think of a name for yourselves in the near future.)
Mucor would have helped toss the bodies into the pit for burning and would take the pouch from Xavros when offered. "It was no problem to help... if you have any of your men that are still injured... I still have a bit of healing left in me if anyone needs it" The shaggy minotaur would say with a nod.
Gabriel spends the day helping the guards remove the dead, removing neither helm nor armor until he is drenched in sweat and stained with the blood of the fallen. He reads a prayer from his holy book over their graves, asking for those who fell in battle to be looked on with favor in the afterlife.
This done, he turns to the grimmer task of excorsizing the undead. Taking his stained axe in his gloved hands, he beheads each zombie with precision and efficiency until he is left with a pit full of the grisly trophies. Sprinkling holy water onto the heap and surrounding the pit with candles, he casts Sacred Flame and watches as the congregated heads are consumed in the holy fire.
Only then does Gabriel return to the city, cloak torn, axe stained, and eyes without emotion.
"Thank you, but our acolytes and priest have taken care of that aspect. Now we have to deal with the emotional and psychological damage that no amount of physical healing can restore, only time can mend those wounds" Xavros says releasing the pouch of 600 gold.
Mucor, without looking at the pouch or paying attention to its contents attach it to his belt. "Thank you, that was not necessary but know that it will go towards helping others... and I am sure that my compantions and I will be willing to assist you with whatever tasks you need..." The minotaur will say with a nod towards the man before turning and heading towards his companions. If they were all spread out he would head back to the inn and wait at a table for them to arrive before dividing up the gold among them.
Immediately following the battle, Yera will help heal the wounded using all 15 points of Lay on Hands. But she can't bring herself to look on the bodies of the dead guards. The halfling helps out the best she can with everything else, but when the night turns to day, and no one but she still remains beyond the southern gate, she stands by the burning pit of corpses for a time. Staring into the flames Yera feels the weight of her oath now barring down upon her: a strange guilt. She uses her Divine Sense ability and departs for the inn to meet up with the others.
Divine Sense:
As an action, you can detect good and evil. Until the end of your next turn, you can sense anything affected by the hallow spell or know the location of any celestial, fiend, undead within 60 ft. that is not behind total cover.

As Quentin joins his companions and the town's citizenry, the rogue deftly gives his hand crossbow a few dazzling spins and flips around his hand and trigger finger before stashing it away in it's discreet resting place on his hip.
Sleight of Hand:14
Like many of his allies, the young rogue will assist in the gathering and disposal of the dead. He is uncharacteristically reserved and quiet while performing this task, keeping a solemn countenance and only nodding respectfully here or there to fellow volunteers when they join their efforts. Unbeknownst to those around him however, Quentin's ever moving hands are carefully and discreetly patting pockets and purses on the fallen from both sides of the conflict in the pursuit of anything of value. In addition to this larceny the rogue is genuinely helping assist the populace in laying their dead to rest, but with a subtle bit of misdirection here or a particularly well-timed hand motion there, he tries to obtain anything of interest he can from the bodies. Years of fending for himself in challenging situations have made Quentin less than discerning when it comes to what he can pilfer, and thus the young miscreant would gladly take anything that seemed vaguely interesting or half valuable in any way or another.

Sleight of Hand:11
Once his task at the gate and wall was completed and he was safely back in the Riverboat Queen, Quentin will drop down heavily into a seat at his companion's table and heave a loud sigh that seemed to come all the way up from the bottom of his feet. He leans back precariously far in his chair and tries to look for Daisy to signal over so that he can order a tall glass of mead and give the girl a smile and a wink of assurance that the threat was over for now. Turning to his party after that, the rogue will begin speaking in his usual brash manner. "Sum*****'," He drawls, "we got the devil's own timin' seems like. Wuddn't reckon them Orcs and Goblins'd attack before we could so much as knock the dust of them Gnoll caves off our boots, but thats that I s'pose. Oh, yeah!" Quentin slaps a hand on the table top, "I done forgot with all the hubbub. Gabriel heard tell earlier of some undead Orcs and Goblins to the south a' here, an we reckon'd we should tell ya'll bout it afore they got the drop on the town."
There are few words adequate enough to describe the grin that spreads across the rogue's face as he says this last sentence.
When Yera, finds her seat at the table and starts listening to Quentin's spiel, she rolls her eyes and gives him a contemptuous glance. But when handed the gold by her towering companion, she perks up a little. A bit of suspision enters her mind at first, but quickly melts as she remarks the minotaur's relatively kindly disposition. "A hundred gold for each of us? That's quite a bit of change for soldierly duties."
Mucor will slide 100g to Quentin and Yera across the table. "xavros, an elder councleman of Riverwood gave us each 100 gold pieces for our assistance and we were asked by Jesse to report to him tomorrow for a special mission.." The minotaur will say.
The young rakehell just winks and continues to smile in response to his paladin companion's glance, but as Mucor begins divvying up the gold and handing it out, Quentin leans forward and gladly swipes if off the table. "Ooo, you said it Yera, that's mighty generous o' them folk. Thankee Mucor, much obliged." He then leans back in his seat again and pulls out a small leather pouch from within his studded leather jerkin and withdraws a thin rolling paper and a pinch of dried tobacc leaf, rolls himself a thin cigarillo and lights it with a nearby candle, then exhales a small cloud of surprisingly fragrant and aromatic smoke.
"Special mission ya' say now, partner?" The rogue asks, cigarillo dangling from between his lips, "Sounds downright lucrative."
Yera: No signs of undead remain and for a moment it feels like a weight has lifted off your shoulders. A calming sensation fills your body as your deity confirms your presence and purpose for being here. The moment fades and the guilt and solemnness return but a tiny spec of warmth still resides in your chest reducing the burden.
Quentin: Other than 12 silver pieces and a couple daggers, nothing valuable seems to be located on the 5 fallen guards bodies. You guess they aren't allowed to have much on them during work hours. The acolytes, preoccupied with managing the wounded do not notice your prodding. Moving on to the orcs and goblins you find 2 gold pieces, 16 silver pieces, a pouch of ears off an orc's belt and a pristine dagger in a goblin's sheath (silvered dagger) that must've been taken off a recent victim of the goblin. Jesse and another guard notice your quick fingers and tell you whatever you find is yours. One feature you begin to notice across all of the goblins and orcs is that they have an identical tattoo and cut the flesh from one of the orcs to show the group.
(The green is the orc hide, not the tattoo.)
The Riverboat Queen: Daisy comes to greet the table and brings with her 4 mugs of mead, a beer and 2 glasses of whiskey. “Thank y’all so much for helping save us from those brutes.” She glances at Quentin and blushes at his flirtations. She comes over close to him and whispers in his ear, "I heard you had a big part in saving us from those nasty orcs. If you need anything to help you rest easier tonight let me know."
Daisy stands back up and looks around the table, "Is there anything i can get y'all?"
