Mucor- You would know that the Daylight does not damage vampires like sunlight would.  Only Sunbeam has the power to deal sunlight damage to vampires.

(Annoying I know but since your character would know this you can change your what your action was.)

(I know what Elliott would have done. He would have done "Stillness of Mind" on his turn, but I totally get it if you had other plans lol... Bring it on Zin! )

(His current HP is 24 btw)

(Well SHIT, ok... we will say he moves around like that but instead of waving his staff in front of the vampire, he will swing the staff instead)

Moving towards the vampire, Mucor would swing his staff hard towards the vampire as a swirl of black spores erupt from the end of the staff.

Staff Attack: 9 Damage: 9 Plus 1 poison damage
Reaction: DC 14 con save or take 7 necrotic damage

Jinara would move forward (north) and begin to round the bend before seeing Maven standing over Gaelin. A dark shimmer, exhibiting a scale-like pattern (for anyone looking in my direction) falls over Jinara's face. The silver ring in his eyes disappear. He points his hands at Maven and quick draws back his left across his chest like a bow and then thrusts it forward again casting Mind Spike (at 3rd Level). He repeats this action rapidly a 2nd time targeted at Maven (Spending 3 Sorcery Points). (Maven has to make 2 Wisdom Saves DC 16)

(I have Zinmaer at full HP. Y'all took a long rest then left at noon the next day.  He took 6 damage in the skeleton skirmish then got healed by Gaelin for 11HP.  You'll probably get him back soon...just give me my moment geez :D )

Mucor's staff cracks her square in the top of the skull.  It's as if you hit the wall of stone.  Maven turns he head in a smile and says, "Play nice"

(He got bit by Respen before he was charmed)

(Oh, I see.  The grab attack was just the attack roll not damage.  If the vampire hits with a melee attack they can choose to do no damage and grapple their target.  The bite attack didn't hit because it was below Zinmaer's AC.  My bad I should've made that bit clearer.)

Wis(1):  10   Wis(2):  22  (Maven uses a legendary resistance to succeed instead of fail the first save.)

Maven turns slightly to see this new foe and says, "Well well well... Looks like we are going to have some fun."  motioning to Zinmaer, "Why don't you save me from these evil men".  Then reaches out to grab Gaelin. 

Gaelin- Atk:  19  

Zinmaer shakes his head using Stillness of mind and ducks under the now loose grip of Respen. Turning to the vampire he says, "The only evil here is you and your kind."   (You can have him back)

Maven sneers at this new development lifting Gaelin up by the neck in her grasp.

Aryn releases an arrow from the shadows of the wall at Maven saying, "Unhand him you *****!"  Then rushes northwest to flank the second vampire with Zinmaer, pulling the bow behind her back and pulling out her new sword.

(20's all around double that damage)

(I love that narratively but hate it strategically.  Nice shot.)

Aryn's arrow pierces Maven's back causing her to exhale a splatter of blood onto Gaelin's face.  Choking and wincing from the pain, a bitter smile creeps across her face.  "Ah, is this a family affair?  How refreshing."  Then with unhuman speed she attempts to bite Gaelin's throat.

As Maven bites you see Gaelin's face start to turn pale.  (Gaelin you take 20 points necrotic which she heals)

Gaelin smiles as he reaches his hand out to Maven's face and says "Now how about a taste of your own medicine" casting Inflict Wounds at 4th level. Then in a somewhat hoarse voice inspire Aryn by singing, "Just a small town elf, Shooting bows since you were twelve, this ***** hits like a giant, now she's got to die."

Attack:    18    Damage:   10

(Aryn get a D8 to add to one attack, save or check in the next 10 minutes)

Maven recoils slightly as black streaks crawl from her face down her neck then turns to Jinara saying, "Won't you help me?"  Then with her other hand she will attempt to grab Mucor and bite or 2nd attempt to grab if first is unsuccessful (legendary action)

Jinara- Make a Wis save DC17 or be charmed.

The skeleton unleashes another slash as the now grappled Gaelin.

Jinara- You think, why are my friends hurting this beautiful woman. You don't want to hurt your friends but you can't let them just stand there and hurt her.  You could just stop them by holding them in place and cast Hold Person at 3rd level on Gaelin and Mucor.
