Necromancer's Delusion-Homebrew

Varian pats Mucor on the shoulder and looks over at the group, "Let's return to the tower.  Those of you who can teleport will be able to study a few circles including Esterlin while the others might be able to test some spells on smaller crystals... under supervision.  We will also be able to show you Esterlin's current situation and give you ample time to plan before you depart tomorrow in case there's anything else you wish to do here."

A few moments pass after Varian finishes and suddenly you all are teleported back to the tower.  Varian calls a few mages who guide you to the same mess hall for breakfast.  "I'll come see you in about an hour.  I have to make a few preparations."   You eat the delicious food and take a short rest to attune to your new items.  Varian returns with Lara to the mess hall and motions you to follow him.  Any that will to see the teleportation circles can follow Lara while the others follow Varian.

Lara guides her group to a series of rooms that each contain a permanent circle designated to each city.  Every capital city on Eraas and the major cities of the Eshan and Haemor kingdoms including Esterlin are shown to her group to study and learn.  The entire tour takes roughly and hour and you are taken down many flights of stairs where you rejoin the others in a large, mostly empty stone and adamantine room.  There you see Varian and the rest of your group experimenting with smaller versions of the pink crystal you now know as Alexandrite.

Varian leads Mucor and others down numerous flights of stairs before arriving in a large stone room that seems larger than the tower.  The walls have large patches of adamantine metal placed against the stone and in the center of the room is a large circular chamber with no ceiling.  On the right side of the room sits a large adamantine chest guarded by four mages.  On the left side is a tall open tower that has large flat platforms at 20, 40 and 60 feet high.  Varian leads you into the circular chamber which is roughly 50 feet in diameter and pulls out a small pink alexandrite crystal about an inch long and holds it up in front of Mucor.  "Before you do anything, here are the rules... You must wait to cast any spells until all others are clear of the chamber, unless they wish to stay.  You can cast any spell below 6th level into the crystal.    If you die, the Seven are not responsible for your funeral arrangements.  Do you agree to the terms?"

If Mucor agrees, Varian will hand over the crystal and say, "I will let you know when you are clear to begin." and rushes out of the chamber heading towards the tower and climbs up to the 60ft platform before shouting, "All clear"

Aryn will definitely follow behind Varian and observe from the safety of the tower.

Mucor would nod before turning to button. "Hey buddy, why don't you wait outside..." He would say with a smile and a snort. Once Button has made it to safety, Mucor would hold the crystal in one hand and his staff in the other. He would then begin muttering an incantation under his breath...

(not sure what to cast lol... am i casting it on an enemy? on a location? on something in the room?)

Jinara would absolutely go with Aryn and Varian

(There is a table, straw mannequin and a few small pieces of wood in the center of the chamber.  You can cast any spell you want and we'll see what happens.)

Torq would fly up to the top of the 60ft platform and look down at Mucor.

Mucor would close his eyes and slowly raise his hands as he casts Enhance Ability on himself, hoping to give himself the strength of a bull.. before taking advantage oh his new necklace and immediatly casting it once more to give himself the endurance of a bear..

You watch as the already bulky minotaur form of Mucor suddenly grows in size similar to being under the Enlarge spell. His form continues to grow until it stands nearly 20 feet tall and crushes the table and mannequin as he turns to look around.  The pink crystal glows brightly and begins to heat up.  Mucor instinctively drops the crystal from the heat and it shatters into a thousand pieces of fine dust before a flash of white energy fills the area around Mucor.  As your eyes adjust you look down to see Mucor's form hasn't changed and he innocently looks up to the tower and waves with a low giggle.

Varian cocks his head and says, "Interesting development."  He looks down to Mucor and says, "Want to try another one?"   

If Mucor or another person wants to try, Varian will motion to the mages and have them bring out one crystal from the chest and place it in the middle of the chamber before returning to their post.

(OOC so was I able to get both spells off? the strength and con or just the strength? so, I am still huge right?)

(Just Strength was augmented by the crystal.  You can cast teh second one but it won't be augmented unless you use the next crystal.)

The huge minotaur would extend his hand. "I will try another spell" He would say with a grin before pausing. "Unless someone else wants to try one.."

Gaelin would follow Lara around making note of each circle and commit them all to memory. 

(Did they teleport our griffons and Valeera back too?)

(Of course.  They are chilling in the stable section of the tower.)

(Are we going into battle again before our next long rest?)

(No, you basically have the day to do whatever you want, ask questions, see how Esterlin, Castle Daybreak, Inara, etc are doing.  Anything you like.  Just needed a break from map making for a bit.  You guys have been blasting through everything I've thrown at you... partially my fault for giving you beastly items but your strategies have been on point.)

Torq will be content to watch Mucor and the others experiment.  He didn't really understand magic but saw its usefulness and effectiveness, especially after Varian's demonstration.

(Ok. I was going to try a higher level spell, but if we are going to embark on something soon, I will continue to let mucor play)

Once Gaelin gets there he would try using Invisibility on himself.  

After they were done playing Gaelin would ask Varian about Esterlin and see how the siege is going.
