 Initiative Order:
Group 1: Gaelin, Mucor, Valeera
Group 2: Aryn, Varian
Group 3: Shadowblades & Jinara
Group 4: Wymeron & Torq

(Combat has not started yet.  I had you roll just in case.  It will depend on how the next few seconds go.)

Jinara -make a DC 17 spell check using your spellcasting modifier to see if your counterspell works.

Gaelin will shout "Stop!" and cast Hold Person at 4th level targeting Wymeron and the two drow.

DC18 WIS or be paralyzed.

As Jinara expends his spell Wymeron smiles and replies, "Such weakness... " then turns to Gaelin and shakes his head while shrugging off the effect.  One of the shadowblades tenses and locks into place while the other looks menacingly at Gaelin as he too shrugs off Gaelin's spell.  Mucor emerges from behind the pillar with Valeera and together they move towards the group.  Mucor summons two Dire Wolfs that flank him on either side.  Valeera waits to clear the row of pillars and transforms into her true dragon form.

Despite this show of force Wymeron and the unaffected shadowblade remain determined to fight. Wymeron smiles then suddenly frowns as his form rapidly transforms into a slug.  The shadowblade looks around frantically to find this new threat but is unable to locate it's origin.  You all hear Varian's voice inside your mind say, "Try to capture the shadowblades, kill them if you must but do not harm the slug."  Varian's form suddenly appears next to the slug and he carefully picks it up and quickly moves back towards the entrance.  The acolytes blink rapidly and gasp at the sight frozen in place while they process the quick succession of events that just unfolded

Aryn then Jinara!

Aryn will target the shadowblade nearest her casting Hunter's Mark on them with her bow follow up with two arrows aimed at each shoulder socket.  (Sharpshooter)

Jinara will cast Sacred Flame at the shadowblade Ayrn did not hit. he will then move towards the entrance near Varian.

DEX DC19 save, or take 9 radiant damage

Aryn's two arrows sink deep into each shoulder of the paralyzed shadowblade.  The impacts nearly toppling him over as blood pours from the two wounds. The shadowblade remains standing but just barely.  The second shadowblade dodges the column of radiant fire from Jinara and rushes towards Gaelin lashing out with his dark metal blades.  His first swipe lacerates Gaelin's arm and a cube of darkness seems to appear from thin air next to Gaelin.  Then with a thrust Gaelin feels the blade pierce into his abdomen and a second cube of darkness appears on his other flank.  The shadowblade looks to his companion...

Damage:  Gaelin-  14  (piercing)  20  (necrotic)   28    (poison)   make 2 concentration checks DC13 and DC 15.

"Damn that really hurt." Gaelin says telepathically to the group.  

(Nice Gaelin!)

Torq will rage and drop down from the sky to deliver a heavy blow from his hammer.  If that doesn't kill the drow he'll swipe again with his hammer.  If that kills the drow, Torq will head towards Gaelin and the area of darkness that the other drow walked into and hold an attack with his hammer for when the drow reappears within melee.

(@Torq- yes. However, you can't hold half an action.  Also your movement is taken up in your fall.)

Despite the damage, Gaelin'\s resolve remains firm and he continues to hold the paralyzed shadowblade in place.  A shadow quickly grows around the paralyzed shadowblade as Torq rapidly descends from the sky.  In one swift motion the shadowblade's form is overtaken by Torq's as Torq crushes the shadowblade's head under his hammer.  Torq looks up and tries to find the second shadowblade.  Valeera, Mucor and his two wolves quickly come to Gaelin's aid surrounding him and prepare to attack any threat that should emerge.

A silence passes over the entrance as seconds go by and the magical cubes of darkness remain in place, their edges wavering with the breeze.  Varian looks to the other acolytes and shouts, "Return to your rooms and lock your doors.  We will alert you when the danger has passed."  then turning to the southern cube of darkness casts Dispel Magic.  The black mass shimmers and flashes white for a split second before disappearing into thin air revealing nothing.  

Aryn then Jinara!

Aryn will draw another arrow and level it at the last cube of darkness and aim for the center of it making sure if it were to pass through it wouldn't hit an ally. Then she'll release it into the darkness hoping it will find it's mark.  She'll draw a second arrow and repeat basing her point of aim on whether she hears the first arrow impact the walls behind it or the thud of it hitting a body.

Not wanting to jeopardize Varian's hold on Wymeron, he simply casts Eldritch Blast into the darkness.

The acolytes follow their instruction and quickly make their way through the entrance and down the corridors.  Aryn's first arrow finds purchase and she smiles as she hears the familiar thump of her arrow impacting a body.  A little too eagerly she draws and releases her second arrow that flies a bit wide and deflects off the stone wall by Jinara, who releases three arcane bolts into the darkness. The first impacts the shadowblade but the second two bolts fly through and cause scattered bits of rock to fly from the stone pillar by Aryn. 

The cube of shadow wavers slightly as the shadowblade emerges, tendrils of shadow seemingly clinging to his body with an arrow protruding from his side and sword pointed at Gaelin.  The wolves and Valeera each unleash a flurry of attacks against the shadowblade who manages to deftly avoid some but not all attacks.  One wolf bites down on his ankle while Valeera rakes her claws against his leather tunic creating three large tears that turn red with blood.  Still, the shadowblade continues with his attack and pushes Gaelin's hand away as he thrusts his blade into Gaelin's abdomen.  A smile crosses the shadowblade's face and as one cube of darkness appears the original cube swirls and flows into the sword as it pierces Gaelin's side.  Gaelin, you feel a cold sensation followed by intense pain as the black shadowy mass surges from the blade into your body.  The shadowblade spins and slashes at the northern dire wolf cutting its throat.  A second cube of shadow appears and the shadowblade sidesteps into the darkness in the entrance.

Damage: Gaelin-  6    25  (necrotic)    9   (poison)   

Mucor turns to the dead shadowblade as noxious spores begins to swirl around his body and clinches his fist.  Immediately the body of the shadowblade shakily stands to its feet and begins to move towards the cube of shadow.  It swings its sword through the darkness but doesn't seem to make contact with anything.  Mucor summons a cloud of spores over the cube but you hear no coughing.

Torq!
