Insight on Dain:   11

 Torq would approach Jinara and pull him aside.  "He seems to be telling the truth. I do not know that his blood should fall on our hands.  Perhaps we should give him over to Varian and the others for trial."

"Agreed. Varian. He can go to the tribunal. We do not wish his death unless they ascribe to that verdict."

Aryn smiles and pats Mucor on the head.  "It's okay... some people show their appreciation with kisses to the forehead or to each cheek.  You're doing exactly what you need to.  Don't worry, if you do ever actually hurt me you'll know..." she says with a wink and looks back to the group, "Alright... what's our next move?  Return to the feywild, rest at the castle, something else?"

"We should give Jinara his memory back first thing.  After that I'm fine with whatever you all want."  Gaelin says.

Varian looks at Torq with a compassionate sigh and says, "Unfortunately these restraints are quite expensive and time consuming to make. The adamantine we use is enchanted with spells to dampen magic.  I can have some commissioned for you.  They cost 3000 gp each and take roughly 3 weeks to finish."  He turns to Jinara and looks to Dain then back across the group.  "We will see that justice is done for this one.   Jinara, I will send you a message when all is prepared for Wymerons punishment."  

"Understood." Jinara moves over to the corner and contemplates the last few minutes.

Gaelin would watch Jinara tentatively and after a minute or two he’d walk over put a hand on his shoulder and say, “you alright?  When you’re ready I’ll be glad to restore your memory.  Also if you just need someone to talk to I’m here to listen.” 

Mucor would let out a sigh of relief before looking towards the group. "Now what?"

"Let's go back to the castle to check in with everyone and grab a bite to eat and maybe some rest.  We should probably check in on the feywild as well.  Gaelin can your magic message thing reach there?"  Aryn says looking to her brother 

Jinara does not coherently understand the words that Gaelin says. He knows someone is talking, but all background noise is muffled and barely identifiable in this moment. He closes his eyes and lowers his head and a single tear falls from his face and hits the floor of the chamber. In his mind he begins to pray "My lady. What have I done? I am I on the right path? This man put a bane on my life out of his own jealousy and spite. He took away from me knowledge of myself and I let me own code take over in his punishment. In the last moment I chose to spare his life through transmutation over execution. It is my hope that my actions have not impaled your impressions of me. I could not continue following your path knowing that this man was leading and guiding the future of your congregation and temples. Forgive me my lady."

Jinara raises his head and acknowledges Gaelin and extends a hand for help up. (assuming Gaelin helps) Jinara stands and adjust his cloak and responds "Let's gather with the group. We need to make our plan for whats next. What were you saying a moment ago?" 

(Jinara hears the statement again)

"Let's discuss that later this evening." he says regarding his memory.

Once they're out of the room Gaelin would cast Teleport on everyone and teleport to the castle.  He was happy to be back home but knew Valeera would be worried for Rowan so he'd cast Sending and say, "Captured Wymeron and accomplices.  Beware of poisoned weaponry.  How is it there?  Do you need our help?"  He'd share the response with the group.

Gaelin- 65     Jinara-  89

Jinara- despite the magic dampening enchantments you feel a warmth around you that focuses in your core then spreads to your back. You feel an intense heat between your shoulder blades and grit your teeth but the heat subsides and a gentle cooling sensation replaces the heat.  You feel a rush of energy flow through your body and breathe deeply.  Your hear Davara's voice in your mind say, "Well done my child."

You all exit the room followed by Vairian who bids you farewell as you vanish in a flash of arcane energy leaving behind a restrained Wymeron and a mournful Dain. You arrive a moment later in your castle and make your way out of the vault.  Cedany looks around a bit confused at the rapid change of scenery and follows closely behind staring in wonder at the castle interior. You exit onto the top of the keep and look out onto the busy courtyards full of workers and residents.  A sense of safety and relief rushes over all of you as you return home after a long journey.  

Gaelin- You hear Rowan's voice in your mind say, "That's great news.  Forest is a quarter cleared.  No evidence of poison yet.  No need for help yet. I'll contact you if things change."

(Apologies for the delay all.  had a long weekend and busy start to this week.)

Jinara takes a deep breath hearing this as Gaelin casts his spell and a simple smile comes across his face. He accepts the teleportation.

Torq would breathe in the fresh air and crouch to fly off.  He'd pause and say, "I'll be back.  I've got to go check in with the twins." then he'll jump and fly off towards their quarters.  If they aren't there he'll fly around until he finds them.  When he does he'll scoop them up in his arms/ wings and smother them with gentle pecks of his beak.

"Well that was quick." Aryn says watching Torq fly off.  "I'm going to go take a bath..." she looks up to the sky and shouts  "Let's meet back for dinner!" so that Torq can hear.  If he doesn't respond she'll use her earpiece to convey the same message.  "You alright dear?  Revenge is bittersweet.  If you're like me you half expected something miraculous to happen." she says to Jinara

"That works for me.  I'll see you all then."  Gaelin says then turns to Valeera, "Shall we?"   They'll take off towards her den for a bath and leisure time.   Once they're done he'll ask her, "Do you think we should go help Rowan anyway?  Would she be mad if we did?"

As Torq lifts into the air you feel the coldness of the air hit you as his wings push the air in your direction.  While you stand there for a moment, word of your arrival spreads quickly and Iris comes down from the tower to greet those who are still atop the keep.  "Welcome back.  You've been gone for 17 days.  I trust you were successful in your adventures?  I wanted to come by and update you on your efforts here at the castle.  I've deposited the month's income of 2,284 gold pieces in the vault, without Valeera here the mine was a bit slower so production was down.  The tower and fortress construction are making good progress.  The fortress enhancements should be completed in 44 days and in 68 days the tower will be completed.  It is good to see you all again." she says bowing and peering over to Jinara.  As Iris stands the realization hits you that time in the feywild is different than time in the material plane.  Though you only spent two nights in the feywild much time has passed here.

Torq- you are able to find Alexandria and Juliana at the monastery training with Zinmaer.  When they see you coming they drop their weapons and run to meet you almost leaping into the air to reach you.  "You've been gone so long..." They explain the number of days you've been absent, how they've been training and helping the builders and you come to the same realization as the others informed by Iris.  They cease their talking and dwell in the moment of compassion while you wrap them up in a tender embrace.

Gaelin- You are unaware of the time skip and rush off with Valeera to her den before Iris arrives.  You both land and move to slide into the large stone pool of water that is partially frozen without it's host to keep it warm.  Make a DC 16 investigation check to see if you could connect the dots that you've been gone longer than a couple days.  You hesitate and wait for Valeera to enter and see the immediate effect of her warmth as the sheet of ice rapidly melts.  She puff out a bit of flame to speed the process then transforms into her human form and bids you to join her with her finger.  The water is refreshingly warm compared to the cold air and as time passes the den itself begins to warm.  After bathing and romancing you prompt Valeera with questions and she looks deeply into your eyes and says, "I don't know.  She is quite capable and felt this fight was the duty of her people.  I doubt she'd be angry as any assistance but I will always follow you should you request my presence."

Once Mucor was back at the castle he would let out a loud sigh of relief. "it feels good to be home." He would say with a small snort and a smile as he glances towards Aryn. "I should check on the grove and let Button know about his.. new offspring? Perhaps BJ is more of a nephew to Button..." he would say as he starts to rub his eyes while thinking about Button Jr. came to be in the first place. He would then make his way to the grove and after checking with Herbert on the status of the grove, he would make his way to find Button. After entering Buttons cave, Mucor would smile and greet his friend (Assuming he is there). "Hello... I... apologize... I seem to have forgotten to bring you back any snacks from our latest journy." Mucor would say with a look of sadness. "I have been distracted... Please.. allow me to introduce you to Button jr." Mucor would say as he holds out his hand and tilts his palm upwards... prompting his mushroom friend to rise up from his palm.
