"Yes, let's rest" Yera finally standing at attention, "I'd prefer it if we get outside this wretched place first, though."
"I do think we should check that second cave, there were quite a lot more, uh" She pauses to find the words, "Combatants than we thought there were going to be." The halfling glances up towards the statue. "Is that Vaeril?"
The statue is of Vaeril holding up "Wrathstar", an ancient artifact he used to turn masses of people into undead armies, above his head. Thousands of years ago, Vaeril created the "wrathstar" using blood magic and ancient dwarven smithing. The artifact controlled the minds of those around it and if they perished it would raise them as undead. Vaeril slaughtered half a million people of the mortal races in his quest of vengeance against them. Vaeril hated the mortals free will and lack of fear for death. His sadistic conquest was only stopped by the combined efforts of mortals and gods who banished him to an alternate plane. The star and crescent moon shape of Wrathstar has become synonymous with Vaeril and is the symbol tattooed & branded on his followers.
As the group makes its way out to the mouth of the cave you setup a small fire and prepare for a short rest: Roll hit dice if you want.

AS your short rest comes to an end the sun moves towards the west and the heat of the day is felt on your bodies (2:00pm). The cool mountain breeze still retains its chill and most of you set off towards the next cave. Grunting waves as your paths part ways from each other after taking one more look at the map. As she turns to leave you can truly see the damage caused in your previous battle as white feathers run down her spine and across her wings. The diminutive form disappears into the forest of the mountain as you continue your trek towards the next cave.
Survival check from leaders with advantage for map.
After the rest, Mucor will stretch out examine the map trying to locate the next cave. his shiny new armor already much less shiny after their last battle.
As you make your way across the mountain range you avoid the rocky cliffs that have recently had a rock slide. As your trek takes you higher, a small layer of snow coats the ground. The air is dry and the sky clear. The sun beams off the white snow creating a blinding light when the angle is just right. The view is beautiful and humbling. As you take in the view you can see the features of other mountain ranges far in the distance and you can barely make out the small shape of Riverwood as you trace the river down the valley.
As you crest the top of one mountain and begin your descent to the other side the sun hangs in the west bringing the full heat of the day. You still have a few hours of light left in the day and the mouth of a cave is visible in the distance. You make your way towards your goal and as you approach you notice the multiple carcasses of animals that have long been dead near the entrance to the cave. You are about 400 ft from the mouth of the cave when a large black Dire wolf flanked by three other dire wolves exit the mouth of the cave sniffing the cold air. Large puffs of white condensation leave their nostrils as they breathe and exhale. Prancing around one of the dire wolves is a wolf pup who is shortly tackled by another pup from behind.
Quentin tries to keep low and if at all possible upwind of the animals. He squints across the distance and frowns at the sight of not only the immense wolves, but more specifically, the pup. It was common knowledge that the presence of a pup made the mother more aggressive, and if necessary the beast would fight to the death to protect it's offspring. A tragic and wasteful loss of life, as the party had no intention of harming her child. The rogue rubbed his hand across his lightly stubbled chin and glanced at his companions.
"That there Mama's gon' be protectin' her babe somethin' fierce." He whispered to those nearest to him, "If'n we can avoid a scrap at all that'd be for the best. Otherwise, them critters will be fightin' like hell itself."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Yera guides her horse slowly backwards, to get out of their range of hearing. "Well, I think we can go back to town now, there's not much to worry about with these fellows."
The wolves hear your conversation and the black wolf howls into the air. The three flanking wolves howl and retreat into the cave. Two wolves that you didn't see run from your east and west flank towards the cave. when they arrive at the mouth they enter slowly backing in. The black wolf watches you intently as he slowly backs into the darkness of the cave, teeth bared and a low growl emanating from his large mouth. Mucor, the last thing you see is glowing yellow eyes vanish slowly into the darkness.

(I assume Wrathstar is a stone replica, not the original relic? EDIT: Constitution modifier is +1, bringing me back up to full HP)

Correct it is a replica for the statue.
