Gaelin would thank Mucor for bringing the water for Valeera's pool then leave and visit Valeera.  "We're leaving in two days to help clear a mine.  I've come to make sure you don't follow us.  This will be a dangerous mission and while you have gotten much stronger, I don't want you to get hurt.  I think for now it's better if you stay to protect the castle while were away.  I promise I'll return and maybe even take a dip in your pool if you'll let me.  I will also visit with you tomorrow and I'll wake up early so we can chat for a bit before I leave."

Valeera perks up as she sees you approach and meets you near the entrance of her den walking alongside you until you come to the center when you begin speaking.  She visibly exhales a bit of heated smoke at your wish for her not to accompany you and your absence.  When you promise to return for a dip her eyes flare with happiness.  "I understand, but I don't want you to go... you may get hurt.  I know you have to leave but hopefully soon I might be able to come?" she says shyly staring at you with large red eyes, blinking rapidly.  She starts stretching her back and slightly opening her wings.  "I think I'm big enough now for you to ride me if you wanted to. Maybe you could have someone make a harness to keep you from falling off.  I can fly very fast."  

(Any of the group names are good with me.)

"I know but I'll be okay.  We have a good group of people.  Now about flying, I always wanted to ride a dragon.  I will get our blacksmith (?) up here shortly to see about making a harness.  Hopefully he will have it done by the time I get back and we can test it out.  I'll be right back."  Gaelin would say trying to hide his excitement as he went to find the blacksmith. 

(Ooo I like Silverlight and Light Bringers.)

Gaelin- You speak with the blacksmith and take him up to Valeera's den.  He examines her and makes some mental notes before telling you it'll will take between 100-120 gold and that he can have it done in three days.  Valeera smiles wide showing her razor sharp teeth and the blacksmith slowly backs away out of the den to go to work on this new project.  

Mucor- you find the druid and button within the grove.  Button is nestled in a patch of moss taking a nap while the druid prunes some of the bushes that are quickly growing thanks to your spells.

(If you have anything you'd like to do during the two days let me know today.  We will skip to your journey to the mine tomorrow morning or tonight.)

(Also, welcome to level 9!  You have proven you have the ability to follow orders, even if those orders mean not to do anything. :)  you’ve also learned to lead, coordinate and corporate with others both inside and outside your group. )

Gaelin would give the blacksmith the gold after he leaves Valeera’s den. He would keep his word and visit her each day including in the morning before they left. 

(Sweet level 9!)

Aryn would wait until Gaelin or anyone else wasn't in the den with Valeera and visit with Valeera.  "Hello Valeera.  My name is Aryn.  I'm Gaelin's sister.  Is it okay if I come in?" Aryn would say respectfully.  (If allowed in) "I just wanted to talk to you and see how you are doing.  Gaelin has talked about you a lot and I thought I should come check in.  I know Gaelin is interested in ... *thinking of the right words*... building a stronger relationship with you.  He really enjoys your company.  I Just want to make sure that you too have a good... friendship and that my brother is... safe."

Valeera welcomes you in glad to have another person to talk to.  "Yes, I heard Gaelin speak of you often.  It's nice to finally talk to you.    I appreciate your concern.  I am quite interested in a relationship with Gaelin as well. He's wonderful to talk to.  From what Gaelin has said you and your other companions are strong. He says your quite accurate with your bow and just as deadly with any blade.  You should be able to keep him safe.  Gaelin needs to stay safe and you should protect him." Valeera says visibly upset with the thought of harm coming to Gaelin. Then her eyes glow brighter as she gets a glimpse of your bow. "Do you think you could show me your skill with the bow?  It's a very pretty bow."

Aryn would smile as she pulled out her bow. "Yes, I'm quite deadly.  I will make sure my brother is safe.  I trust while we are here you will aid in keeping him safe." She says as she pulls out 3 gold pieces.  She tosses them into the air and releases three arrows in quick succession. 

Attacks:  19    25    15

The first arrow hits the corner of the coin, the second and third hit dead center in each coin.  As each arrow hits, lightning arcs and accelerates the coin in a different direction.  Valeera watches each coin go flying and makes a mental note of where each coin lands.  "Impressive.  Gaelin is well protected in your company.  I will protect Gaelin just as furiously as I would myself. "  Valeera says.  "I hope you return to talk more after you finish your mission.  You are quite interesting and I'd love to hear stories of your hunts."

"Herbert (The druid I just named Herbert)...You are in charge of the grove while we are gone... And I want you to check on Button while I am away" The minotaur will say placing his hand on the druids shoulder. "I would like to have to pool in the center of the grove surrounded by weeping willow trees... They should provide plenty of shade for my gardens of mushrooms to flourish. In the center of the pool in the middle if the grove, I want a small island with a large  weeping willow in the center.. It will serve as a quiet place for reflection. This grove will be beautiful and shall reflect my particular... magical influence" He would say with a smile." 

Finding Buton, Mucor would crouch down low and sit next to him... holding out his hand for his small friend to climb up. Once Button was in his hand, the minotaur would let out a long sigh. "Friend.. I am going to be leaving. I will be going on an important and dangerous mission." The minotaur would say with a snort as he runs his eyes with his other hand. "Button... I am going to leave you here. I dont want anything bad to happen to you and I don't know what I would do if you were to get hurt." Mucor would pause a moment, obviously upset as his eyes begin to tear up. "I created you because I wanted a friend and was tired of being alone... and now I am leaving you... But know this.... I will be back as soon as I can. I have instructed both Herbert and Valeera to keep an eye on you. Valeera really enjoys talking with you... almost as much as me. perhaps once she has mastered our language... she can stay to teach you common. If not, I will start trying to teach it to you when I return." The minotaur would say before pulling the mushroom close for a hug.

(Obviously if you have a name / race / sex of the druid, you can let me kno but I dont think it was ever said. It could be a Herbett.. for all I know it could be a fellow minotaur lol)

(And from this day his name shall be ... Herbert the Tortle druid.)

"I will do my best sir.  This grove will be a beacon of hope and peace to those around it." Herbert responds.

Button climbs up and nods as you speak to him and would move his small stem arm over your cheek absorbing the tear.  "It's okay friend.  I know you are only leaving me here for my safety.  I will miss you but Herbert and Valeera have been very nice.  She brings me dead animals now that she can fly again."  Button's stem arms stretch around your neck for the hug and release as you pull away.  Button pats you on the head and says, "Now go kill those bad guys" and you see the translucent blue spikes protrude from Buttons cap while a smile creeps across Button's face.

“ I have many stories to tell. Unlike Gaelin I have lived many more years than most of my companions. I have seen many things in the world and protected Gaelin from his birth. We will speak again when I return but for now I must prepare for battle. The coins are yours if you can find them.” Aryn says with a smile and bows to Valeera before leaving.
