He will plan to follow behind Garbriel until inside the mouth of the cave before standing off to the side and setting up the spikes at the mouth so that he is on the same side of the spikes as the enemies but far enough away from the aasimar that he would not be feared. If Onyx wants to sick close to me, he could do the same and then proceed to tackle whoever he wants.
Mucor is going to run right behind the aasimar and then stop inside the mouth of the room and cast the spike growth after onyx, gabriel and himself are in the room.

Gabriel will use his companion's disadvantage to his advantage, in the hopes that their unstealthy approach has diverted the orcs' attention. Opting for a seperate route the aasimar takes to the shadows. 15
He then leaps into the midst of the orcs and reveals himself in the full fell glory of his race. Skeletal wings sprout from his shoulders and his eyes glow a sickly green. (The orcs must make a DC 10 Charisma ST or be frightened of Gabriel.)

Quentin nods along with his companion's plan, moving forward with them in an attempt to get within thirty feet of the Orcs. His eyes widen at Gabriel's impressively terrifying display, but he quickly tears his gaze away from the fallen Aasimar and focuses on the Orcs themselves.
(I say you run in, pop that ability and cause them to flee into spikes and onyx tackles anyone not busy running away)
