Gabriel's eyes flash green with fury as he tosses his shield hitting the cultist who dared to challenge him to a stare down. He rushes past his comrades and leaps into the air bringing down his axe onto the neck of the ogre. The axe connects and severs the head from the body. The broken and lacerated body of the ogre falls to the cave floor with a thump.
As the adrenaline from battle coarses through your veins you take in your surroundings. The cave section to the west contains a deep pool that you can't see the bottom of. The room to the east seems to have two shelves with herbs, knives and candles on either side of what appears to be an alter. To the south the cave opens to another room where a shelf of full, semi full and empty potion bottles, herbs and utensils sit adjacent to a large workbench that resembles a rough replica of an alchemist table. the cave continues to the north before turning south again.
(I need 4 investigation checks (1 for bodies, 1 for each section/room: West-water, East-altar South-workbench) and 2 perception checks.)

As the last ogre's body drops, Quentin nods in grim approval of the scene. "An' that was that, then. S'much for the faithful o' Vaeril." Glancing around for a moment, the rogue's eyes lock on Onyx's form and he makes a slightly wry, sardonic expression. "Umm, Onyx? Ya' got, erm... ya' got yerself a little... a lil' thang on ya there partner." Quentin's long finger points to the Ogre's eyeball still affixed to one of the Dwarf's protruding spikes.
Squatting down beside the dead cultist at his feet, the archer begins to pat the corpse's clothing and pouches and rifle through his belongings for anything of interest or value. Half glancing up at his companions, he says "I reckon I'll see if'n these ole' boys had anythin' of worth on em. If'n ya'll wanna check out the rest o' there digs, go right ahead. Elsewise, I'll come n' join ya'll in the search in a bit." From the first cultist Quentin will move to the second, and finally to the hulking forms of the slain ogres.

Yera stands over the body of one of the cultists and stares down at it. Flicking the blood off of her blade, she pulls herself away after a while, and looks around the room.
Mucor will stand up and beat his spear on the ground in frustration "Damn thing must be bent.. can't stab anything with it..." before looking around the area for useful items and enemies.

Gabriel kneels next to the altar and runs a gloved hand down the smooth stone surface, searching for runes or carvings that would indicate it's purpose. "Your hearts and blades are strong, friends." He says. "The minions of Vaeril shall cower before us. "
(For brevity sake, I'll use these checks. Forgot we’re down one.)
Quentin finds 13 gold pieces between the two cultists. Nothing of interest from the ogres or room with the pool of water.
Mucor finds a sill in the cave that has a path of cave mushrooms growing on it and becomes enamored with it ignoring the others.
Gabriel finds a bloody dagger that has a jagged edge on one side near the altar. In the small adjacent shelves there is a small pouch containing 3 small rubies. (100 gold per ruby) The runes carved into the altar do not appear to be magical but also seem to be incomplete only wrapping around 60% of the stone altar. Looking at the altar and shelves you discern that these pieces aren’t new additions like the benches and shelves from the previous rooms where you fought the orcs and goblins. This altar has been here for at least 6 months if not a year. The wood has lost its fresh cut fragrance and the blood stains are deep and multilayered.
Quentin & Gabriel: In the southern room you find 3 potions of healing, a small pouch containing 30 gold pieces and a flask of alchemist fire. You also find a note that seems to be a recipe for a nasty type of poison. This alchemy table is also an old piece with acid burns and stains that show months of wear.
Yera is able to hear the sound of a group of orcs that seem to be conversing not in a threating manner but in a jovial tone, if orcish could ever sound cheerful. The sound is faint, distorted by the echoes off the walls. You can tell this cave is much deeper than originally though and there seem to be more enemies than the scouts were aware of. The gradual slope from the previous rooms turn steep as the cave turns south in a narrow decline (10-15ft wide and 8-15ft ceiling). A lone torch sits at the bottom of the slope as the cave curves to the west.
After about a few minutes pass the group congregates back to the southern room near the alchemy table to discuss your findings and plan your next steps.
Mucor would scoop up all the mushrooms and dump them into his back pack and stuff a few in his mouth before joining the others. Once hearing the orcs further down, his ears would perk up a bit. "I think we need to keep pushing further down. Does anyone require healing?" The large minotaur would say to his companions, shaking his large shaggy head and scratching himself behind his ear with the tip of his spear.
Onyx waits somewhat impatiently as he waits for the others, flicking at the eye stuck on one of his armored spikes that Quentin was kind enough to bring to his attention. "Unfortunately, no, minotaur. I know I'm small, but am I not brutal? Are the spikes not large enough?"

"It seems that there is more company further down "Yera said with a frown. She pulled out her pen and paper and began not eating again, "We took out the two ogres, but we still have three orcs left." Looking towards the tunnel that led further down, the halfling let out a deep sigh, "There may be many more down there, it'd be best to try and take them by surprise again."
When her team finally decided to go, she again is at the rear of the procession. Stealth at disadvantage 86
Gabriel stuffs the parchment in his pack and pockets the pouch of gold coins and one of the potions of healing. The three rubies he tosses to Yera. "Blood money." He mutters in disgust. "Keep them safe for the time being."
"Nothing says surprise like running in with weapons drawn, shouting threats of what you'll do to their corpses... but if it's stealth you're after." Onyx grumbles slightly as he moves to the rear with Yera

Quentin will dispense the gold he found on the bodies between the rest of the party, and make an expression of co-mingled confusion and revulsion as the next of the cave's secrets come to light. The alter definitely reeks of ill connotations to the rogue, and he frowns darkly when looking at the dark stains that could only be lingering traces of blood. At Yera's words of more enemies however, Quentin shifts his attention back to the danger at hand and quickly slips a bolt into his hand-crossbow.
Nodding to the others as the group begins to move forward, the rogue whispers "Let's go pay em' boys a lil visit, shall we?"

(13g that Quentin found divided by 5... Gabriel pocketed the 30g they both found)
