Gabriel retrieves the dagger and runs his finger down the stained blade. "This dagger may be cursed with dark magic. " He carefully wraps it in leather and places it in his pack. "I will investigate the matter further once we have dealt with the current threat."
(I figured the character with the highest carry weight capacity would carry the bag of holding, and most knickknacks would end up in there until being identified and distributed or sold. Mucor being a Minotaur or Onyx being a strength based dwarf would be my guesses for strongest PCs)
awesome. well we will say Mucor has it but when people hand me things, I would prefer you make note of what it is and how many.. maybe a nice list.. :D
As you make your way deeper into the cave the air begins to grow cold and damp. A thin mist hangs in the air and puddles of water are scattered along the rocky floor. The tunnel you descend down gets darker then lighter as you near then pass the halfway point between the light from the torch at the top and the torch at the bottom. You reach the bottom and look back up at the spec of light that represents the torch and realize that you’ve descended nearly 200 feet.
The path bottoms out and curves to the west. You continue forward and can see roughly 80 feet in front of Mucor is a large opening illuminated from a single large light source with wooden long tables. The smell of cooking flesh permeates the moldy moist air creating a bitter sweet sensation. The sound of orcs eating and yelling back and forth can be heard hidden behind the curve of the cave wall to the north. As you slowly move forward Grunting slips on a slick rock hitting the ground letting out a short “KAWW” (damn) of pain from her ribs and jumps back up. The sounds from the opening go silent…
Quentin flinches visibly as the sharp 'KAW' echos down the tunnel, and he breathes a slow, steady breath in response. Quickly the rogue raises his hand crossbow and points it down the corridor, training it on the curve at the north wall in case any of their enemies decide to come out and investigate the noise.
Readying an Attack Action, the trigger being one of the Orcs coming into sight.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Watching her kenku companion cry out and the raucous banter of the orcs go silent, Yera retrieves her heavy crossbow, and aims down the corridor. "Shhhhh!" The halfling whispers loudly. Yera wracks her brain, trying to gauge how many orcs should be present by the noise they were making. (If it's perception, +1 | If it's insight, +3) 4
She ready(ies) an attack action with her heavy crossbow for the first orc that comes into view.
(Gabriel will also divvy up the gold he found amongst the party.)
Flayr Flameseeker | Genasi/Fire | Wizard/School of Evocation | Level 2 | Custom Campaign: Cold Cash
(8g 6s each for the 43 pieces)
(There's also 2 more potions of healing, flask of alchemist fire, and Gabriel found a strange dagger
(I hope someone grabbed all of those things... we can look at them later just as long as we have them.. Mucor would have but he was muching shrooms..)

(Some serious retconning going on. ;D)

(And the unclaimed bag of holding floating in group loot limbo)

(I will carry it if onyx doesn't want to do it)
(I'd put a hole in it. It's all yours. )

(To get us back on the track I took us off.. we've all rolled stealth. Time to go down the tunnel
(Made a doc for the Bag of Holding)
That is awesome. Better toss in that other stuff Onyx was talkin about too :D
(So far, I have two potions of healing, one alchemist's fire flask, and three 100gp rubies in the bag of holding. Is that all at this point?)
(Sounds good.. unless someone tossed in the fancy dagger from the alter)
(Gabriel kept the dagger for further inspection once the danger has passed as its probably the sort of thing that'd be in his wheelhouse)

Yera can discern there are at least 3 but no more than 8 orcs.
