Oleksi casts a healing spell on poor Lily. Cure Wounds (Lily): 4
"The kobolds are many. It might be too risky if we keep pushing like this. Allow me to scout. You stay here." Oleksi meditates on the various forms of the Worldsoul and turns himself into a tiny Spider. He then goes to explore the tunnel to the north-west, climbing and walking on the ceiling.
Mokrai searches the room. In one corner, hidden behind a rock, he finds a little box, containing a potion of healing. When he searches the kobolds, he only finds half-eaten and pickled leftovers of rats and other animals in their pockets. The kobold scout has 2GP on him inside a small pouch. Mokrai cannot hear any noises from the other room.
Oleksi the spider climbs up along the wall. The only other (apparent) exit from this room lay to the north. The corridor winds and twists before ending in a curtain of black, scaly leather. Tendrils of acrid vapors curl and sickly, green light escapes from around the edges of the curtain.
Blake slumps against the wall slightly. "Those tiny dragon folks sure do take a lot out of you. I don't suppose we could take a minute or two to catch our breath?" asks Blake.
Beyond the thick, black-leather curtain that hangs in the opening leading into this room, you see a wide chamber bathed in sickly, green light. Wisps of acidic mist curl around the curtain, burning your nose and throat. Within, you can see a three-foot high dais bearing a crude, lumpy throne topped with the skull of an alligator. Behind which are stacked a number of crates. A four-foot wide opening rests in the ceiling of the northern corner. The western side of this room is approximately 3-feet lower than the rest of the room.
Sik'garuk, the leader of the kobolds, is sitting proudly on the throne (really, just a pile of broken crates, wood, and miscellaneous debris covered with canvas). There is a kobold inventor standing next to him, and two strong looking kobolds, one with wings, on each side of the curtain, waiting to attack anyone entering the room.
None of the kobolds see the little spider, climbing along the ceiling of their cavern.
"Hummmm, thank you so much for doing the recon friend. So, it seems that we have the advantage of deciding when the battle starts"
"I remember that we have 2 potions from this alchemist Kobold, Blake couldn't find out what they were. Silvertongue, do you have any idea of what are those potions ? Can we use them has weapon ?"
"I'm thinking of a quick assault; one of us pulling the curtain, 2 of us throwing the 2 vials and the rest attacking the kobolds. If we are lucky we might bring them down right away..."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Holding up the potions to the ambient light in the room, tipping them from side to side and then sniffing the corks in the bottles, SilverTongue tries to surmise the magical effects of the potions.
SilverTongue knows his magic potions. With a little sniff and a lick of a small portion off his little finger he knows.
There is one potion called "Goo Sticka". Silver knows that the target must succeed on a [DC 11] Strength saving throw or be restrained until the end of its next turn by this sticky, green goo.
The other potion is a "Self-Pity Putty". This lump of damp, pink goo bounces demoralisingly off of the target who must succeed on a [DC 11] Charisma saving throw or be wracked with self-doubt. Until the end of its next turn, whenever the target makes an attack roll or a saving throw, the target must roll a d4 and subtract the number rolled from the attack roll or saving throw.
"Well, if you want, I can try some of that wild and crazy magic that I used earlier. It totally killed those other kobold dudes, so it's sure to work again!"suggests Blake.
Mokrai picks up one dead kobold - and throws him into the curtain. For a second it billows, then it rips. A black mass falls 15 ft into the room. The two kobolds standing guard behind the curtain attack the incoming parcel. One with a dagger, the other one with a short sword.
When they realise that this is not an enemy, but a dead kobold wrapped in their curtain, they growl furiously.
Oleksi's thorn whip reaches the kobold and pulls him closer to his enemies. This kobold is not fleeing, this kobold is here to fight.
WIS save 3
The kobold scout hears SilverTongue's words and feels... distracted. Somehow he remembers his mum calling him 'untrained', and it hurts.

(OOC Short Rest?)
Oleksi tries to give a look at what lies behind the curtain.
OOC: I'm afraid that a short rest would bring more Kobold :( since the alarm has been raised

Oleksi goes back to the group, having care to not scare them off when turns back into centaur form.
He describes what he saw in the room: the chief, the brutes, the inventor, and the fact that there is no way out. And that they are waiting for them.
Mokrai listens to Oleski report.

Mokrai picks up one of the dead Kobolds and with immense strength, throws it in the curtain.
