Had sat down a few seconds later, though with the loud rabble of the crowd he couldn't pick much more out of the conversation "They mentioned something bout a serpent as well, our best lead so far. From talkon bout town tho, seems to be a gang war goin on, and ain't no one to willing to speak of it, even got Stonefist all riled up, and she ain't normally one to shy away from stuff like that"
Gereon drops to a whisper, "The two gangs have been looking for something big, unsure what but perhaps Floon or Volvo had a lead and because of that Floon was taken? People who study the supernatural tend to have an eye out for fellow scholars that know something, perhaps the gang has been slow to approach Volvo with hostage demands...or perhaps this is easy pickings banditry and I'm overthinking?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Replying in a whisper "Two gangs at war, A serpent, and a warehouse on Candle Lane." "Lets give these two a bit more time, we'll follow them if they try and leave."
Yimrok leans back and tries again to hear anything of value. Perception: 2
As the group sits and listens longer no more information is for coming. They do learn about life on the docks, about whining wives and kids. Eventually they both get up, one staggers to the door and the other upstairs.
As Gereon stands up the half Orc gives a small nod "I'll go an check out that warehouse, see what's going down there" He said as he watched the ranger leave, waiting for him to get out the door to leave as well
Gereon and Mirkuia stand and head to the door following the staggering man. They travel the same path as the an seems to be heading toward Candle Lane. Mirkuia heads down the lane checking out the building as Gereon continues following the man. After a few blocks Gereon watches the man go into a ramshackled building . When the door opens he hears a shrill voice asking if he has been out drinking again that quick starts yelling at what you assume are kids.
As Gereon heads back to Candle Lane, he quickly catches up to Mirkuia.
Gloom envelops a narrow alley as dark as a dungeon — and as odorous as one, too. Nearly all the streetlamps have been smashed. The only light that pierces the darkness is a faint flickering from down the lane, like a distant candle.
Candle Lane, Yes. Its a series of warehouses a couple of blocks from here. It's called Candle Lane because of a single candle on it that never goes out. It's also not a very friendly place to be at night. The barkeep says while wiping out a glass with a dirty rag.
Looking up and considering the halfling. Just your standard array of thug preying on those unfortunate few to be in these parts after dark. Then going back to his 'cleaning' But those two gang no not them. Though I doubt their presence helps much.
Yimrok catches up with the others as they make it to the the one candle thats is burning. Across the way they from the light they notice a winged serpent painted above the handle of the door on a warehouse.
The group move to the entrance which is surrounded by a fence with a gate. you notice the gate is unlocked. As you inspect the building you notice three possible ways in, the front door, a loading door, and a lacked out window. All three entrances are locked.

"Looks like the hunt is on" says Gereon as he gets up and begins to stalk the man staggering to the door.

Mirkuia needs a perception check
Our ranger bites his lip and hastily leaves the scene, keeping an eye out for a large warehouse style building on Candle Lane.

Yimrok stands after his companions leave and makes his way to the bartender he spoke with previously.
"Hello again, Do you know anything about Candle Lane?"
"A candle that never goes out, huh? What makes the place bad after dark, anything to do with the two gangs around here?"
"Thanks for the information." Yimrok nods his head and turns to leave, heading to Candle Lane and keeping an eye out for Mirkuia.
"Well, This looks like the place." Yimrok says as he checks the door to see if its locked.

Mirkiua walked over towards Yimrok, putting a large hand over his shoulder "Think ya can get past this? Or should I just kick it down?"
"A moment please" whispers Gereon as he creeps to the edge of the window and tries to peer in.
