Leto sends a blast off, slamming against the fence above the wolves heads. The two immediately stop digging and start running towards the party. Gnash and Kelric step forward and with a quick slash of Gnash's axe and stab of Kelric's dagger, the two wolves fall dead in their tracks. Meanwhile the four wolves near Agatha, lay their ears back with a growl, however, they seem more interested in their food than their companions fates. At this time it appears that Agatha still has the four wolves under her control.
Drack, your Gryfalcon returns and lands on your shoulder. Roll Perception with advantage for it please.
Your Gryfalcon tells you of a rather large camp of men in the woods a hour or so north of you, it also mentions finding a rather plump squirrel for lunch.
If there are more wolves headed towards the group Leto will shoot at them. If not, he wont. ((I've lost track of how many there are.)) The ones with Agatha he'll keep an eye on but not attack, as she has them handled.. currently. Otherwise he'll just scan the area to see what's around. PERCEPTION18
After dispatching the two wolves Gnash turns and heads back towards Agatha.
"You may have those four under control, for the moment. But I am getting paid to defend this village not make friends with hungry wolves. So what are you going to do now? When you run out of food they'll be more than happy to eat you. "
"Good scouting Draconovich ((what did you say was the short version of your name again?)). Did your bird see about how many, or what types of troops? Were they on the move or setting up camp? Leto asks. ((@Lucky: you can answer and we'll assume that he relays this info to the group if he knows it)) and to the group he says "Are we expected to handle this as our group? Or should we go back for reinforcements?"
((@DM - What time of day is it? How long have we been trekking since our room? ie. how far are we if we wanted to go back and hit the alarm?))
"We can report what we have discovered. The commanders can then decide what to do. Until then I say we walk the fence line. But what about these four wolves? What are we doing about them?"
Hansel glances at the four wolves. "Let's keep them. We could use them to help us with attackers. If they bite back, we bite back harder. And by that I mean we kill them."

Your gryfalcon, told you of smoke seen through the tops of the trees, it did not try to go beneath the canopy. So as far as numbers, that is unknown.
It is now just a few minutes after dawn, and you are about halfway through your shift. If you hop the fence and head to the keep, you are maybe 20 minutes away, if you walk to a break in the fence about 40 minutes then. If you run you can half it (Athletics DC 15).
At this moment the wolves are kind of looking about nervously as they are not comfortable in the open during day. Agatha, you have enough time to ask for a question or favor before they return into the woods.
((give me 2 levels and I could send word back... until then)
After Agatha sends the wolves back to the wood, to the group "So... what do you all think? Should we attempt to repel the troops, or head back to give word?"
"I very much agree. I'm not likely to put my life on the line for 2g a month. And we aren't far from the keep. If someone hops the fence and runs back they could alert the guard and still be back here in maybe 30 or so minutes. Might it be worth it to send one or two to report back while the rest of us remain here to watch for anything new?" Liet will reply.
((Liet is not the most athletic... so would rather not do the running))
Hansel shrugs. "I will go alert them." He begins making a dash for the keep.
((Nice~ Just to save time, make an ATHLETICS check. Lucky said above that'd be needed to run it))
Liet will send a telepathic whisper just as Hansel starts to jog away "Be quick. We'll keep a watch here."
After that he'll make a close look around to see if there is anything else out of the ordinary. ((anyone wanna help with their own role? I'm not the most perceptive...)) PERCEPTION:16
(Hey all, finally back from visiting people etc. and got reliable internet again. Will be posting sporadically until about Monday/Tuesday.)
Agatha addresses the wolves. "Right, wolfies, listen up. You can either do as I say and I'll give you food, head back into the forest, or try and stay 'ere an' those guys'll slaughter you like the others."
DM, what's the verdict with the wolves?

Hansel is going to stop after hearing Agatha's words and see how she handles the situation. "To tell you the truth, I love pets."
