((Yeah, I am always in favour of actually following initiative. It doesn't change Landrae's action this turn, so unless Duncan kills the dude in one hit, or he runs away crying, we're good this round from my perspective.))
((@Kai - I'll worry about the healing in the middle of the road if you can do the same for the woods? Since this looks like a two part fight))
Advantaged roll on attack: 20 (so hopefully that hits... over the previous 13. I presume keeping the damage as 4)
((Initiative is great, though just to be safe if it's ok I may still queue up attacks with if/then statements. If it's simple at least. And at lvl one it's pretty simple for Duncan: Swing glaive. bonus action. repeat.))

(Awesome, saves me some confusion.)
The bandit captain loses his nonchalant grin and loads his crossbow, letting a bolt fly in the direction of Duncan. Attack: 12 Damage: 8
Duncan returns the courtesy with a swing of his glaive, staggering the man. Jack's arrow whistles over the head of the bandit captain, ruffling his golden locks.
The two men in combat with Elber and Kai hurl aside their crossbows and draw rusted scimitars. They attack as one, their steel singing a song of pain in the shadows of the forest.
Kai Attack: 20 Damage: 3
Elber Attack: 5 Damage: 5
Two crossbow bolts fly from the opposite side of the road, aimed for Jack and Duncan.
Jack Attack: 8 Damage: 2
Duncan Attack: 18 Damage: 5
Kai spins and delivers a staggering blow with his quarterstaff, but the bandit engaged with him deftly sidesteps it.
Landrae reveals herself and buries her bolt in the bandit captain's arm. The man grits his teeth in pain and tears the bolt free.
((How detailed? From what I'm reading the scene is the bandit leader and Duncan fighting close to the cart (with Landrae and Jack), Kai and Elber are fighting two bandits close to them just inside the forest close to the road, and two more bandits are shooting crossbows from the other side of the road. Based on their damage they have light crossbows, so they're not more than 80' away but likely closer to have a clear shot from cover (so within Dashing distance).))
((Just as a heads up, for Landrae's action, I am thinking of Faerie fire on the two shooting bolts from across the way. Will she be able, after their turn, to determine their position in the woods?))
((Just as a heads up, for Landrae's action, I am thinking of Faerie fire on the two shooting bolts from across the way. Will she be able, after their turn, to determine their position in the woods?))
((adding to that. If they've shot arrows, I'm assuming they aren't hidden? How far are they from Duncan? Would he be able to reach them and attack next turn, or not?))
(Heads up, any ranged attacks made at the bandits are at disadvantage and the bandits have half cover. Not that it matters much in Jack's case. :D)
Landrae, the bandits are visible but heavily obscured by the forest foliage.
Jack's arrow embeds itself in a tree just to the left of the bandits head. The man ignores the shaft and continues to attack Kai. Attack: 20 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Two more crossbow bolts fly out of the woods, both aimed for Jack. (Jack, you have half cover behind the cart. +2 to AC, I believe.)
Attack: 18 Damage: 8
Attack: 12 Damage: 4
The bandit engaged with Elber, a pale-faced man who can't be older than 18, takes a desperate swing at the hulking barbarian and sprints deeper into the forest. The scarred man in combat with Kai glances over his shoulder at his fellow's retreating form. "Coward!" He screams in fury. (Elber, you recieve an opportunity attack)
((Amen to acting in initiative order.))

(That just about sums it up, @twooshort.)
The bandit captain is felled by this final onslaught, and he crumples in an unconscious heap. The bandits falter momentarily.
