(Considering you are firing through ten feet of forest foliage and you are not entirely unaware of the bandits position I thought it would make sense to impose disadvantage.)
((Got it. Just checking if it was a actual rule i didn't know or not. It seems a bit rough to count both that and cover imho. You're the DM though ^^))
Landrae hears the bolts fly past and Jack's exhaled breath as both find their mark, punching through her companion and leaving him unconscious. Kai's quick response to bring him back from the brink of death is a momentary relief, and shouts her encouragement to Jack to rouse himself "Jack! From the dark you are back, I bid your blood to run, before you are undone". Then, calmly turning towards the wooded cover, Landrae lowers her bow, shapes the spell in her mind, and whistles the lilting notes as she casts a violet glow into the forest "Let us reveal those dastardly bows, such that we may land our blows!".
Bonus Action: Bardic Inspiration on Jack Action: Faerie Fire casting into the woods to catch both of the locations that bolts have originated from.
Landrae will stay in the cart central to the battle, as she would be on stage, though still trying to utilize as much of it for cover as she is able.
((I know Elber is next, but I'll go ahead and put up Duncan's next action to keep things flowing))
Seeing Jack take some hits from the side, but then be brought back by Kai, and then his friends start to target those bowmen off to the side, Duncan will charge at full speed into the wood to get near them (Movement + Action Dash). Being about 50 feet away from where he was in the road, he'll run to them, and just past (though not leaving melee range of them) so that they are between him and his friends. He doesn't want to be in the way of any arrows. He'll try to get in between them in order to be in melee range of both. Stopping just past them, he'll also yell back to his group "I've got them now!" in an effort to help his team know where they are (due to the disadvantage given by not knowing their location) after watching him run in.
That will end his turn as he looks at both, sizing them up readying his glaive for his next turn.
((I'm hoping you'll be able to look at the soft violet glow on each of them to help with that! @JJ - DC13 Dex save for each of them to avoid the Faerie Fire))
Elber brings his sword around in a strong slash, but the more steadfast bandit manages to duck under the blade and avoid certain decapitation. "Stand still and I'll give you the death you seek, bandit."
Jack gets up from being dropped, half scared and half furious. He feels a little embarrassed, and like a little kid yells out “Didn’t hurt!” He takes a shot from behind the cart at the bandit by Duncan that is bathed in light.
Attack: 25 Damage: 11
((Not sure if he is the one engaged w Duncan, if so here is sneak attack damage from the crit))
@ Kasian - just a thought, did you mean to do anything else last turn? Healing Word can be cast as a bonus action, so you can still make an attack in the same turn.
I'll wait to see what the bandits do on their turn (same initiative as Jack) before posting for Landrae
Elber takes the opening and knocks the escaping bandit to the ground with the flat of his blade.
((Opportunity attack: 18 Damage: 9 Non-lethal.))
Edit: Also bringing the initative over to this page:
20 - Bandit Captain
16 - Duncan
10 - Jack & Bandits
7 - Kai
5 - Landrae
4 - Elber
I am one with the Force. The Force is with me.
(Thanks, I have a hard time remembering the initiative order.)
The bandit faceplants into the soft loam of the forest floor, unconscious.
