"Well, the other side of town sounds an awfully long way away to me, when there is fine company, good beverages, and a growing audience to play for. I vote that we stay here and take up the search for this Jebediah in an effort to walk off our hangovers!"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Getting a bit into his cups, Duncan will start by challenging Elber to arm wrestle. And then anyone else at the bar who wants to go. Simple wager. The loser buys drinks.

Jack sits and listens to Landrae play, clapping along best he can for someone with limited natural musical rhythm. He rather enjoys being entertained with plays and music. Takes him away from the thoughts of what kind of trouble this group will get into in the days to come.
“The drunken rat sounds like the kind of place my father would hang out in.” he says “He always got the best tips on jobs from loose tongued drunks. He always had a way to him on sparking up conversations with total strangers and getting them to give information they probably should have kept to themselves.”
“I never had the golden tongue he did. He sure knew how to loosen people up. They never saw him coming. Luckily, it seems all we need to do is find this Jebediah fellow. He may be looking for us, or at least people like us.”
You get directions from the innkeeper and set out for the Drunken Rat early in the morning. A cool morning mist envelops Thithladroth, and the crisp air does your headaches some good. The Drunken Rat is every bit as disreputable as itsw name would suggest. The windows are boarded up, the glass long since shattered, and the establishment reeks of cheese and beer. The proprietor, a gnome blind in one eye, informs you that Jeb resides in room seven. Ascending the rickety wooden stairs, you emerge into a dusty hall. When you knock on the door of what you can only assume is room seven, considering that there are no numbers to denote the doors, a hoarse voice answers.
"Is it time to pay the rent already? I swear Grubble, you're taking advantage of my bad memory."
Kai, feeling refreshed after a long night of rest, and a good cup of tea with breakfast, feels prepared for the day (and trouble to come). At the sight of the drunken rat, he makes sure he has a good grip on his staff and his scimitar is loose in its sheath. Even so early in the morning, he has come to fully expect trouble in this town.

The innkeeper scratches his chin. "Last I heard, Jeb was holing up at the Drunken Rat tavern on the other side of the river."

Kai raises an eyebrow at the name, "It does not have a name to inspire confidence"

Duncan and Elber seem to be fairly evenly matched, or they are only trying to stall half the time, but in the end Duncan stands victorious.

((Same,
At some point in the evening, Landrae will perform at the tavern, 24 Performance.
Not a patch on her earlier show, but she still manages to drum up a suitable tune for the crowd to sing along and clap their hands too.
