Looking at the map, Harukai says, "It looks like there are chambers to our northwest and northeast.  Shall we continue? Which way do you want to go?"

Going back to the previous hallway and traveling north you come to another hallway that runs east to west. The hallway stretches to the west. You are currently close to the east end and hear voices coming from the east saying “Keep looking! The boss says something is down there!”

"Nilparin," whispers Haruaki, "Do you want to check that out? Or do you want to head to that dead end on the west side that looks like it might connect to the other room?"

"I'll check it out quickly here" with that Nil will move forward to the east

Nil, able to use his darkvision, sneaks into the cavern and is able to see a bugbear standing at the edge of a collapse in the floor, looking down. A male drow is also near the edge. Ropes a rigged leading into the drop off. Easing around the wall Nil is able to catch sight of two more bugbears at the bottom of crevasse looking through the rubble. 

One on the bottom stares up with a confused look “what was we looking for again?” The drow angrily says “the boss says something powerful is down there. Stop asking questions and keep looking!” 

Returning to the party Nil will pass along the information 

“How deep is the pit?” Harukai whispers.  “If we can take them by surprise, we might be able to knock them down in the pit and shoot from above.  Is it too dark for me to see without the sword’s light in that room?”

"It would be, but I could cast a light spell on a rock and toss it down, as far as how deep I didnt get a great look"

“Maybe we should just rush the ones on top and attack them before the others can climb up.”

Jackson nods. "I'm ready when you are! Just say the word."

Jackson bears Talon and his shield, preparing to rush the party ahead.

Harukai looks at Nilparin and Sildar, seeing if they are ready to go.  Assuming they are, he says quietly to Jackson, “Lead on, Brother Greystone!”

Nil nods "Let's go"

Jackson rushes in, looking to attack the nearest enemy.

Attack: 7 Damage: 4

Jackson rushes the bugbear and swings, but swings a little short and misses. Sildar rushes the drow and going to attempt to slam him with his shoulder and knock him into the pit.

As Jackson attacks the bugbear, the drow turns to see What is occuring just as Jackson rushes him, just as Sildar slams his shoulder into him and he is knocked into the pit. 

He takes 8 + 3 for the unarmed strike. 

Holding the staff of striking out in front of him horizontally with both hands, Harukai rushes the bugbear from behind, striking low across its thighs to unbalance it, then following up with a spinning kick in an attempt to send it into the pit below.

The bugbear was facing Jackson's attack so you surprised him from the side. Both of your attacks connected with the intent of knocking him off the ledge so I will say yes he did fall into the pit. 

He will take the above damage plus 11 fall damage

The glow from Harukai's sword now shows the bottom of the pit. In addition to the bugbear and drow laying prone at the bottom of the pit, two other bugbears are heading toward two ropes tied to boulders near the top of the pit in an attempt to climb out.

Nil can take a turn in this madness before I roll for initiative. 

Nil strings together some words of magic as he points his rapier at the bug bear to his left and casts Tasha's Hideous Laughter WIS st dc13
