"Phew that was close"says Frenevîr in low voice. "Let's tie them before the spell wears off. Perhaps we can supplant them so if anyone takes a peek they see their lookouts doing what they are suppoused to do?"
It seems that you haven't been detected yet. As Liet peers in, he can see a long cavern that goes back deep into the hill. At the end of the cavernous hall there is a faint orange light, likely a fire of some sort, and he can see shapes casting shadows on the wall, as well as distant, muffled voices. About halfway to that orange glow, the cavern breaks off to the left and to the right. You could think of it looking like an inverted cross.
What are you doing with the sleepy sallys at the entrance?
While they tie up the guards, Liet says to the group "Those look like the advance guards. The tunnel goes back a bit before branching off either direction. There are definitely people back there. Though it's hard to know how many, I can hear voices and see a light."
Nodding, Liet replies "Agreed... though as I said before... I need to rest to be able to change again... Do you think waiting an hour is safe? Otherwise I can just go in like this. I'm still pretty quiet when I need to be..."
"I'm only worried about patrols or if they'll notice their sleeping friends are not at their posts while we wait..." Liet replies. "At this point we have the element of surprise. Or we could take these ones out and hide in the woods until more, hopefully, leave."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Liet sighs, takes a deep breath and says a quick prayer, and heads into the cave as quietly as possible. Just before he heads in he says "I'll be back as soon as I can see what we're up against..."
As you walk down the corridor, slinking in the shadows, you make it to the intersection.
You look left and can see one man talking to someone else you can't see. They are in a medium sized 'room' in the cave. there are sleeping rolls and whatnot on the ground.
You look right and see the exact same thing, but you can actually see the two men talking as they are huddled around something, maybe a small table? A second, narrow passage, branches off halfway in the corridor to the room.
You look straight and see the cavern open up very wide. There is a large room with boxes. You see four men, but judging by the way the look like they're situated, and how they are talking, it doesn't seem like those four are the only ones in that room.
To go any further in any direction, you would cross right by one of the groups of men mentioned. There are at least 8-9 men that you know about now.
None seem to have noticed you, nor the lack of guards in the front of the cave.
Liet heads back to the group and reports what he found saying "There are quite a few of them total. At least nine... I'm not really sure what to suggest on how to handle them. I've never really been much of a fighter..."
Steve pulls a handful of dried crickets out of his sleeve. Holding them in his open right hand, he pushes them around with a left finger, squinting at them. He selects one that doesn’t seem to have too many legs broken off and returns the rest of the crickets up his sleeve.
Gesturing with the cricket between his fingers, “I figure the group in the room in the back I can knock out... if I can make it there undetected would be best. Liet, what do you think? You reckon there is enough cover for me to get close enough?”
9 against 4....mh.... Steve, how do you tink to handle 3 or 4 of them?
What if we make them come out little by litlle?! what if we force one of the prisoner to say something like "EHY, NAME OF A FRIEND, COME HERE" , of course, threatening him that if he says just one more word, we kill him?! but it is risky anyway...
Mh...any other ideas?
He mumbles
Can we make a little noise so that they will send one or two to check?!
"I could try to take out some of them as I did with the guards, better to try it with a small group, but I only can try it once more. Then I will be too exahusted to do it again. "says Frenevîr in whispers.

As Fran approaches, the two guards cease their conversation.
"Hey! You there!" The man draws his sword and steps forward a pace. "What you think you're doin', you...."
The man's voice trails off as he slumps to the ground, snoring deeply. His friend nearby is leaning against the cave wall also sawing logs....

Following up behind Liet will resolve himself, sneak towards the door, and see what he can see inside.

Benagol helps to tie them (also over the mouth) if the others decide to do so

”One of us should go in alone... quieter that way. Liet, perhaps a spider or a bat may go unnoticed?”

“It’s quite the trick, that is. I say we wait and let our friend here rest up.”

Frenevir is right, we cannot wait any longer
