Enog leads the children to the rocks and looks all around again for any sign of danger or any one watching them (perception:18) and then helps the children tuck themselves up into the outcropping of rock. "Pavel, Nadia, wait here until I come for you." He gives them a wink.
ooc: provided the coast is clear and there is no sign of him being watched the orc will cast Fog Cloud to further hide the kids.
oog: how do you link it so the spell description pops up in the post.
Krisnen awaits report from the forwards before advancing, he however does watch Enog work his magic to conceal the children. "The Great Forgers steam to conceal the children, clever" he remarks to Enog.
Fergus waits until the Ranger and Priest return then says "Stopping looters is not our mission today. We need to get those children safely back to Callidyr as quickly as possible. Forester, what are our chances of skirting around that shipwreck unseen?"
"I'm going to work some magic to conceal you both, stay quiet and wait here until I come back to get you." Stormbringer tells the children in a calm voice. He chant-sings what sounds like a snatch of old sea shanty as he makes some odd gestures with his hands, as he does this faint whisps of fog start to rise from the ground, and after just a few moments a rather dense Fog Cloud begins forming, obscuring the rock and the area around it from view. The half orc hustles back toward where his comrades are just a short distance away and signals to them that there's something inside the ship.
ooc: ya ninja'd me eggplants... I'm in to investigate/fight, obviously as I just expended a spell slot... I think we stand to learn something more about what's going on here on Alaron, which will only help us when we get to the king...
Fergus listens to Enog's arguments and considers all the view points. "Fine" he grumbles "perhaps you make a good point about learning valuable information. And it does appear the children will be safe within your cloud spell. If the Dwarf and the Forester agree then let's proceed to see what is in the hull of that ship. Priest you take the right flank and move up from the south, Dwarf you go in straight, I will circle left and come in from the north. Forester you stay back far enough to cover the Priest and Dwarf with your bow but close enough to render aid if necessary, and keep a weather eye out for anyone coming up behind us!"

As for me, I choose to believe that an extinct thunder lizard is running a game of Dungeons & Dragons via Twitter!
[As the adventurers get into the hull of the ship, they saw two hulking, greenish figures searching for something. Shark-folk. The infamous terrors of the sea.]
Whoa! Before we roll initiatives can we ask a few questions? Like have we been spotted? Because if we haven't been spotted perhaps we could take some time to set up an ambush or a trap or something, maybe just run away I don't know. Perhaps we would rather barter than fight. Now, if they have already seen us and are attacking that is different, but it I kind of feel that my hands are being tied and my choices are being limited here.

OOG Auberginian, I am sorry if sometimes I am not entirely clear in the descriptions. But, in two occasions I said that the party perceived someone in the hull. Then, I let you make your plans (children, Fog Cloud). Then, you wrote "let's proceed to see what is inside" and I assumed that means that you did go inside the hull. Without a Stealth check, or at least saying that you go stealthy, you are automatically spotted and sahuagins are not kind creatures. If you did not intend "inside the hull", I am sorry for my misinterpretation and I'll let you make further plans.

Enog Krisnen Sarmar Sahuagin1 Fergus Sahuging2
In the hull, there is quite a disorder. Some crates can be used for cover (half cover) and running does not seem a wise thing to do. The party can attract the sharfolks outside. The sahuagins are 30 feet from the entrance.
Fergus bangs his flail against his shield, standing his ground, and yells "Hey! Mermaids! Tis your one chance to take your wretched hides back to the sea. That's right tuck your fins and swim away just like that soft bellied coward of a god you worship would do! Do you hear me tuna breath?!?"
Fergus then switches to elven and hopes everyone can understand "Everyone hold your attacks until they attack me. Dwarf, Forester, take cover behind some crates and used ranged attacks. Priest once they have engaged hit them hard as you can and don't worry about me being in the middle I can take it! No mistakes people!"
Obviously Fergus's strategy is to enrage the two creatures to the point where they disregard the rest of the party. Hopefully they speak common or all of this great taunting is for naught!

Enog spots some rocks 40 feet from the ship, which can be used for cover. (Half-cover for PCs, three-quater cover for children)
