It would be possible to move around the fire giant encampment, but time and stealth are of the essence if this were to be accomplished. After you have cleared the camp it is only three or four hours on foot to Djerad Thymar.
The game is up. A howl shatters the silence of the night, and two hell hounds begin to lope towards you, dragging their fire giant handlers. There is activity in the fire giant encampment as several undead giants pick up their greatswords and shamble in your direction.
"I think we need to run towards the city! Whoever is slowest or smallest may jump on my back... quickly!" The centaur would say, his hooves dancing impatiently in the dirt.
Garrus runs, but as he does, makes sure to fire of a barrage of Eldritch blasts towards the nearest enemy (cover fire), not meant to hit or hurt so much as they are to slow down or distract.
He'll run near at the edge of the group, closest to the giant's direction.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Miss Volgiah, please take no offense to this..
Oggéd will grab her by the waist, and lift her up to ride on Cleft's back.
you may slap me later, but now is no time to lose. I wish you the best of luck.
Now get to safety! Hide! Just do something!
Oggéd will use a potion (unless a cleric would be so kind?) (nope. Don't have one.) And dash away from the group to distract the hounds at least and try to hide.
Chaos ensues. Garrus' eldritch blasts initially deter the hell hounds, but their handlers bark a command and the cursed canines obey. Ogged catches the attention of one of the creatures, and it pelts in his direction with terrifying speed. The second darts after Cleft and Volgiah, gaining slowly. The fire giants fall behind, reassured that the hell hounds will accomplish their deadly task. (Cleft, your walking speed is 40 feet, correct?)
"Ogged! You-!." Volgiah's words are cut short as the two take off holds on tightly to Cleft. She looks back on the hellhound gaining on the two.
"Let's see if we can't get some protection. Give me a second, if you wouldn't mind holding on to me I'd appreciate it." Volgiah will attempt to cast spirit guardians on herself.
Cleft will reach back and pull Volgiah around and then griping with both hands by the waist, hold her up so that she can see the enemies around as he holds her high above his head with both hands.
The hell hounds howl and pursue the spirits, their original targets momentarily forgotten. When a hell hound tries to bite one of the luminescent creatures, however, it yelps with pain and staggers away. Volgiah's distraction is enough, and you soon leave the hell hounds and fire giants far behind.
You continue across the vast Ash Plains, staggering with exhaustion but refusing to rest until your task is completed. The next few hours are a blur. You remember collapsing at the gates of Djerad Thymar and being surrounded by concerned draconian faces. Then everything goes black.
When you recover, you find yourselves in a comfortable lounge area. Comfortable bamboo mats and intricately sewn pillows are scattered about the room, and exotic plants flow from pots along the walls. Your wounds have been magically healed (You are all at full HP) and you are wearing clean white robes. Matriarch Anala and several other council members are seated on the bamboo mats, talking in hushed tones.
"Welcome back to the land of the living." Anala says as you awake and take in your surroundings. "We have been waiting eagerly."
(lol, got to love that. We wake up being watched by elderly people who probably had us stripped naked and changed XD)
Garrus, upon waking up immediately jolts up and takes a low, near wolf like stance, his eyes darting all around. A low growl is held back, but still rumbles within him. After a moment he calms down, realizing he is in no immediate danger, but still is on guard and quiet. He gives the white robe a weird look and sniffs them, before giving them a uninterested sigh.

If Garrus approaches any closer he is danger of detection.

(He's not moving towards the camp, he's trying to find a path towards the city. Unless that requires him getting closer to the camp?)

Harris's objective was only to scout out the path, no reason to waste time going there and back.
Garrus us gonna motion for Ogged to start backing up, before returning to everyone else and explaining the route.
(What does the party decide to do?)

Cleft would offer to lead the party around towards town.
The party begins it's stealthy advance, the lives of thousands depending on their ability to evade the patrols. Stealth checks!
