Cleft will happily extend his hand and accept any coins given to him. "Thank you friend." The centaur will say with a smile to Ogged before looking to the others. "I say we setup a camp in whichever remains look the most defensible and set off in the morning..." The centaur will say placing his battle axes on his back
"I say we keep going," Suneni says, taking a look at the footsteps. "If they do this to Djerad Thymar, we might as well give up on this whole thing now." The capital would be a crucial place to defend, both tactically, and for reasons of her own. She kicked aside some of the ash, adjusting her backpack. Her monastery was in Djerad Thymar—it could be nice to see old friends, rest, and maybe gather some resources. She turned to the others, impatiently waiting for them to come to a decision.

The sixth figure stands quietly at one of the burnt down homes, examining the ash and destruction. The dwarven woman with long, bright red hair and tan skin; dressed in chain mail armor stand outs among the rubble. She inhales and exhales deeply, her eyes sad. A large war hammer slung across one of her shoulders and shield clasped in one hand. Volgiah turns and walks back to the other still standing people in the village. "Place was probably just a simple village, people living normal lives, no need for this. May the Dawnfather watch over their souls. I say we chase after the creatures, if they're the undead ones we've heard about then we need to put 'em back in the ground were they belong."
"It's my hometown, so I could take us there, probably. I'm not much of the 'leader' type myself, but directions? That I can do," Suneni said with an amused snort. She turned back towards the giant tracks and closed her eyes, trying to remember how far it was from here to Djerad Thymar, and if there were any other towns on the way. Survival: (?) 7

(just trying to be fair, my survival check was at advantage because it was assuming we are following the giants, if we are trying to go around them to the capital or other places I would probably need to re-roll :P )
Oggéd, she'd have to remember that. "Suneni Nemmonis. It's a name that you'll hear everywhere one day, so you'd do well to remember it," she said, watching the footprints as they walked, seemingly only half listening to the conversation.

The party departs the smoldering ruins, leaving the dead to rule over their empire of ash. Cleft and Suneni leading the way, you follow the giants tracks into the open plains, a vast expanse of dry grass and dead trees. You continue along your current course for several miles until you spot the forms of two titanic beings, presumably a rear guard, silhouetted in the light of the pale moon. Even from this distance you can smell the foul stench of the grave and the odor of burning flesh. The giants stride is slow and ponderous, granting you a rare advantage over the lumbering behemoths. Out here in the open there is no cover save a few scattered rocks and dead trees, and you can only pray that the undead giants remain unaware of your presence as you advance cautiously.
(So DM, do we all know eachother already? I mean I don't mind having a nice character intro / description for each of us but I was under the assumption that we had already teamed up to fight the fire giants, just trying to figure out our relationship :P )
As they traveled, Keluzur would take up the rear to make sure nothing crept up from behind them, and although he walked casually with the rest of the group, his fingers were twitching, ready to grab at his sword at a moment's notice. Eventually, mind began to wander when Ogged suddenly spoke and introduced himself, followed by Suneni.
Keluzur grins, "If we end up saving Djerad Thymar all our names will be sung as heroes," he says, "My name is Keluzur. Well met, friend."
Miles later, they arrive and he sees a couple giant, hulking masses walking before them, their stench causing him to hold back a gag. His eyes go wide and he looks around to only find sparse cover. Cursing, he crouches, cursing himself again for wearing something so noisy in such a high-risk environment. Getting down low into a crouch, he tries to get behind a nearby tree to his right and walk as quietly as possible towards it. As quiet as he tries to be, his armour clanks and rattles loudly despite his efforts, each step causing him to wince until he reaches his destination.
"hu, oh... My name is Cleft!" The centaur will yell back to the others as he realizes that he has not introduced himself to his companions, his armor clanking and jingling as he trots along after the giants.
I am the stealthiest horse! and that wasn't even rolled with disadvantage... which it should be...
The six of you met in Djerad Thymar a few days ago. Your orders, directly from Matriarch Anala herself, are simple, though the execution of them is anything but. You are a hunting party of sorts, tasked with picking off individual undead fire giants and gathering information on the army to relay to Matriarch Anala and the Tymantheran Alliance. You are under no circumstances to engage the enemy army in direct combat.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Spotting the giants, Garrus immediatly summons forth his bow. Holding out his hand, a longbow materializes, seemingly out of thin air, it's a dark grey coloration, with 6 golden yellow eyes clustered around the handle.
As soon as his bow is within his grasp, Garrus attempts to enter stealth, so as to get the giants off guard. He gives a quick glance to his "team", but for the most part ignores them, only saying, "Don't get killed."

Cleft will shrug towards Semeni. "Hey, whatever everyone wants to do... my legs are made to keep moving" he will say as he trots in place a moment.
"The capital, eh? That's not a bad idea. You got my vote. Im no leader so who knows the way?"
"I am sure I can probably get us there if everyone wants to get going?" Cleft will say with a grin, wiping some of the ash off of his armor.

"Very well," Keluzur says as he nods and looks over to the direction where the giants went. "We keep moving then."
