Thakdrith translates Quetzacoatl's query to the Goblins, but also asks them how they were contacted. "Some sort of mass telepathy aimed at those shunned by society?"
The goblins look at the two of you as you speak in turn. "The Lizard King will bring back the jungle! And when the cities fall, and the world is natural once more, we will get wide lands of our own for our service!" One goblin climbs up on top of another to get a better view at you. "His messangers came to us and to others across Faerun. The birds never lie."
((Sorry guys, it seems that I won't be able to post consistently on the weekends, but I'll try my best to be consistent)).
The goblins peer at you, but then relax, as they can see no deception in your eyes. "Follow me! I'll take you to the king. We must follow the vines, but beware of the water. The white-skins ((goblin slang name for humans)) have chained sirens in the water to prevent our kind from expanding towards their port city. Let me out of this hole, and I'll show you the way!"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Thakdrith
"Splendid, new friends! Sorry for all the suspicion, had to make sure you meant us no harm. What shall we call you?" To try and determine if they are being deceptive, i'll roll Insight: 19.
An aside, to Maromin and Quetzalcoatl, "They seem like an alright sort, lets see where they can take us!"
Quetzalcoatl begins to sketch the goblins and write down some general attributes. "I agree. The goblins might be able to lead us to what we are looking for... whatever that is."
@Thakdrith, you weren't able to gather anything from the goblins' speech.
The goblins point to the walls of the pit. "Come on now, dwarf! Let's get us out of this here dump. My name is Zats. These here are Lucs and Stok." Zats seems to be the leader of the goblin trio, with the others usually silent.
Thakdrith tosses down a rope and helps the goblins up to the surface. "Thakdrith, these are my companions. Are you lot hungry?" Thakdrith offers to share his rations, food and or water, as a sign of good faith. Thakdrith then attempts to make small talk as the goblins lead the way. "How's hunting around these parts? Where are you lot from?" Thakdrith wants the goblins to gravitate around him, in case they try anything shifty.

He ponders to himself...
"This king of yours... what is he *king* of?"
Maromin
(whispers) "I'm ready to stun these beasts if they try anything funny."

Quetzalcoatl stands behind Thakdrith, letting him handle the talking. She watches the goblins vigilantilly.

Maromin follows behind the goblins. She's skeptic about the situation, but she decides to be silently cautious.

Keeps a close eye on the goblins, learning as much as he can about them and those gathering towards the lizard king.
