Goblin B emerges, shooting at Abigail, before scampering and attempting to hide as well (disadvantage). Attack: 19 Damage: 7 Stealth: 23
Summary: Lafetha moves over, healing Yaalin from some of her wounds (+8). Abigail continues her hunt. Diadochi moves over to protect, while Sim readies a arrow for when the goblins appear. One of the goblin emerges, taking a hit from Sim (4), before shooting Diadochi (8). The other Goblin shoots at Abigail (7), before seeming to slip from view. Yaalin comes over and strikes the goblin that was trying to get away, killing it outright.
Round 4 (Begin)
Setup: There is one Goblin left in the chamber, somewhere in the room that keeps popping out and taking shots. It's injured, but still well hidden. (Perception DC 23 to find).
The remaining Goblin pops out from behind a series of the rocks, beginning to take aim over at Sim. Sim, with his bow at the ready, turns as he notices the creature coming out. The arrow flying and striking the creature through the heart before it could let off a arrow.
The two goblins now lay on the ground dead. Their stone-like skin similar to that of the elder on Diadochi's shoulder; giving them a bit of natural camouflage in the cave itself.
The room branches off inside a side passage (area 4). But, Diadochi, you know that ahead lies the location with the false wall. Where the vision you saw had the people in the cave fighting and fleeing.. It's the second way into this mountain cave (Area 7). And just beyond that should be the shrine room.

Diadochi searches the Goblins for anything if value, while Sim rests. He tries to hear anything coming form 4 perception18 . He'll ask the elder if he knows anything about this area of the cave. Once everyone is done resting Diadochi will say "so by now we're all aware of the false wall on the south side, but I think it's so obvious it's likely to be a trap and while I I've knowingly set of my share of traps, I have no intention of giving them the opportunity to easily flank us." He nods towards 4 " we make sure this one is cleared out and come back and figure out what's going on with the flase wall."

(Wandering monster roll: 195)
The sounds of movement, bits of hushed words, and other things seem to echo out of the connected cave tunnel, but it's difficult to see down. What's worse is the smell; somehow the smell of the latrine area from above wafting down this way.
Turning to the elder goblin, they speak for a moment. It seems that the elder doesn't know much of the cave itself. After all, they came here with their leader fairly recently - using the beast and the tunnels that were dug by some kobalds.
During the time where you all take a rest, the glowing particles in the air begin to swirl more. Their pulses not getting brighter. Just faster. And faster. The arcs of silver and black between them becoming more common. The elder watches, before speaking in a low voice. "Shale ish almost done." Further questions don't lead anywhere with the Elder, as it doesn't know much on the ritual itself.
Do you give up on your rest and move forward? Or finish the rest before going.
(If taking a rest, Sim can decide between identifying the helmet or healing with hit dice. Others can use hit dice to heal. If moving along, you do not get any benefits from the short rest)
The group catches their breath, while Sim sits and studies the helmet. Putting it on and off. Tracing his fingers along it's ridges.
Over the course of the hour, you all regather your things. Still sounds and smells coming from (area 4 & 7). But Diadochi knows that through area 7 is a hidden exit to the mountainside, as well as the main chamber right after it.
Diadochi gets up and starts to march but then he turns around and sees that his team needs a rest and he comes back and sits down, next to Sim, "This may not be the best time, but this may be the last time I have the chance to get some answer. You know about Tylemon, and you know about When I lost my village. These two facts have never been shared by me to one a single person. No other Loxodon who knows would have told you. Now I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, as gossip flows freely among cultures with ... different values and I've gone well out of my way to be a spectacle. So the question is, where did you learn what you learned, and why it's never come up that you've heard of me before?" He takes 1 hit die of refreshment 5 . If applicable insight14
Sim takes a moment and contemplates how to respond. Looking around to ensure no one else is close enough to overhear he responds slowly. “I hope you can forgive me but I have not been entirely forthcoming with you. I am not exactly who I seem. I...trust you so I will tell you this if you swear to keep my secret.”
If diadochi swears “Your friend Malther and I are two pieces of the same puzzle. I am a changling and I am the same man you befriended back in the city. I came hear to ensure you had someone to watch your back.”
If he won’t swear. “ I will tell you that Malther and I are acquainted and I know of your stories through him.”
The group begins to head out, further into the cave. Once stepping into (area 7), the room takes a few twists and turns. A lone spear can be seen resting up against the wall. The shuffling of a few rocks can be heard, along with some quiet whispers.
You all come to a halt, realizing you're not entirely alone. It appears a band of Hn'ti warriors are also inside the chamber with you. But you haven't spotted them, and it seems they have not yet spotted you.

Diadochi pauses for a second upon hearing this "Well it turns out that 2 of my friends are the same person, I suppose stranger things have happened" he pauses again "were you behind that whole Fiasco with Earl of... oh right evil man with an evil ritual just begging for the forces of good to stop them. Alas, another time. Your secret is safe with me. Say what you like, but Diadochi doesn't tell tell tales out of turn."
When he sees the Hn'ti "I don't suppose if we tell them the lion is free and attacking their town, they'll be in such a rush they won't bother fighting us... or maybe they'll align with us in fighting Shale" He shakes his head "Oh course not, everyone here seems totally deaf to the idea that we want to help them. I don't think we can take more set backs or delays at this point. We can do what we always do, Abigail sneaks, sim hit's with arrow, I yell at one of you until you do it right and Yaalin and Lafetha makes sure our our follys don't kill us."

You look around, but don't see anything out of the ordinary. You do smell them nearby, but not enough to pinpoint where they are. (I'll save the initiative in case combat breaks out)
Yaalin elvauates if she cares in a few hn'ti die as well, the war in her head and the darkness wins. She proceeds towards the other end of the chamber ignoring the other room occupants.
Yaalin barrels forward. And... nothing seems to happen. Movement. A whistle. Shadows. But not a single stray arrow or spear being tossed.
Yaalin, you stand at the thresh hold of rounding the corner of the next room. (Area 8). A soft amber glow seems to come stronger from this chamber. Faintly you hear a few cries and sniffles. Low moans of people in some kind of slow sickly pain.
A lone, goblin, voice can be heard chanting in Primordial.

The rest of you see the shadows of what seems to be four hn'ti warriors stalk Yaalin, but not engage. They remain mostly hidden from view. As Yaalin gets to the edge, you hear a repetitive pattern. Followed by some kind of arcane words in a goblin-ish voice. Then the low moans of sickly pain.
Diadochi follows Yaalin "You know it makes my job that much more difficult when you keep wandering into rooms with possible combatants" Diadochi will try to get close to Yaalin to use protection fighter. He looks to the Hn'ti provided they haven't attacked yet "I don't know what your angle is but if you want to help us take down Shale, now is the time." He turns to Yaalin "no time like the present, eh?" and hopefully they go towards the chanting goblin but Diadochi stands by Yaalin if at all possible.

Sim joins the others and says “I really need to take a break and figure out what this helmet does and heal up. That lightning hit me hard.”
Then he finds an area to rest and sits down with the helmet.
