Conas you peak out of the door way you see a couple of men carrying boxes and moving goods ready to be taken ashore and you notice a young boy maybe the age of 9 walking past the door, none of them notice you until you grab onto the boys dirty torn shirt, he looks at you weary eyed and confused.
Con stares at the boy for a moment, long enough to fix the kid's face in his head, then abruptly releases him, shrugs, steps back into the room and closes the door. He sits down in his chair and leans back.
Thought I heard something, but it was just a kid. Still, this isn't the most private place in the world. Maybe we should leave the details for later.
Con when the kid is dropped again to the floor he scampers to his feet and runs off through the people unloading, but does not seem to join them.

"I'll be back a moment," Mal says and stands from his chair and begins following the boy, keeping his distance. The fact that he'd came in and ran off the way he did was suspicious enough, but taking a piece of paper out like that. He learned long ago not to take anything for chance. Whether it was pure coincidence or not, he intended to find out.

((looks like we've arrived in town))
Not wanting to see his new team split up so early, and seeing the person who he said he'd join head off Gom will try to follow behind Mal. Also staying quiet, though more keeping an eye on Mal, than the boy he was following, just to watch for dangers. Just after Mal heads out, Gom will repeat his words to the rest of the group "I'll be back a moment"
When the others leave but before Livvi does to talk to the captain he says to her “l could go with you, talk to the guards of the wealthy ones, see what I can learn,”
Nope, says Con. I try hard not to notice kids, and it's not easy, with the noise and the smell. He grins, but it fades as he notices the serious expression on Merrick's face. Shit. Really? You think some kid walking by is a threat? He can't have been more than ten years old.
Con pulls a deck of playing cards from his pocket and starts shuffling them idly. Hey, you wanna go chase him down? I'd come with, but I think maybe four of us going after one little brat might attract some stares.
"No you are right, it is to late. It might even attract unwanted attention. But who better to spy than people you don't notice.Remember that please in the future."
Mal as you duck and weave between the stock and boxes on the top deck you are able to follow the kid without him noticing as far as you are aware, he then stops at the side of the boat looking over towards the incoming land maybe no more then an hour or so away and is staring and looking off.
Gom you are able to follow Mal without him noticing as his attention is somewhere else and keep on track with him, however when moving through the boxes you almost get a little lost trying to keep up and begin to panic for a second in the tight space, until you come running up to just behind Mal again almost hitting into him.
Merrick make either and history check to remember or an insight check to sense how the kid was acting.
((cool cool. I didn't need to hide from Mal, just more be hidden with him.))
When Gom nearly bumps into Mal he'll stop and say (in Elvish) "Greetings, friend" and try to follow what he's looking at. Then he will kind of shrug as if asking if everything is ok.
Mal looks back at Gom and gives a nod. "Everything's fine," he says as he looks back at the boy for a moment before diverting his attention to the approaching town in the distance. With a shrug he steps towards the railing of the ship some distance from the boy and leans back on it. "I'll just be enjoying the breeze for a while," he says in elvish, "the boy could be up to something. Could be nothing, but I'd enjoy the company, Gom"

Con continues shuffling his cards for a bit, thinking on what Merrick had said, and remembering the look of confusion on the kid's face. He hadn't looked like he'd been caught doing something wrong. Had he? Meh, Mal and Gom will sort it out. Con holds up his freshly-shuffled cards to Merrick; you play? He looks over to Rasen as well, to show that the invitation includes him as well.

Love God. Love Others. Any Questions?
Malafindor looks over at the door, a slight frown on his face. "I think that would be a most fantastic idea," he says almost distractedly.

Con notices Merrick's raised eyebrow, and stares at the tiefling for a moment.
What? he eventually asks.

He moves to sit opposite to Con.
