My [incorrect] thinking was that you could cast an action spell and a BA cantrip in the same turn. Because of the BA spell rules, you cannot cast counterspell on your turn if you have cast a BA spell. So if you cast Sanctuary, for example, and I counterspell it, you cannot counterspell me because at that point, counterspell, by definition, is a non-cantrip spell being cast on the same turn as when you cast a BA spell and therefore is illegal

Grianne's T-Rex form drops as she is trapped in a Mental Prison, allowing Toren to attack her directly (The AoO still goes into T-Rex HP and is thus negated). She sees herself surrounded by whispering bookcases, and as she reaches for them the whispering intensifies to the point of pain.
(Just a note, Grianne, the boundaries of the mental prison are set up around the space of your T-Rex form, giving you a 15 ft cube to be in. You are still restrained and are suffering all the other effects).
With her spell taking hold, Griannes eyes glint with the gaze of a predator once again. She moves closer to Torena frozen form as her green paralyzing energy surrounds him. As she steps, the water around her seem togather on her robes. Her color begins to fade into translucence. It's as if though her very flesh has been replaced with pure water. Waterainne flows up to Toren, holding her vaguely humanoid form, waiting impatiantly for her change to crush him.

Erriviel looks over at Eider, "You've been quite the pest, why don't you go annoy someone else?" and casts Dominate Person (DC 17 Wis save or be charmed for up to 1 minute).

The watery form of Grianne engulfs Toren and uses her Whelm ability. Her holding spell forcing him to fail the strength test needed to escape. She crushes him with more water than he can handle
Toren takes 15 bludgeoning damage. He is not grapple and restrained. And he is unable to breath.
She dragged the Toren's with her to the bottom of the water and as far as she can swim while dragging him along headed away from the treasure.

As a bonus action he commands them to attack the Drow. (Tiny creatures can occupy the same space as an enemy correct? If not they surround him in a C formation blocking his oath to the flag and allowing as many of them as possible to get an AoO should he move.)

Eider hurls a volley of coins at Erriviel, most of them bouncing off his magical protections ineffectively but a few managing to connect (22 damage total). Assuming that he is not deadified (i.e that Eider continues to roll with the same luck), his owl flies down to help him attack Eider before flying up to the top of the pit. Erriviel then launches a volley of Eldritch Blasts at Eider. He then applies a Shillelagh to his quarterstaff.
